I own a 2014 F150 Lariat. Has a 3.5 liter eco boost. I have 157000 miles , had a few minor issues but has been fantastic. Do all the things you need to do to maintain it. Put Lucas auto treatment monthly. Love my truck, I would highly recommend.

I was searching for a specific vehicle and I found a few on cars.com. 2020 F-150 Super Cab 2.7L Ecoboost, 10 speed transmission. At first I was concerned since I've never had a truck with a small V6. I was looking for good HP and good MPG. I liked the sporty trim STX look. Great acceleration and great MPG. Much better than my previous 2006 F-150 5.4L, which was a great truck, but it was time for a change. I do recommend this vehicle if you want MPG, power, and great towing capacity.

Original owner of a 2014 F150 XLT 5.0L engine, short bed. I use it for lots of towing, hauling and long distance driving and it's frequently exposed to harsh environments from chemical refineries to heavy snow and salt. I've done regular oil changes and tire rotations on this truck up to 130k miles. Experienced zero major problems. The only issues with towing are the length of trailer which does push the vehicle around some (driving at recommended speeds of 65mph or less solves this). The tow mode conflicts with the cruise control feature (do not use cruise for hills). Completing recommended maintenance and tuneups makes a notable difference in engine and tow performance. The only parts I've had to replace aside from glass have been a battery, AC blower vent doors with actuators. The full leather interior has held up extremely well with front seat protectors (slight abrasions on driver seat). Console only shows wear with the power button for the heat/AC. Exterior has no rust except a normal even patina in wheel wells (original exhaust good).

First off, when someone says the truck drives and rides horrible, did they not know we are entitled to test drive the truck first before purchasing. I love my 2023 Ford F150 XLT crew/camper package 6.5' box so far. Put about 5000 miles on it. Purchased used with low mileage. It has all the bells and whistles except for leather seats. Rides great, quiet, and more technology than I'll probably ever use. Endless supply of power with the 3.5 engine and all around mileage about 18-20 and 22-23 on the highway. I liked my 2012 Lariat but mileage was 14.5 all around. I test drove a Dodge and Chevy, but I like the feel of the Ford truck with Dodge a very close second. Chevy feels like the frame is weak and flexes over bumps.

This is a great truck. Good acceleration, towing, and four-wheel drive. I am definitely a Ford lover now. Can't go wrong with this truck. Mine is a 5.0L and can't find a fault with it after four years of ownership.

I should have gotten a 4 wheel drive to begin with. Traded in a 2018 F-150 STX 2X4 that was a nice truck but this is definitely an upgrade! The 3.5L accelerates quickly (beware leadfoot!) and pulls much easier than the 2.7L I traded away. Little difference in fuel mileage (I'm averaging around 1.4 mpg less with the larger engine) but worth the trade off. The interior is loaded with power, heated seats (both), upgraded navigation system and better quality stereo system. Heated mirrors and sliding rear window are a nice touch. This is my first 4X4 and it was really surprised at the torque output pulling out a couple of small trees and hauling away a 65' pine we had cut down. Much easier and more powerful than the 2.7L offered! Got it with low mileage and a pretty decent trade-in deal too. Think I'll keep it until the wheels fall off!

Bought a Fusion from Jesse Guajardo yesterday. Great truck, I have no issues with this truck. Occasionally the Snyc screen freezes up. Acceleration is excellent. Highway MPG is 23 Local is around 12 mpg. Mixed City Highway is 15 mpg

I felt a connection on a personal level like we had known each other for a long time but we just met. We like the same music and he made me laugh. Lariat model. 3.5 ecoboost engine. Great vehicle. Lots of extras. 4wd works well in OBX sand. I converted from chevy silverado. Ford won me over.

Bought my truck used in 2016 with 69k miles one owner vehicle currently pushing 122k. Only major issue has been the replacement of the break pump, great on gas plenty of torque have hauled a Bob Cat in the past with no issues. Love my truck!

I have had absolutely no issues with my pickup, F150 Eco. It isn't the greatest on mileage, probably in the area of 17 but I'm not complaining. I'll say this, when I'm driving 65 and have to pass on a 2 lane road and I kick it down, it gets up there immediately. Not one issue with the engine. I just spun 39,000 on it.

My 2007 Mercedes CLS550 had a complicated engine problem. So expensive that I drove it from California to Phoenix for repairs. As an out-of-state walk-in customer I feel I could really have been taken advantage of. I own a 2014 f150 xlt super crew 4x4 with the 3.5 Ecoboost, tow package, off road package, and this is by far the best all around working mans truck to say the least. ford fixed some issues that came with the 2011-2012 3.5 engines and did a fantastic job with the 2013-2014's. pros: can tow up too 12,000 lbs "ive pushed it past that but not recommended'. the 3.5 has 2 borgewarner 1.18 liter turbos that really give it that extra get up but also great fuel milage when your foot is not in it. i have an SCT X4 5 star 91 octane tune on mine and let me tell you, not any chevy 5.3- 6.0 or 6.2 or ram 5.7- 6.4 can compete with it performance or tow wise. also note, i do not beat this truck, it is my daily driver but i do use it for what its meant to do, tow, work, 4x4 ect. if you add performance parts i highly recommend you know what your doing. keep up with the maintenance and it will last forever. Now the CONS- cheap interior plastic design compared to other competitors trucks, can run regular gas but its recommended to use mid grade or premium for all around fuel efficiency and engine life, do not use engine fuel/ octane boosters! all aluminum engine is good but bad if it runs to hot for to long as your heads will warp. rough ride compared to other trucks. other than that this truck is as solid as they come. (2014 was the last year the f150 had a steel body) they went to aluminum bodys/frames in 2015
