I love this car so much I’ve had for a year and it was totaled a month after I bought it and it’s still going strong. I put struts and brakes on it and it’s a beast! Best $2300 purchase I’ve ever made.

We bought it new in 1996 and wound up never getting rid of it. It's comfortable, the styling holds up and it's been a lot more reliable than I expected from a cheap Chevy. We only put about 5K a year on it, but it has been on a few long road trips. She's got about 120K on her, now. It's a Southern California car, but did ten years in snow country and then returned to California with us. Siped tires and its traction control/ABS made this a snow-eater ... never got stuck as long as we had clearance. The AC compressor has gone out twice. I replaced the struts. The water pump was replaced, I think. Other than that, it's been really great. The interior is okay. Lots of big, 90s GM plastic pieces that never fit quite right. It's noisier than some other cars, too. It handles fine ... predictable, reasonable limits and decent steering feedback for a GM product. Mine's the DOHC 2.4 liter with 150 horses. It scoots the car along just fine. The engine is willing and eager, but the car is neither "fast" or "slow." It's okay. Working on it is simple. Parts are still cheap. A decent used Cavalier costs less than tires on the new cars. The second-gen J-Cars (particularly the Chevy styling) are overlooked charmers. Cheap and reliable and easy to fix. Winner.

Unfortunately, my car was totaled and I was able to find a very nice Toyota RAV4, that I’ve always wanted! Matthew was absolutely amazing. He was very welcoming and didn’t push any aspect of the deal on me whatsoever. He was extremely patient and very easy to work with. He made my buying experience extremely easy and fun which was a blessing because of all the stress I was feeling over my situation.

Honestly the best car I have ever owned. The only thing it cost me was, oil changes, tires and a battery. I had it for 16 years. When I sold it, my wife said she'd miss the car more than she'd miss me.

I got this car when I was 16 and it has been great! There are a few details I dislike, mostly cosmetic. The cup holders are very small so only short small drinks fit in them and cups block air controls which gets very annoying. Not extremely comfortable, but good for getting around! As a noob when it comes to mechanics, I really appreciate how easy and cheap it is to replace parts (ex. I replaced the headlights and the sun visors which just pop out). It held all my friends and gets good gas mileage. I also have a natural gas tank as well which was awesome. Unfortunately I got rear ended so it looks like that will be the last of my little Chevy :,( loved it while it lasted though!

We recently bought a CNG truck from Morris Auto Sales and they have provided beyond excellent service. We are new to CNG systems and have had several questions. Everytime we call they are more than happy to explain the system. They are knowledgeable and friendly, definitely not pushy and very patient with us and our questions. We recently bought a 2016 VW Jetta for our teenage son. Lee was very kind and helpful. He did not pressure us at all and went out of his way to help us find a place nearby to get a prepurchase inspection completed on the weekend. The inspection showed that the car needed an alignment, which J&M agreed to take care of. Lee also got us a great deal on new window tint. The purchase process was quick and easy. We waited a couple months after purchasing to write this review and we are very happy with the car.

My parents bought the 2005 Cavalier sedan 4 door brand new in 2004 and I am driving it today in 2021 with little to no issues. About 215k miles on it. Keep up with oil changes, tires, brakes etc. and you are all set with this car. If you are buying it used, I suggest you always ask for the Carfax and get it checked out by a mechanic first. We had to get the AC fixed at least once over the years but that’s normal for an older car. I bought seat covers and a steering wheel cover for it, because like I said we’ve had it since 2004 and it went through 2 messy kids. Doesn’t do great on the interstate because engine will start to overheat if I go above 65 for more than a few minutes, but no other issue. Has only refused to start twice that I can remember, and those were years ago. Easy jump start. Not the prettiest or most modern car but it sure whips. Paint has began to chip but I heard that that’s a Chevrolet issue from that year. Should’ve gotten a paint job and a modern Bluetooth stereo system, but couldn’t afford it. So I bought a Bluetooth plug-in for the cigarette port so I can charge my phone and play music from my phone, was less than $20. The spare tire that comes with the car is ridiculously small, so maybe get a new one. Great gas mileage and economic value, especially with today’s gas prices! I call her ole reliable, and she’s great on ice, rain, and snow. Huge trunk space for a car that size and comfortably seats 4-5. Great car, has served both my family and myself very well.

I bought this car with over 204,000 miles. I was scared to drive it from Colorado to Texas or from Denver to San Antonio. Because they had a lot of miles on it. But now it has 220,000 miles and still runs. I'm hoping it'll last me at least till 300,000. But out of all the cars I've owned over the years, this has the most miles on it and it is probably the most reliable car. I didn't trust it at 1st but now that I drove over 950 miles straight through without stopping except to put gas. I definitely trust it now.

Bought in 2008, had 50,000 on it. Now have 180,000...all its ever had is oil changes, a few batteries, tires and front brakes...that's it ! It still has the original belts and hoses.. 14 years and still going strong... now the bad.. subframe is rotting out (Chicago rust belt car) seat cover wore out.. and AC quit in 2018.... but hey I only paid $7k for it in 2008.. gonna be hard to say goodbye. We've been through snowstorms, ice storms, hail, floods and a deer encounter.

I have had this car for 22 years. I wish it was garaged as it is rusting out and the paint has peeled. It has 235,000 miles on it and still running as of 2024.

An AMAZING ride. Wife bought it with 16,000 miles. She drove it for years. Drove it hard. Then I got it as a hand me down. I drove it hard. Ended up putting 201,997 miles on it. Hauled 1,000 lbs of Sand an Dirt in it (REPEATEDLY). Nothing would Kill this car... an I only had to get rid of it because the Rear Axle Support Bracket rotted out an broke. 10-2018 when the Salvage Yard came an got it.. it started rite up an he drove it up on to the trailer. 21 years. What a GREAT RUN... I thought about Band Aiding.. wife said NO. I?m going an checking out a 2000 Cavalier 10-23-18 hoping its what I?m looking for ???

I recently purchased a truck from SAG Denver, I have had a very positive and professional experience with the sales and service departments. I normally avoid dealerships at all costs, however I came across a beautiful truck that I was having difficulty finding on the private market. I enquired online and was replied to very expediently. I received a no pressure call from a sales person who scheduled an appointment with me. When I arrived, I was greeted and assisted immediately. I test drove the truck with Tracey, who by the way, I highly recommend working with. After driving and inspecting the truck for a bit, I detected what is a common mechanical problem with that type of truck. I brought it up to Tracey and the sales manager Dan and my concerns were immediately acknowledged and validated. Dan did not try to gloss over my concern or argue that there was an issue, instead, he gracefully offered to have the repairs made along with any other contributing or resulting damage as needed. I left the truck with them to begin the repairs, unfortunately it was a bit more involved than originally thought. There ended up being a significant amount of engine work needed, nothing that could have possibly been detectable without opening up the motor. I think most dealerships would have somehow tried to find a way to charge me or unwind the deal rather than proceed with completing all necessary repairs and making the truck run properly. I have several other vehicles so I wasn't by any means inconvenienced, however I did purchase the truck because I had to haul some things for family. After the repairs ran into an extended period of time I did email to express my concerns, I received a call from Dan offering me another truck from their inventory until the repairs were completed on mine. I can't express enough how impressed and pleased I am with the entire experience with Springs Automotive in Denver, I would definitely recommend them and would buy from them again.

I can’t say enough great things about the 02’ cavalier. Mine unfortunately became too unsafe for the road due to the MN winters taking their toll on its body. Salty roads. The perfect all around car for many years of reliability and great mpg. The handling is pretty good for a econo box and the seats were great. Can’t forget about the cup holders in the top of the center console either. I miss it everyday as I learned stick in that car and many milestones happened because of it. The first chance I get, I’m buying another one.

The 2004 Cavalier has been my primary vehicle for over 15 years and I cannot recommend it enough!!! In 15 years it has only left me stranded once, only 1 time and that was a few weeks ago when a break line burst. Handles snow and ice extremely well for a vehicle of its size and weight. Gas mileage is good and basic maintenance is simple so no need to take to a specialist for an oil change or to replace a battery. Phenomenal vehicle for the price and outstandingly reliable.

Jessica was great, great customer service and face of the front desk, and very informative. Wait time for the oil change was extremely long (over 4 hours), and I had an appointment.

I’m only 16, so I was looking for a cheaper car and found this one off a guy down the road, he drove it to Iowa from Texas so it had no rust but we were worried that it wouldn’t start in the winter, even when the temp hit below -20°F it still started everyday!! It has an amazing stereo system and mine has automatic windows. There is not a day I doubt this car it is SO RELIABLE!!!!
