I bought mine used in 2014 with 65k miles and now it has 225k miles, original engine, transmission, and battery. No issues. Still going strong.

For an AWD it gets great gas mileage, it's light design means you can go places heavier vehicles will struggle. It has excellent sight lines that makes sighting traffic easy and safe. Only bad thing is it is a Ford and Ford has awful dealership service, that is also very expensive in my experience from owning this vehicle. Good for off-roading and for commuting both around town and on the highway!

Great ride, quiet, fast, fuel efficient, comfortable, easy to drive with tight turn radius, great visibility, it's a smaller SUV that surpassed my expectations. I hate Ford's and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality.

I owned one for 10 years and I did NOT have to do anything except normal Maintenace until the tenth year. The heater/air-conditioning had a problem, they took the whole thing out, had the vehicle for 3 days, and when I picked it up there were two bolts in the center consul, and I decided it was time to move on, so I traded it in with 10 or 20 thousand miles on it for a Ford Fusion Titanium Hybrid. All the time I owned the 2009 Escape I was pleased with it.

I bought a 2008 escape hybrid from a government auction-it was used as a fire department vehicle in Denver Colorado. The hybrid version is the best in snow and bad weather due to its extra battery weight of 300lbs over the rear tires. Overall I haven’t had any real issues except for having to replace the hybrid battery that you can get a rebuilt better than oem for a fraction of what ford would charge to replace. This vehicle is awesome and will go just about anywhere and is good on gas for an suv.

We live in Minnesota metro area and were looking for a late model Ford Explorer. Timber Ford had one that we loved and it was priced below what we were seeing in the MN Metro area. We dealt with Michelle B. as our sales person and another Michelle with their finance department. We loved the entire experience and both Michelle's. Our sales person took videos of the vehicle for us and emailed them to us. When we saw the vehicle in person it was exactly as advertised. It was the smoothest vehicle purchase I've been part of. Ford Escape hybrid is reliable and a cost-efficient overall to own vehicle. My son has one and I've had three. I drive one now with great success buy one find one get one. I have had no problems with my 2008 and believe if you drive normally and perform regular maintenance that you will get many years and miles of use.

Just hit 300,000 miles. Bought new 2005. This is first major work I've ever done it. New motor goes in soon. Good maintenance, brakes, tires tune ups and oil changes. Don't like new escape, not enough interior room for dog crate. Not sure how long I'll hang onto it after new, used motor goes in, at 90,000 probably not long.

At my age I have dealt with a lot of car dealerships. My buying experience here has to be one of the best. They weren't the cheapest I looked at but were the best value. Everything about this purchase was excellent, plus I love the car.

This was my first car, and I’m honestly looking for another one. I got into a car accident where a pickup truck hit my corner and ended up flipping me and my two passengers upside down. We all walked out with little to no injuries.

The car looks great 7800 + miles price was right - but found a defective spoiler the convertible roof doesn’t operate noisy windshield squealing noise middle air vents (no heat or air) bottom line for only 57000 + miles it has some issues

Very excited as our sons first car. We went to a few places and no other place was as willing to help meet our needs. The car fits all of our expectations and then some, could not be more happy.

Upon arriving I parked my vehicle and was immediately greeted by a serviceman. He asks what was the.purpose of visit I eexplained it was time for 5,000 miles maintenance check He then showed me the waiting room . I was offered snacks like coffee and other ITEMS. The staff was friendly. I has a weight time of almost ab hour and half because there were many cars waiting to be serviced. Wait time was not bad. Good service.

Bought from a local dealer. It reached 200 miles with no issue. Gets 45 in city when a/c is off. Highway mpg is around 35.

We bought the Titanium option. It is stylish and very easy to get into. Even in engine mode, the car is quiet. All the safety options are great for young and old alike. .

Over-priced car. Sales person very persistent. Very far away from my residence. Not sure if I am interested or not. Have owned three other Mustangs already.

This is my 2nd Escape Hybrid (previous one was a previous-generation 2006) that I have well over 100K miles. It is comfortable to drive, serves my every SUV versatile need, and gives me great CITY mileage for a 4x4 SUV. Although it lacks some of the tech bells & whistles that have come to grace cars in the years since this was built, I still love driving it. It was sad to see that they stopped making it after 2012, and am not going to know what to try next when the day comes for me to get my next vehicle. Ford's excuse was that the "new" Escape with EcoBoost gets nearly as good mileage as the hybrid did, but they're talking highway, and almost all my driving is city. I hope that a future generation will bring back the hybrid, hopefully with an Energi (plug-in) version also.

It runs nice and looks clean if u take care of it. Its a hybrid so it gets very good gas milage. Great overall car

I have owned three Ford Escape Hybrids - a 2006, 2010 and now a 2011. I absolutely adore these vehicles - the gasoline/hybrid option provide for amazing MPG (especially w/city driving) and the vehicle is comparable with everything currently on the market. I am extremely sad that they no longer make the Escape in a hybrid version, and will ultimately likely have to switch over to Nissan hybrids after this one, but until then, I ADORE my Ford Escape Hybrid.
