Used 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 trucks for sale near Pearland, TX

For context, I don’t buy new vehicles often. My last truck was a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS. I drove it 22 years and put over 200,000 miles on it. It was a great truck, so I wanted to replace it with another one. In late November, I purchased a 2024 Silverado 1500 LTZ with all the bells and whistles and I couldn’t be happier with a vehicle. It looks fantastic, Summit White, crew cab with short bed and 20” wheels have it sitting at the perfect height. Inside there is plenty of headroom for 6 ft plus people. The seats are super comfortable and it drives and rides fabulously. The interior is amazing. My wife, who generally doesn’t care much for trucks raves about it every time she sits in it. She says she can’t believe how comfortable it is and wants to take trips in it. If there is anything I have to say that is a bit negative is how the 10 speed transmission works at slow speeds. At times, I experience a sort of surging with it. The truck apparently “learns” your driving habits, so that may have something to do with it. Otherwise, I really enjoy everything about it. Looking for another 20 years with it!:)

I own a 2024 2WD WT, Double Cab. The WT model is the least expensive of the line up and comes with the 2.7L 4-cylinder HO motor. It has analog gauges, which I actually prefer over LED displays. The engine pulls like a V8 and sounds more like a small diesel. The 8 speed transmission shifts at the right times and is smooth. Cabin noise is minimal. It is a solid truck!

This was the first time I purchased a vehicle on my own and it was a very quick and smooth experience for me. I spoke with Mohamad and he made sure the vehicle I wanted was available, even staying late and coming in on his day off so I could sign all the paperwork. The trade in process went just as smooth! The buying process was simple and straightforward. Adrian the salesman was wonderfully honest and transparent. The only time I had any issues was with the trade-in appraisal which was ridiculously low and so I took it to CarMax and got 8k more than offered at Baytown. The only other hiccup was when finance was doing the final numbers and tried to slip in an extra charge for sales tax on a vehicle I didn?t trade in with them. I?ll give it to them as an honest mistake but they need to be more careful when talking a thousand dollars. I walked out a happy customer in the end and will happily refer folks to Baytown Ford especially for specialty and performance vehicles.

I had a rough first experience at Mac Haik Chevrolet’s service department, but Brian Caldwell, the Service Director, completely turned things around. He personally followed up the same day I voiced my concerns, sent a mobile tech to my house to handle the software update, and later arranged for a porter to deliver a loaner and pick up my truck for a roof recall and additional service. They performed every repair as promised—on time—including the roof fix, oil change, tire rotation, and a minor interior issue. Brian kept great communication throughout, even with our busy schedules, and treated my time and situation with real respect. What started as a frustrating experience turned into one of the best service recoveries I’ve ever seen. Huge thanks to Brian, his team, and Mr. Mac Haik. This is how a dealership should be run.
