Wife's car blew out a rear wheel brake cylinder in 2023. We limped in & explained the problem to Lauren, she checked the puddle of brake fluid around the rear wheel & immediately put a hand written sign, NO BRAKES, on the dash before finishing the repair order. Let me begin by saying I have been looking for this dream car of mine for 2 years now, after countless hours with countless different dealerships, I finally found what I was looking for... a gorgeous gray metallic Genesis G80 Sport AWD V6 3.3L Turbo...365HP Luxury Sedan, CPO, Certified Pre Owned Genesis, heads up display, front, rear and side mirror cameras, Android auto, the works! Took months of dealing with dealerships, and the Salesman that helped me at Algonquin was so patient with me... You can't find these in my side of the country, they're all in the East coast, I was an out of state buyer from Colorado and tons of dealerships and their salesmen wrote me off but not this one, many not taking me seriously... but Casey from Algonquin Hyundai was the hero I needed... Even after times when the deal fell through, he would follow up with me, making sure he was still there to help me with this purchase... finally after a couple months and all the stars lined up, it was time to make the purchase, and Casey's steadfast dedication to make sure I was taken care of paid off. I literally bought the car, without even seeing it, just from pictures, from Colorado, then flew out to pick it up. They FedEx'ed me the paperwork, I signed it, sent it back then flew out to Chicago to pick it up and drove it back. Not only that, Casey himself picked me up at the airport and drove me back to the dealership 1 hour away! Talk about Genesis customer service! What do you expect when a luxury fully loaded 2022 4 door sedan goes for 58k when it's new you're buying primo goods... and mine was a 2018! I, and my wife bought a 2018 Chevy Cruze LS Sedan in February 2018 brand new right off the back of the delivery truck. We simply take very good care of "PIP" as we call him, and he has and does take very good care of us. The key is keep up with all of the maintance before it is needed! Great car overall, only 41, 767 Miles!

We purchased our 2017 hatchback new in the summer of 2017. Our only expenses at 134,000 plus miles has been gas, regular oil and filter changes, tire pressure sensor and tires. A VERY reliable car with average mileage 34 mpg, max highway was 55 plus! And normal highway at 70 mpg of 43 mpg. No interior, exterior or mechanical issues or viewable wear. I wish Chevy still produced them for sale in U.S.A. as we would gladly buy another. No other new vehicle this size, mileage, amenities at this price.

I owned a generation 2 Chevy Cruze hatchback for the past 8 years. Other than routine maintenance it never had a failure. Excellent fit and finish. Incredible gas mileage with a peppy turbo charged engine. The only negative is that GM no longer produces these highly reliable vehicles.

I bought my 2016 Chevy Cruze LT in 2019 with 19,000 mi on it. I've now had it for 6 years and with minimal maintenance I now have $270,000 mi on the car. I'm 71 years old I have a lead foot and I love the cruze. Still driving that car today and now looking to buy another one. It's too bad Chevrolet did not continue to make the cruze.

I had a 2017 Cruze manual and loved it. A careless driver rear ended me and sent me into another vehicle; totaled it. By the grace of Almighty God and a great GM design I walked away without a scratch. I went right out and bought my 2018. Dynamic Blue LT. Comfortable, zippy, easy driver, lots of toys. Great on long trips, HUGE trunk for travel gear, great gas mileage. Great 4 wheel disc brakes. I don't care for the auto-stop but I can get over that. It sits a bit low so my wife who had a stroke recently has a hard time getting out of the passenger side.

Throughout the entire process, the staff was very helpful, especially the Ramy salesman. Anybody looking for a vehicle should definitely consider buying from them.

from what I'm seeing other people report, the 1.4 turbo is the problem. I have the LS 1.8 and yes I have replaced the water pump but it was not driven hot so it did not damage the head gasket or block. it has 180,000 miles on it and runs like a new one. the comfort and handling makes up for the lack of power although it has enough. it's not a Camaro or a Corvette but it's a xxxx good Car.

I owned a 2013 LS from 2013-2020. I had the 1.8 L which seems to have less problems than the 1.4 turbo. From the years I owned it the water pump needed to be replaced and regular maintenance. As the base model the interior wasn’t the greatest but it was meant to get me from A to B. I eventually traded it in for a 2020 equinox. Overall the Cruze did well for me.

I bought this car with 8,900 miles, I have put over 15,000 on it, it sits around 30,500 miles now I haven’t had any issues with it at all and is been driven in long distances from Texas to Montana and so on Now I doo get a few people say this car is crap and unreliable But this one is different, I recommend this car 100%

This is a great car for a person my size. Plenty of leg room and very comfortable. This car has plenty of power and is very easy to handle. The car is very quiet.

I really liked my LTZ. I will admit that I had some issues, but I took care of it. The only mistake I made was not putting a Remanufactured engine in it after it had a head gasket repair. I drove it hard. Even with the issues I had. I would buy it again. I would get an Endurance Extended warranty. I had no issues with the transmission. I did have two window motors go out though. I had 188K miles on it. The reason I go rid of it was. I had an oil smell in it even after I had it repaired and the mechanic could not find it.

I had a great experience at Frey Automotive! I live near Naperville, IL and have A LOT of dealers to choose from. I was looking for a used Nissan Leaf with Quick Charge, and all of the dealers near me had a lack of knowledge about this car even though they were trying to sell them. I called several dealers near me to ask about their Nissan Leaf inventory. Most of the dealers didn't know what quick charge was, the photos they posted didn't help verify if the car had it or not, and some of the dealers started sending me emails saying "free oil changes for life" (Nissan Leaf doesn't use oil...). Finally, I came upon Frey Automotive's website and found the car that I ended up purchasing. The car's description and photos made it extremely easy to see that this car was an exact match! I drove up to the dealership to meet JJ for a test drive and to talk about the car. I've only purchased 2 other vehicles in my life, but this was the most hassle free purchase I've made. We both were able to agree to an honest price for the car (and the price was on the low end of market value, which made the deal extra good for me knowing I didn't get ripped off). I came back for the car the next weekend once finances were in place and the car has been perfect ever since!

I bought my 2013 Chevy Cruze ECO 6 years ago with 29K miles and now it has 114K miles. It is fun to drive (6 speed manual), quiet, and gets 44 MPG on my daily commute down mostly secondary country roads. I love the style and comfort and it has been super reliable. I only use full synthetic motor oil because of the turbo and I don't constantly hammer the 4 cylinder engine. The handling on country roads is fun and excellent. Love this car, its a keeper. I just wish GM didn't stop making cars, I mean who wants to drive dump trucks?

I have owned my Cruze for about two years now with no problems. I have driven this car back and forth to work and around town multiple times, with no issues. I have the LS trim with the 1.8. I can say the LS trim lacks many features, but still provides easy to use technology and a comfortable ride.

I got this car with 76k on it and it now is close to hitting 200k and is showing no signs of giving up. I do have the '14 LT model. I have, however, followed the maintenance schedule included the necessary tune-ups, transmission flushes, oil changes, and part replacements. There is nothing that has been replaced that is not surprising considering how many miles have been put on the car. The car has not disappointed me and has run as expected. It has also been run all over New England and a good portion of the East Coast and through most terrains. It has handled just as well in the rough Northern NY winters as it does in the summers. I would gladly buy this car again.

I used this car as a daily driver and bought it with 11,000 miles on the clock. These things are known for issues but with the proper maintenance you get a lot less of those it’s been a great car to me and hasn’t actually given me any of those issues so far. I love it.

I purchased a silver 2017 Chevrolet Cruze LT with the “convenience” package from Carmax in April of 2020 for about $16,000. It was a one owner vehicle, garage kept, and had only 24,000 miles. I got a great deal on it with financing and it is probably the best decision I’ve made in terms of buying a car. The exterior design is attractive, and modern. The interior is also very attractive and doesn’t have the cheap look and feel of many compact cars. It has all the technology you could want in a vehicle. Apple CarPlay/ responsive infotainment system, optional WiFi hotspot, OnStar, heated seats, push button start, stop/start system and more. When it comes to performance, it’s a mixed bag. It is more enjoyable to drive and has more power than other subcompact cars with 4 cylinder engines. I had a 2014 Nissan Sentra with 2.0 I4 and CVT transmission and it was the most boring driving experience imaginable. The 2017 Cruze is an improvement over that. The 1.4L Turbo engine is wonderful for highway driving. When cruising on a highway in a lower gear, you punch the throttle and the turbo kicks in, giving you plenty of reserve power for passing. Highway driving is where this car shines. When using regular unleaded fuel, you will experience some turbo lag, which can be jarring if you’ve never driven a turbocharged vehicle. Using Plus grade gasoline makes a noticeable difference in reducing turbo lag. On the other hand, the overall acceleration from 0-60 is disappointing and can feel sluggish when accelerating from a complete stop For reliability, I haven’t had any issues with the car yet. I am aware of the reputation of GM compact cars and the 1.4 turbo engine, but this car feels far more refined than any other subcompact vehicle I’ve ever owned. It feels like a quantum leap from the previous generation Cruze. So stick with the 2016-2019 models, as they don’t have as many reliability issues as the 2010-2015 models. As of today the car has 48,000 miles and with timely maintenance I’ve had no mechanical issues to date in the first 3 years.
