My 5L, 2018 F150 keeps having problems with coils. Since there is one per cylinder and the cost of replacing one is quite high. This has become a problem. I love my truck, but this gives me cause to consider GMC next time.

This is the third F150 I have owned, by far the best, 60,000 miles have not had to fix anything, Did brakes and tires around 55k, limousine quiet inside, 5.0. l coyote engine has impressive power and decent mileage

I own a 2014 F150 Lariat. Has a 3.5 liter eco boost. I have 157000 miles , had a few minor issues but has been fantastic. Do all the things you need to do to maintain it. Put Lucas auto treatment monthly. Love my truck, I would highly recommend.

I use to own a 2003 f150 for 18 years it was great except for fuel milage, when I purchased this truck in 2024 , the rear window leaks but only when it rains hard, overall I refuse to drive any other truck.

I bought my 2012 F150 FX4 Ecoboost brand new in February 2012. I currently have 64k miles on it. I have never had a mechanical issue with it. Regular preventative maintenance has kept it very reliable. It has a comfortable and quiet ride for a truck. I have towed 3 different campers with it ranging from 5k-8k pounds. The Ecoboost easily handles the towing with plenty of HP and torque. Just don't expect great gas mileage while towing, 7-9mph. Without towing on the highway, I can average 19mph. For a half ton truck, I tow my 35ft camper with no concerns. It's a comfortable commuter truck too. I love my truck!

I own a 2015 F150 Lariat with the 5.0. Love every aspect of this truck. That 302 with 3.73 gears is a beast!! Excellent accelelation, towing, and overall comfort. Not having to worry about rusted body panels is another big plus.

I had a great experience with this dealer. Even though they were busy they never left me waiting and went out of there way to make it a speedy deal. Visited on a Friday, gave a down payment to hold the car and did the paperwork. Came back on Saturday and about a half hour I was driving away with my car!! These two guys went over and beyond!! Original owner of a 2014 F150 XLT 5.0L engine, short bed. I use it for lots of towing, hauling and long distance driving and it's frequently exposed to harsh environments from chemical refineries to heavy snow and salt. I've done regular oil changes and tire rotations on this truck up to 130k miles. Experienced zero major problems. The only issues with towing are the length of trailer which does push the vehicle around some (driving at recommended speeds of 65mph or less solves this). The tow mode conflicts with the cruise control feature (do not use cruise for hills). Completing recommended maintenance and tuneups makes a notable difference in engine and tow performance. The only parts I've had to replace aside from glass have been a battery, AC blower vent doors with actuators. The full leather interior has held up extremely well with front seat protectors (slight abrasions on driver seat). Console only shows wear with the power button for the heat/AC. Exterior has no rust except a normal even patina in wheel wells (original exhaust good).

Paid off, Now the Heater doesn’t work, Left wiper arm fell off in the rain. Shifter knocks/Clunks, Otherwise reliable truck. Need heating to work please.

Specifically ordered the truck new and have been extremely pleased with every aspect of the vehicle. Reliable, comfortable and great fuel economy for the 3.5 Ecoboost motor. Towing a large bbq smoker is a breeze. All the electronics and remote features are extremely reliable. I upgraded the lighting to LED last year making night driving much easier. Love this truck for long trips as the comfort level is amazing! Styling is the first year of the newer design which has carried through to subsequent years. It survived a Cat 5 hurricane with minor damage. Paint has held up incredibly well in the Florida sun. It still gets compliments to this day.

I own a 2014 f150 xlt super crew 4x4 with the 3.5 Ecoboost, tow package, off road package, and this is by far the best all around working mans truck to say the least. ford fixed some issues that came with the 2011-2012 3.5 engines and did a fantastic job with the 2013-2014's. pros: can tow up too 12,000 lbs "ive pushed it past that but not recommended'. the 3.5 has 2 borgewarner 1.18 liter turbos that really give it that extra get up but also great fuel milage when your foot is not in it. i have an SCT X4 5 star 91 octane tune on mine and let me tell you, not any chevy 5.3- 6.0 or 6.2 or ram 5.7- 6.4 can compete with it performance or tow wise. also note, i do not beat this truck, it is my daily driver but i do use it for what its meant to do, tow, work, 4x4 ect. if you add performance parts i highly recommend you know what your doing. keep up with the maintenance and it will last forever. Now the CONS- cheap interior plastic design compared to other competitors trucks, can run regular gas but its recommended to use mid grade or premium for all around fuel efficiency and engine life, do not use engine fuel/ octane boosters! all aluminum engine is good but bad if it runs to hot for to long as your heads will warp. rough ride compared to other trucks. other than that this truck is as solid as they come. (2014 was the last year the f150 had a steel body) they went to aluminum bodys/frames in 2015

The clock spring is broken and switches dont work they have lots of tk with this problem, think they should be fixed on a recall.

STX 4X4 crew cab 2.7 eco. Bought new in Sept 2018. Overall, this truck has been very reliable, albeit a few issues. I’ll list them.. 1st thing was the transmission would slam from 3rd to 4th or 5th gear. Was fixed under warranty with a software re-flash. Then the rear brakes at 30K miles. I ended up doing a brake upgrade all around. It was a huge improvement in performance.. hope they last longer. Then the wiper switch followed by the ACIM for the sync system. That’s it in 6 years. All Maintenance has been kept up with and I've had zero engine issues. I’m at 66000 miles. Comfort on long trips is great and the truck continues to track straight with ease. I replaced the worn tires at 62000 miles with larger Nitto Ridge grapplers which have definitely decreased mpg and acceleration performance but look and perform amazingly in snow. I wouldn’t hesitate on buying another.
