I bought this vehicle in December of 2023, and I have been pleased with the performance and the room inside the car. The boot (trunk) has lots of space. The silver paint with the black wheels looks really sharp. The best appeal for me to purchase this vehicle is that it's reported to rarely need to be in the shop for repairs. It's always been my experience that if you take care of your vehicle then it will perform well.

Overall, if you're looking for a step above any Mustang, this is it. But you have to understand what you're buying. The 5.2 Voodoo engine is an engineering masterpiece, no other Ford engine sounds close to it. It is a review happy engine, but you need to put your head in that of a racing driver, not a regular commuter. Oil level, temperature and pressure are all items that need to be checked prior to ringing out this motor for all its goodness. The suspension is harsh compared to a typical Mustang, but it's liveable. These cars were only offered in a 6 speed manual, so that "automatically" removes it from many people's lists. All in all, it's a driver's car, it's special and if you understand that and get the chance to drive one, you won't be sorry.

Always loved ford. Had two rangers which were gas pigs but they would go through any cold Canadian winter with ease. Had a jeep which gave me not alot of issues but one major electrical issue. My situation must have been the most difficult situation ever at a Carmax, even though it was tough and the Managers and Myself got frustrated at times Ed, Dave, Eric, and Chris (Carmax Charleston Managers) never gave up on me and worked hard to make this thing happen. I came to them looking for my dream car, the Mitsubishi Lancer RalliArt or Evolution on a limited budget. They found the vehicle and brought it in, I bought the vehicle and there were a few problems with it, the guys took the car back no questions asked and found another one, even though there were some other issues that occured the Management staff at Carmax stuck by me and helped me make it happen. I bought a brandnew 2023 Ford Bronco Black Diamond 2.7L with Sasquatch packaje in November 2024, there are no complains up to now, it runs better than I expected and is very comfortable inside. Acceleration is also better than expected in spite of 35 inches factory tires, I love it.

Went into the Carmax store just to look for a car for future purchase. I was greet immediately by Mr. Carl R Emery and from there things went smoothly. We asked about cars and he talk to us a little about them and told us to have a look and call on him if we need to look in, test drive or just ask question about any of the vehicles. We end up buying a car! Customer service was great and now we will have to drive the car for a little while before I will make any comments. OVERALL the experience.

This car checks all of the boxes for a full size SUV. Its towing capacity is tops for all SUV’s! It seats seven adults comfortably and fuel economy is the best for full size SUV’s. GREAT VEHICLE!

I purchased used '22 Escape SE AWD two years old, low mileage and delighted with my dealer purchase. Upon extensive research, I was aware the loss of market value, which is why I purchased used. This vehicle is produced in volume as 'low-end' entry among 22 field competitors. Yes, there are several vehicles out there higher rated, more expensive, but my research validated highest cargo storage - highest mpg, for the reasonable market price. You can benefit from this depreciation by buying used! Some complain of the transmission, or slow pickup, or passenger door side panels. I have had no issues after 20,000 miles 6/2024 and get 31.3 mpg combined which is stellar!! A great value for the used car price-not new price. I would recommend as a reasonable value, HIGH capacity SUV can accommodate 4 airport passengers full size luggage is my first Ford of 21 cars purchased. Styling is very attractive, good assortment of safety features. Rear seats slide for extended passenger or cargo capacity.

Service department at Carmax superceded my expectations! Called to have a service done on my Nissan and they were able to accommodate my tight schedule even though they did explain their schedules were tight as well. The amount of time I waited was far less than any dealer I've ever been to, and Dave in the service department greeted me by name and wore a smile until I left! They even washed my car for me and let me know if there was anything I needed to not hesitate to give them a call.

Purchased this car used in 2017 with 42k on it. Currently at 144k has the 2.0l and AWD. I’ve switched immediately to full synthetic, done coolant flushes, and changed all fluids. We have 2 Escapes now 14/16 both with 2.0 and AWD. Love them. We do the preventative maintenance. Hopefully we hit 300k. Most of my previous vehicles have done 266k and 400k.

2017 Ford Explorer. I love my car. It runs great but I have had battery problem and trim has blown off my car on freeway. Have not had a lot of problems with it.

I liked the calm atmosphere and clean grounds! While I was only there to get a used car and not a van, all the Brians on staff were really nice. They treated me and my mom with kindness and made our experience the most pleasant ones I've had at a dealership. They even offered to pay for a replacement charger for the car I was buying after we found the previous owner hadn't included it in the trade in. Couldn't ask for anything better!
