An Excellent and Pain Free Car Purchase Experience

I had the very same experience as so many others had at So. Easton Motors Sales, Inc. Purchasing the car was so easy and seamless. I had looked at their website and found four cars that interested me before going. When I arrived, I was greeted by Derek (the owner) and showed him the list. All four cars were available and he told me that I could take each one out for a test drive for as long as I wanted. I looked at the cars and was interested in two: A VW Passat and a Nissan Altima. He handed me the keys and I took the Altima for a drive and liked it very much. (The VW was a bit too small for me.) When I returned and walked back into the office-Derek asked me what I thought and (in a nutshell) I picked up the car on August 31st. Absolutely no pressure. I had set criteria for the purchase before I began the process of looking for a used car. 1.) The retailer had to have good/excellent reviews. 2.) The car price had to be at or below my price point. 3.) The car had to be a model/make I was interested in and be in good/excellent condition. 4.) The car had to be a 2015 or newer and have less than 40k miles. 5.) The sale price had to be within the parameters of the Kelly Blue Book value. 6.) The interest rate for financing had to be at or below 4%. So. Easton Motor Sales met/exceeded every one of my criteria. I had arrived on the lot at about 9:30 a.m. and walked out at 11:00 a.m. with the exact car I wanted at the price I was willing to pay with financing below the rate I wanted to pay. (I do have an excellent credit rating.) Derek took care of everything-all I had to do is write a check for the down-payment and call my insurance company. I went back a few days later and picked up the car from Eric. Couldn???t have been easier. I feel that I was treated very fairly and that I purchased a quality car that I look forward to driving for the next several years. Nov. 16, 2018: Addendum to original review: I discovered the defrost function on the rear window was not working. I called So. Easton and they said with no hesitation-bring the car in and we'll take care of it. Brought the car in and they had it fixed that day. Turned out-it was never connected at the factory. I bought the car in August-so, there was no way this could've been known by So. Easton or at the time I bought the car. So. Easton stands behind their warranty and the cars they sell. Proof that So. Easton Motors is an auto dealer with integrity. Very, very pleased with everything. I highly recommend this dealer.

The van drives smooth. Decent interior. Like the cage! Make sure you put studded snow tires on for Winter! Spacious in front and roomy in back.

This dealership was a surprising change to experience compared with many others I have been to previously. There was a great range of cars for just about any budget or purpose, from small sedans to big trucks. Information was available on all the cars I was interested in, I was allowed to test drive all the ones I wanted to and all without the usual pressure from salespeople. The purchasing process was super smooth and they handled nearly all the paperwork. The car was well serviced before I purchased, (and I've seen the work they do in their servicing area). Even when I drove away I was still able to go back or contact the guys regarding any questions I may have had. Overall this was a hugely less stressful experience than when I have bought cars in the past. My wife will be looking for a newer car in 2019 and this will be the first place we'll go to look.

I use this for a service business. The only issue I have is that maybe they could make a more comfortable seat. I drive several hours sometimes could really use some extra comfort there. Other than that I could not be happier with this van. Handles great maneuvers great easy to drive.

No BS! That's what I asked for when I walked through the door at Colonial Ford a few weeks ago. After over a month of research deciding on the right truck, checking prices, dealer inventory, etc. I finally decided I better go drive one to make sure... It just so happened the day before I received an email from Dwight Coblazo inviting me in to check out the F-150 I had inquired about on their website. He told me to ask for Winston Bennett, so I did. While I was waiting for Winston, I got hooked up with Art Guertin and he quickly went to work locating the vehicle for me and getting a plate on it. I chatted with Winston for a bit and told me I was in good hands with Art and he'd take care of me. Boy was he right, Art was the perfect match! See, while I asked for no BS, I'm kind of a PIA when it comes to getting all my questions answered and making sure I'm getting a good deal. Looking back, this was my very first brand new car buying experience and quite an education. Art took it all in stride and there was never any pressure. In fact I put a few $ down to hold the vehicle while I thought about it, couldn't make up my mind after 24 hours and they refunded my money no questions asked, no pressure. A week or so later after texting questions back and forth with Art (and checking several other dealerships who all fell way short of my Colonial experience), I finally decided to pull the trigger. I knew it was a great deal, the truck (thankfully) hadn't been sold, Art went above and beyond to make me comfortable and worked closely with Dell Roderick to get me into a buying program that worked for me and my budget...they really delivered! I sat down with Shane Conroy to finalize the paperwork, he did his job and went over all of the "extras" that come up at the end. He answered my questions honestly about what I might need and might not, I never once felt like I was being put over on. I trusted his experience and opinion. In fact in the end, I can say that about everyone at Colonial. I trusted them, their experience and I believed their answers when I asked the question "what would you do?" For my money, I couldn't ask for anything more in a buying experience. When the truck was ready Art called me and offered to deliver it if that was more convenient but I decided to go pick it up (for the full new car experience). Dwight, checked in to make sure my experience at the dealership was nothing short of excellent. I'm pretty sure I shook everyone's hand and thanked them at least twice. Art, went through the truck with me one last time to answer any questions, reviewed the technology with me and helped me Sync my phone. Last, with a warm smile and a firm handshake he sent me on my way with a full tank of gas and an appointment for my first oil change on the house. Truth be told, I haven't stopped smiling since then cruising around in my brand new F-150 XLT So while I never got an BS from Colonial I realize I served up plenty. I'll be forever grateful and most definitely a repeat customer for their patience, honesty and graciousness with me.

The service of the explorer took about 1 1/2 weeks. But that being said the company called me several times saying it is being worked on and will call soon with results. The car came home driving like it was brand new. The office people were very kind as well as the mgr of service
