Jake Gelormine was our sales person. He was great. He was a pleasure to work with and was always quick to respond with communication. Also dealt with pre-owner manager Vinny Malorni. Again, a pleasure to work with. Both went above and beyond to get us what we needed and take care of us.

Missing a few things that could really make it better. Homelink for garage door isn’t offered? Doesn’t come with a receiver type hitch however what does comes with it is almost the same amount of steel. The phone charger doesn’t work quite right and they know it.

Did a great job on seeing what had to be repaired and fixed it and also got my vehicle back the same day serviced. I recommend it!

2019 Canyon Denali. All sorts of bells and whistles, several that I don't really need. Biggest complaint: no memory seats and no Homelink garage opener. Ridiculous. What accountant made that decision?

Recently I brought in my 2022 Yukon because of a lifter failure. That being said Doug Peavey took care of me from the moment I went it until I picked up my truck. he kept me informed, the repair was performed, and my truck was returned to me the way I dropped it off. GMC Diesel Canyon AT4. I've had this truck for a year-11,000 miles. I love it. The Denali and Elevation trim looked like junk. The AT4 can't compete with the Tacoma off road but, It holds it's own off road. The Diesel pulls like a beast and the exhuast brake, on all the moutain passes I drive, is worth it's wieght in Gold. I trailer the max. capacity regularly and it's smooth sailing. I traded in my 2500HD Silverado with the vortec 6.0 for this big, little truck. Best decision I've made in a while. I had this truck on order for 8 months and Gm never accepted the order. I finally found exactly what I ordered, just off the truck that morning that I called. 1300 miles away, I jumped on a plane to go get it. Crying shame GMC discontinued the diesel. The extra $ per gallon right now is easily washed by the increase in mileage, 32+ higway, 19 trallering almost 8000 #'s. I wouldn't want the truck without it. Wouldn't want the Elevation or Denali. Diesel AT4 is the truck. I'll keep it the rest of my life barring accident. I'm sure I can get 40 years out of this truck doing 10-12k a year. The regeneration of the exhaust has never come up but, I only do a little round town driving. Most of my miles are highway and hauling a load. I've heard horror stories about regen. from city folk, commuters... You get what you aim for. If you've given it a lot of thought and the diesel AT4 seems right for you, you won't be disappointed. Good luck finding one. GM - You've a winner here. don't let it get away. Ps. Cars.com doesn't have a choice of how I use this truck for WORK. Bought this 2016 GMC Canyon (4cyl) at car max in 2017 . It was part of a commercial fleet and was well taken care of and low mileage . I’ve only have had one problem and that was in the engine cooling system where I had to replace two hoses and a goose neck . While repairing that I noticed an oil leak around the valve cover so I replaced the gasket . It was under warranty still ( just happened in Jan 2024 ) . I could have repaired it myself but who wants to get all dirty when it can be repaired by GMC at little or no cost to me. It still has 6 months remaining on warranty ( I did purchase from CarMax) hoping it does not need any further repairs . It is 8 years old and according to its records this is the first repair other than natural repair items that had ever been needed . It rides well pulls my utility trailer fully loaded just fine . I also have a 2000 Ranger that I had to replace the tranny on when it was just a few years old . It has never needed any other work. I believe the GMC will last me for years to come . But you never know so I will be buying another after market warranty on it when the time comes . I’ve already added that to a 2015 vehicle I own who’s warranty had expired . I’m a old school mechanic I can repair olde vehicles easily ( compared to todays ) I’m also a former Turbo Prop Mechanic from the Air Force and worked those motors for almost 29 years . I had worked on Piston Air Craft Motors for a few years before the change . A lot like a car piston motor in many ways . Two kinds of piston motors on Air Craft . Line a cars block or a receptacating motor( Round) . Very easy to trouble shoot vs Turbo Prop. Just letting you know that I have experience as a mechanic and know a real problem vehicle when I see one . Would buy a GMC canyon again or maybe go larger due to my new 42 foot long Camper I have rec bought .

I bought this truck new 8 years ago (and 77k miles). I use this truck for truck things like towing a 5,200lb trailer @8 times a year. The V6 has plenty of power and gets good mileage (22 mpg combined, 29 highway empty, 15 pulling the trailer). Reliability has been outstanding. The transmission needs a full flush about every 40k to keep it shifting smoothly. Other than that this truck has been without issue.

Ed at the dealership was extremely helpful. The vehicle was ready to view and drive. He offered to allow me to take the vehicle to my office so that I could show it to my wife. Communication was clear and quick. A great experience overall.

Have a 19 4x4 SLT Short Box. Lifted 4" w/ 20" rims and decent all purpose tires. With the relatively short wheelbase and the slight lift, I've never had a 4WD that handles everything so easily, including the worst mountain trails. Have owned for 3 years now and have not had any problem other than a dead battery. The interior is average, but in a utility/4WD that gets mud, dog fur and camping fallout, who cares. My prior SUV was an 04 Avalanche 4x4. Cool truck but bad gas mileage and impossible to park in tight city lots. The Canyon is perfect size, easy to handle and with a couple minor mods pushes 350 hp.

Overall a great experience! We would recommend Dixie and definitely would not hesitate to return. The ease of buying our car was definitely worth the drive from Naples!

I just purchased it new. Love it. the interior, the way it rides. Its a great bang for the dollar. A must own. I wish the MPG was a little better

GMC Canyon Denali with the 2.7 Duramax diesel is a loaded power house with great fuel economy. 4x4 has a towing capacity of 7000 pounds, the best in class. 31 MPG on the highway! Previously owned a Tacoma but it would not pull our travel trailer with the V-6. Highly recommend the Canyon diesel, if you can find one!

I have loved and owned Chevy and GMC midsized trucks since 98 when I purchased a used S-10. My latest purchase is a 2021 GMC Canyon Denali bought brand new. It's been a great truck until my power steering unit went out due to corrosion. It only has 32,200 miles on it and I have never gotten it wet other than car washes and driving in the rain which is normal conditions. I had purchased a mid grade extended warranty through GMC after my lease was up and purchased the truck. I am being told this is NOT covered due to it being external wiring. So I feel this is a manufacturing malfunction and bad engineering for water to be able to get in to cause such corrosion so beware. This is an open case filed with GM currently to hopefully rectify the matter.

I really like my GMC Canyon 2015 it's a very nice truck .it's been very good ,it does have a couple problems that I've taken care of but all in all I really enjoy driving on the highway in my truck.
