New and used 2025 Ford Explorer SUVs for sale near Sonterra, TX

I purchased a certified vehicle from Mac Haik Ford in Georgetown, TX as an out of state buyer. During my interactions with the Mac Haik Ford staff, they were very responsive to my questions and provide more than enough information that I felt confident in the used vehicle that I was considering. Besided the frequent communications with my Sales Rep, Geraldo Holguin, the General Manager followed up to ensure my inquiries were being addressed. When I made the commitment to purchase, I coordinated a same day round trip flight to Texas to see the vehicle in person and complete the transaction. Because I did not want to drive the vehicle for 13 hrs, Geraldo put me in touch with Montway AutoTransport to arrange delivery. Overall, I purchased a certified vehicle on Friday, Montway picked up the vehicle in Texas on Monday, and the vehicle was in my driveway in Georgia on Wednesday.

Driving experience is great. Either engine is plenty of power but even the base 2.3l is very fast. Rear wheel drive bias is noticeable in driving dynamics making it fun to drive. The new Google based infotainment system one of the best in the industry in my opinion.. Almost don't even need a phone with how smart it is. Blue cruise is very convenient for long monotonous highway drives if equipped

This Explorer replaces a 2017 I loved. That car is still in the family. The Platinum Edition is fabulous, lots of bells and whistles. I choose to turn off the lane management system. It is somewhat aggravating. The automatic on off at stoplights can be irritating when you have a lot of stoplights. I will turn this feature off when I’m in traffic at a lot of lights. Otherwise, I keep it on. There is a great deal of new technology on the vehicle which is located on the center screen. It was not hard to learn, and although I’ve had this vehicle for a month I’m still learning a few things. This vehicle is a six seater with heated and ventilated seats. The back windows have screens, which is great when your transporting little children and anyone else the seats also have an automatic fold. This car will move quickly great pick up and even with a new car around town, I’m getting 20 1/half miles per gallon on regular gas. Although being a six seater, it is not too big. I had looked at a jeep which ran a good $13,000 more for the same features. The new body style on the Jeep was not appealing to a family member so we stuck with the Ford.

Mr.Johnny B. Is the greatest he truly was amazing and helped me after I was having one of the most difficult times finding a car after an unfortunate hit and run incident. This is my third Explorer…and this time I chose the Platinum edition. The exterior is about the same but with some very tasteful updates to the rear taillights and front grill. The interior is dramatically improved with a variety of materials used throughout. The larger touchscreen is easy to use. This is the first Android based platform and it is easy to use and worked seamlessly with Apple CarPlay. The Blue Cruise auto-driving feature is very impressive- and once you get over the hesitation of letting the car steer itself is very useful especially on long interstate trips. All in all this is the best Explorer I’ve had.

The 12 volt battery in my 2023 Ford Mach-e needed replacing. They sent a technician to our house and he replaced the battery. Their service was excellent!

Repairs were not done in a timely manner. Parts were at another location. Took two days to get them and was repaired on the 3rd day

After looking for weeks at Toyota RAV4's (used), I thought I found the one I wanted at Covert. Less than a mile into the test drive I knew it was NOT! Sales person, Lucia, zeroed in on my needs if I were to purchase now rather than yr from now at end of my lease. They had seven autos that met the reasons to get serious about purchasing now. As this was a high end loaner there were a number of items that needed updating and every one necessary got involved up to the General Manager overseeing the process. This is my 9th different dealership in the last 25+ yrs involving higher end auto sales and Mac Haik is second to none.
