Very good experience overall, we were disappointed that there was no wiggle room on a $40,000 car, not even $50. The young man that sold us our car was excellent. We did have a problem in that They messed up our paperwork a little bit, but they were very quick to rectify it. I would say maybe pick a different dealership if you?d like to barter a little bit otherwise it was a good experience for us.

I made an appointment to drop the vehicle there Wednesday at 5:00 PM with the A/C not cooling. Victor was our service coordinator and told us he would advise us asap Thursday. Since I didn't hear from Victor by noon, I called but had to leave a message. I then received a text with the diagnosis and cost to evacuate the system then refill it with dye added bc they couldn't find a leak. I okayed the service. He said it could be ready Thursday afternoon, but he didn't call,so I called and Yvi said victor had left for the day, but he did call a little later and advised the tech wanted to keep the vehicle overnight and recharge the system Friday morning. We didn't hear anything all day, so we decided to come to the dealership and see. They told us they wanted to check one more thing(I suspect it was what they were supposed to do that morning) so we waited another hour or so for it. My wife finally got her vehicle around 4:00 PM. The A/C was blowing really cold and no leak was detected. If the system gets low again, the dye will show where the leak is. We're happy with everything except that Victor wasn't getting back with us. I was in the car business for 32 years and customer service is the key to retaining customers. I spoke to Darren who said he'd dumped some xtra customers on Victor, so I'll give him credit for that. Plus being relatively new to the job, I'm sure he as doing his best! I've had ALL my service done at Platinum Ford since I retired from there in '18, and they've always done great work! Thank you, Adam, Gary, Darren, and all!

Platinum Ford is the dealership we always use in our area. We have tried others, but have been disappointed. The thechnicians at Platinum Ford are competent and courteous. They always give us a call to keep us informed of any issues and to get consent before proceeding. Kyle is our designated “service manager” and he is top knotch!

Tom Caufield was AMAZING! He helped me purchase a car for my mom who lives in Texas while I was in Virginia. He went above and beyond, taking the car for my mom to test drive, helping me through the loan process, and finally dropping the car off to my mom in spectacular condition. I dealt with about 7-10 dealerships prior to working with Tom and no other dealership was willing to go the extra mile to ensure that my elderly mother was accommodated while I was hundreds of miles away. The whole process took about two weeks and the entire time he was nothing but patient and always available to answer all of my questions. I am very happy with the detailing of my vehicle. It looks like a brand new vehicle now. The valet service was great. My truck was picked up early and delivered back to my home on time. I will definitely recommend this service to others.

He called me later that afternoon. After that very calm conversation, he gave me very solid reassurances that a different Ford dealership had lied to me about some things.. I already had pre approved financing at my credit union, so this was a fairly straight forward process. Mel made this process so easy. I'm not a youngster with no experience. I know how this process should go. This was not my first truck buying experience. Mel is a true professional and an asset to not only his profession, but to Five Star Ford. I came in to have the oil changed in my 2019 Mustang. I ended up buying a new car. David was FANTASTIC!! This is my 5th Mustang and the 3rd purchased from David McDavid.

My wife's 2017 Edge Titanium needed service because the "wrench" light came on. Dropped it off and met with Odie Terry, our Service Advisor. Odie informed us that it will be a day or 2 before a tech could get to it because they are always so busy. Odie called me a couple of days later and said the battery wasn't getting enough volts to the sensors, creating numerous error codes. Replaced the battery and one code came back as a torque converter issue. Once we found out they would be keeping it awhile Odie arranged a rental car for us. Turns out the transmission needed a complete overhaul. Thank God for the 5 year/60k mile power train warranty, which covered everything! Took about a week but once we got it back it drove like a dream! Odie called me every 2 days to give me a progress report. He made what was a major inconvenience much more bearable. It's nice to know there's a dealership close to us we can totally trust to service our Edge and do everything right. Hats off to you Odie Terry, you are a true professional and an outstanding ambassador to the Ford Motor Company!
