Used 2024 Ford F-150 trucks for sale near Dumbarton, VA

I came in looking for f-150s, specifically one that could haul my horses/trailer. I was met with an extremely knowledgeable staff who walked me through the whole process. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. The entire shopping experience was done on an ipad, so we built the deal together. Will totally come back even though I am a 2hr drive away.

Missed my 2016 F150 which I sold, was waiting for prices to come down to get back into one. 2024 clearance was heavily discounted, and I love it. 2.7 twin turbo still delivers, comfort is amazing and cabin is quiet. Love all the new technology and screen.

First time I went in, was just looking to see what was on the lot and was greeted, and after that, not another contact with anyone. When I came back to test drive a few vehicles, got a great sales guy. Overall selection of vehicles is quite nice, and most of the vehicles are almost new to very good condition. Though Carmax likes to display the image they sell cars that have or haven't had any issues, you'll find you'll need to look closer. Most are bought at auction after coming off lease or from being a fleet vehicle. Which is a good thing, as you the regular maintenance was done on them and often the vehicles have original warranties still in effect depending on what vehicle you are looking for and what year. The sales guy was low pressure, and when I came in the next day to buy, I was given another one since he was completing a sale on another customer. Wasn't an issue, as he or the guy that took over were truly "car" guys. The liked cars, had sales experience, but weren't "car" guys. The experience was good overall, but the highlight was completing the deal. Paperwork was done quickly (I had preapproval from my credit union with EFT) and finished the paperwork in about twenty minutes. Amazing, got the vehicle at just an average price, but go the mileage I wanted, with original warranty and extended warranty at the price I was willing to pay. SO overall, win for me, and though I was never a Carmax fan (still rubs me the wrong way their colors are almost best buy colors when their parent company was circuit city....). But I will say my mind was changed.

I am super pleased with my truck. I went from a Nissan Frontier SV, which was the best truck I had ever purchased new (built like a tank but way more reliable) to a first time Ford buyer. I had never bought a ford due to feeling they were over priced. Be that as it may I was never going to buy another GM product. So it was either another Nissan or a Ford. I went with the F150 because of the gas mileage. I have already put 10k miles on it and am super pleased with the fuel efficiency. I think I now see why they are priced a little more than the competition.

In the distant past I had a negative experience with Ford. And was certain I would never purchase that make again. I bought a Ford Fusion over a year ago, and haven't regretted my decision at all. Especially because of the customer service. I recently purchased new tires, and get an alignment done. Though I wasn't excited about spending the money, the service was excellent. Ask for Carmen McDonald if you need service done. She is very pleasant. And any question you have, she takes time, does the research, and gives you intelligent suggestions. My husband and I had been looking for a very specific Ford F-150. We found it online at this dealership and traveled over 130 miles to complete the purchase and trade. The process was seamless, the price for the new truck and the offer for our trade was very fair. The salespeople were very knowledgeable and responsive. We haven't bought a new vehicle since 1992 (typically purchase used). We would not hesitate to travel back to this dealership for a future purchase.

My husband and I saw the car we had spent weeks looking for in their online inventory, but we were over 10 hours away by car. I want to express my appreciation to James Lynch Bill Talley Ford for helping me through a maintenance issue I had experience with my 2013 Ford Focus. My vehicle had been in the shop before because of my driver side window not rolling up and the motor had gone bad. It was replaced a year ago. Unfortunately, I had experience the same situation a month ago. When I did get my car to Ford I was told that it was not under warranty and that I would have to pay out of pocket just to have it looked at. I paid for my car to be looked at to get the same report as before, the motor went bad. I called James Lynch who had sold me Ford cars in the past and told him my didisappointment with Ford and that they need to stand behind their work. James told me to allow him to see what he could do and within a half an hour my car will be covred by Ford. I am so happy that dealers like James did not just sell me a car, he showed me compassion and concern as a friend. Thank you James for keeping me in business with Ford.

THE dealership was kind and supportive. They alleviated me of my fears about the credit and buying process. They were not condescending and answered my questions about the new technology on cars. I am 68 years old and a woman so a lot of the new advances on cars, I am not familiar with. These guys are the kindest and most patient people I have dealt with. Services are prompt and also private if need be.

I had an issue at my last oil change. JD called me and took care of everything without me even asking. It involved ordering a part and calling me when it came in to have it replaced. He did exactly what he said he would do. I very much appreciate him taking the time to fix my issue, and treating me as a valued customer. Not many places do that these days and its much appreciated. I will continue to have my Explorer serviced at this location.
