Very costly popular issue!!!

I just bought this car today with my taxes. I love the cars features, roominess, and comfort. However, I drove it to my doctors appointment and about 40 miles from home I started have an issue with the fuel gauge. I had half a tank and it suddenly dropped to empty and the low fuel chime activated. I pulled into a station (I could not be stranded on side of road with kids) and attempted to put more gas in it. It would not take the gas. I had to run the pump very slowly. When I got back in the car and cranked it, the fuel gauge was reading 3/4 of a tank. I went on to doctor another 30 miles away just fine. On the way home it did it again. I started researching this and MANY people have had the same issue with this model and it doesn't seem to matter the year. The problem is in the dual tanks not fluctuating properly and the tanks will have to be dropped. New fuel filters, fuel pumps and floats. Now I have a car that I cannot depend on and cannot afford to put that kind of money out for. Seems like Chrysler would recall this issue with so many complaints. People with the same issue all over the internet. Please beware.
