Apart from no knowing what servicing has been done on the car before I bought it from TESLA! It's been okay two drives to UK from Norway the car has 150.000 Kms. They hadn't checked recalls, but fixed the front driveshafts & Suspension arms (recall). Nice bunch at Tesla Trondheim. Overall very happy with them, not so much with Tesla Skøyen in Oslo who were terrible.

First time purchasing a M Series, the seats are very comfortable. It handles well so far, we'll see how it does during the winter months. It accelerates nicely and curves are delightful. Love the spoiler and little extra details the M series has. My only complaint is it would have been nice to have all weather tires instead of summer tires. Not sure, why since this area has four seasons. The buying process isn't too bad, just depends on your situation. I usually get a new car, this was presented to me and such an upgrade and decent deal from my previous BMW, couldn't turn it down.

As a BMW driver for decades (318i, 328i), I reluctantly switched to Tesla when the Model S became the first practical EV. I wanted to drive electric more than I wanted to be loyal to (IMHO) the best line of sedans and coupes on the planet. I loved the S, too, but after 12 years it was having problems, support was rotten, and it was time for a replacement. Fortunately, all the manufacturers have EVs now. Although I test drove several other makes, I was delighted to see that the BMW i4 was my favorite. When it started to look like tariffs were going to increase prices, I abbreviated my search and went for the Bimmer. By chance, the dealer had a 2024 shop loaner available with low mileage and a lower price than a brand new 2025 so I leased it. (Incidentally, it was less expensive in absolute dollars than the Model S was in 2012!) I'm glad I "pulled the trigger" when I did and I love the car. Handling is excellent. It "feels like" a BMW despite slightly lighter steering than my last 328. It's feature-rich and I'm still learning the ancillary controls. I'm OK with CarPlay although Tesla's own infotainment system is better. The driver assist is good and automatic stop/start in heavy traffic is a joy although I still prefer steering myself under better conditions. I think most BMW drivers will feel likewise. I haven't used self-parking other than a demo in the dealer's lot but I promise to try it. I don't expect to need a lot of service - it's an EV - but at least BMW takes phone calls! The cell phone app is better than Tesla's and it's NOT the only way to schedule service. My only real objection is the location of the charge port at right-rear which will make it awkward to use short-corded Tesla Superchargers even once BMW concludes a deal with Tesla. The i4 has more "hard" controls - which I prefer for eyes-on-the-road driving - than Model S but its voice recognition commands are more limited. Its navigator has the same voice as Model S but gives more frequent bum steers. All in all, I'm very glad I made the switch. And I didn't give money to the Little Dictator who works for the Big Dictator!

We were there for a standard recall and was treated to excellent customer service from the moment we walked in the showroom until we picked up the car a couple days later.

Only 2000 miles of which 500 is highway. First positive impressions are: extraordinary quiet, impressive acceleration, above average ride and comfort. Great front and side vision. Very comfortable seats. Lots of interior room. Negatives are: incredibly complex systems to do simple things, exterior styling is an "acquired taste", rear vision is marginal. Odd door handles inside and outside. It is still too early to make a definitive assessment of this vehicle. Other than an intermittent annoying creak in the passenger window area that is hard to replicate at the dealership, the build quality seems very good. This is not a big Lexus or Mercedes sedan, but rather a very good SAV. Range is 300+ with the 21" wheels. Charging is easy and relatively fast with a good DC charger. True 11KwH on 48 amp home charger. Driver assistance package works well. Steering is a little light but no issues with the shape of the wheel. There will be some adjustment to this type of vehicle, but it has been easier than I anticipated. Registering it as an EV, leased out of state, was a frustrating experience and the extra fees for EV licensing are ridiculous.

My i4 eDrive 40 is a great car. Plenty of pep. Comfortable interior. Quality construction. GPS/Radio Controls/various interfaces ... not so good. You have to know what you are looking for, and ofter, go down too many levels to get to the proper input/output. More switches and dials would be better.

I want to remark on the exceptional, service I received at Rockville BMW. I recently decided to go from a 350 GLE to a second SUV. I test drove Porsche , Volvo, Mercedes, Audi and Range Rover. All outstanding cars. My top two choices were the Mercedes GLC and the BMW X3. I did a lot of research comparing both automobiles and found both to live up to the standards of German engineering. The service that I experienced at Rockville BMW was top-tier. I did not wander the showroom without being acknowledged. More than five people asked me if I was being helped, directed me toward refreshments and made sure that I was seen. My sales professional was Mike and he arranged my test drive efficiently and made sure I was comfortable for my test drive between the X1 and X3 automobiles. The care I received from beginning to end was outstanding. And the showroom is immaculate and I look forward to going back for service appointments. I did not feel pressured at all by Mike and it was a wonderful car buying experience. Amazing car. Was able to easily fit 300 square foot of laminate wood flooring inside with the seats folded flat. I'm going to glamp in this thing. I'm going to commute in Los Angeles, take my sister's dogs around - you name it. This thing is going to get a little dirty, hah. I'm happy it has a tow hitch as an option and roof rails available. The frunk and back trunk having storage (under the flat lift boot cover in the back) are just great for shopping and carrying around smaller items. I like that the 2023s still have the stalks because my wife and I tried the 24' Model 3 without, and we don't prefer that experience just yet. This is the best, most efficient, utilitarian, and sharp looking vehicle on the market. My only feedback is the paint could be better. I think they have the fit issues with the body panels down, and the sound dampening is a ton better in the 23's with the extra carpet that they add in the back and on the sides of the vehicle. I think to address the management of the company, Tesla is a big company. The recent Supercharger team layoffs were disappointing to hear in terms of how it was handled. However, I am excited by the prospect that the U.S.A. will have the North American Charging Standard, (NACS), as the single charging standard for Electric Vehicles going forward. NACS is much more elegant than J1772 and DCFC handles, as is the typical Supercharger location and experience. Do yourself a favor and buy into the vertically integrated EV experience with Tesla and don't worry about the public charging infrastructure that others have to deal with. That'll just be your backup option if the lines are too long at the Superchargers, or if you want a better charging rate in some rare contexts. What do I think about the CEO? I don't think about him really too much... the car speaks for itself.

Pickup is quick. Looks amazing. Maintenance and maintenance cost is negligible. For my 40K mile service done at Ford dealer my bill was $0! You read the right. Charges well and works. Heated seats and heated steering wheel in MI weather is a blessing. I have it set where it heats up the cabin & conditions the battery on its own at my departure time everyday. It is also set up, where it doesnt charge at the time when my electric company charges a premium on electricity. No issues what so ever. I love the car.

I have owned our EQS 580 for about a month. It is my third Mercedes S Class vehicle, I owned a 2007 S550 4matic and subsequently a 2017 S550 4matic that I traded for the EQS 580. In addition to the typical benefits of its superior battery electric technology, the EQS is a more powerful yet quieter, more cosseting and more serene vehicle than either of my former top of the marque Mercedes cars. I measured the actual sound level inside the EQS at 73 MPH highway speed and found that it was 3db lower than than in my 2017 S class. The back seat area is not quite so opulent or roomy as those in my former ICE S class cars, but I did not opt for the highest level rear seat appointments in the EQS because we have never used the back seat for passengers except for relatively short trips in connection with social or business engagements. Even the unadorned EQS back seat is better than that of any other high end domestic or foreign brands we have owned. Our back seat passengers to date have invariably been impressed with the surroundings and comfort of the EQS. The car's lift back design provides a prodigious cargo capacity that makes it easy to pack for vacations or trips with large items. Even without lowering the rear seats, the practical capacity of the area behind the rear seat is substantially larger and more accessible than the cargo area of our Lexus SUV. The precise steering and excellent Level 2 driver assist capabilities of the EQS make driving a very easy and relaxing experience. The lack of shift points and the excellent one pedal driving capabilities of the car make operating it very satisfying. At first, the brake pedal feels a little odd when the car is in its maximum regeneration mode, but it's easy to get used to the feel, and the brakes are excellent. As with the S580, the EQS has 10 degrees of rear wheel steering that gives the vehicle a surprisingly small turning circle. It's too early to assess reliability of my EQS, but my previous ICE S550s were extremely reliable for a total of more than 200,000 aggregate miles, so I don't anticipate any problems. The onboard software, including the range planning software and the phone app, is excellent, and the hyper screen map display is unequaled. The controls, head up display and voice command system are essentially the same as those in the 2022 Mercedes S580. I opted for the augmented reality head up display, and I am very pleased with it. I am learning to drive for maximum range, and my average combined energy use so far over 1735 miles has been 327.5 wH/mile for a combined range of about 329 miles with full summer climate control engaged. Recently, I have learned to drive so as to increase the combined highway/city range to about 365 miles (295 wH/mile). The EPA range estimate is 340 miles (317 wH/mile) Edmunds got 422 miles on a full charge (255 wH/mile) in an EQS 450+, and I am working toward that goal. It will be interesting to manage the expected 20% reduction for winter range. High speed charging on the road is very fast on a 100 kW DC charger. The car will accept up to a 200 kW DC charge rate. I have charged the car on a Level 2 AC charger at about 9kW and a Level 1 charger at about 1.4 kW. The Level 1 charging is quite slow (ca. 4.5 miles/charging hour), but it is adequate in a pinch. I replaced the portable charger that came with the car with a Shell portable 40 Amp charger with a NEMA 14-50 to NEMA 5-15 adapter that will function as a level 1 or as a level 2 charger. I would not order the Mercedes charger and would apply the money toward the Shell charger if I had to do it over. Of course, the EQS 580 is very expensive, costing about as much as a similarly equipped S580, but such is the cost of top of the marque excellence. The EQS moves the Mercedes S class experience up to the next level and portends well for the continued dominance of S class luxury in our new world of electric vehicles.

Driving from Warrenton to NC, our E350 chk engine light came on and the car lost power. Stopped car, restarted it, and the problem disappeared. Pulled into Huber Service w/o an appointment to get a diagnosis. They checked the faults, concluded it was a spark plug missfire. Didn't charge us anything. Didn't try to sell us anything. Excellent service. Trustworthy. First rate.
