Used GMC Sierra 1500 trucks for sale under $6,000 near me

I made the mistake of reading and believing what's on internet. I went and looked at this truck fearing the salesman pressure, I figured if they did this, I would spend my money somewhere else. I honestly checked the truck for at least 20minutes, I finally went to office for keys. Silverado was all the truck I wanted. I delt with the salesman I delt with over computer (Chris), I highly recommend. I bought my gmc sierra in 2009 , brand new, and it’s the best truck that I have ever owned, and I have tried a lot of nice trucks, I mean i have owned a truck, Ford used to be my favorite , but it doesn’t even stand a chance up next to a gmc sierra like mine, my brother in-laws were very jealous about me owning it, my brothers all liked it, I have had a lot of pleasure driving my truck, and I have had very little problems with it, I’m retired now or i would buy another one just like it, gmc is the premier truck, it’s the very best, i love my truck.

This truck is amazing, the design of the interior and exterior, the ride quality, the leg room( for a 6’3 1/2 person), it’s just absolutely outstanding. Would definitely recommend for a first truck

My dad bought the Sierra brand new in 2004 and I recently got it as a hand me down 2nd truck, and all I can say is it's perfect for what I need. Most reliable truck ever and I can get up to 16 in town and 22 on the highway. The 5.3 liter Vortec LM7 is probably the best engine ever made. The transmission is very responsive and the truck is surprisingly quick. And the 4 wheel drive works. My S10 never did that. Would definitely recommend. My only complaint is the ride is quite stiff with the twin leaf spring tow suspension, but it's supposed to be because it's toe suspension.

Just bought my 2002 Sierra S. L. T. Only has 55000 miles 1 owner garage kept. Paid top dollar for it but was worth it. No Rust At all condition inside and out Is perfect Looks and drives like a brand new truck. We'll keep it forever.

I have had my 2011 GMC Sierra for a few years now, i love it. i have hauled multiple loads of wood with the truck loaded too the max and a small trailer loaded to the max. can definitely feel the weight but my truck never hesitates at all. Very impressed with the performance of these trucks. i have worked at a ford dealership for years, but ill always drive a GMC.

overall i like the truck alot, its a very dependable vehicle. it has its little quirks for a used truck. there's little things like the drivers door switch for the mirrors and the door locks that are not working as of now but i haven't taken the time to look into it as of yet. minor to me and i'm sure i can fix for a few bucks. nice riding and driving truck i would buy again.

George was amazing, despite me calling after hours he answered and provided me all the information I asked for. On the day of, he checked in and made sure everything was right. This is a used/salvaged car lot, do not expect to find a clean car here, the cars will all need some for of work, the trade off is you will find amazing deals if your willing to put in the TLC.

I've owned every American pickup you can name and as a roofer for over 50 years my GMC is far ahead of any truck our there it has 218,000 miles on it very little rust and I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

I bought 2011 Honda Pilot in 2016 and 2010 Chevrolet Suburban in 2024. Both transactions went well. Honest and easy to deal with. They were very upfront on the defects on the vehicles.

I did everything with this vehicle using it for an hvac business and personal use as well. The frame is full sturdy and I overloaded it alot removing old mechanical systems. Filled it with old commercial radiators which fit in well as high as the cab drove it back at 80 mph not one problem the way I like it. The Suspension still was not bottomed out and was robust. This truck came from ohio i got it at 95K

Ignition switch has a defect. Checked VIN number and no recalls have been issued. Dealership checked and told me that there were no recalls on the truck. The truck paint is not good.

This truck drives great, whether full or empty. The ride comfort is excellent and I've never had the rough ride other trucks have. Turn the key and she starts easily with very little maintenance required. Oil changes, battery, tires and a few other things. I've used this truck to haul a lot of things. It's very strong and holds a lot. The Decked bed system is awesome. I can store things inside (tools, supplies, etc) and I don't have to worry about them getting wet. The side tool boxes also keep things dry and I store the Decked dividers, tie downs, bungee cords, etc. The truck has done everything we've asked it to. I highly recommend it.

This truck is the base model and that is exactly what we were looking for. A good solid truck without all the fancy technology. It drives like a dream, handles just as well and the interior is sleek and well designed. Perfect black on black exterior.... a man's truck.

I have owned this gmc since 2000. I drive it every day and have not had any issues with the truck. She has almost 500.000 on her, she doesn't use any oil runs great , the engine is 95 % original, transmission is original. I have done repairs on the inside, overall it's been the best truck I have ever owned.

I bought my 4x4, 5.3L ext cab at 2 years old. The records show that it had some serious factory defects (transfer case, oil pump) before I got it. Its been a great truck for me as its never been in the shop for repair. The only work I've had to do to it has been oil & filter changes, new battery and new tires. I've put 100,000 miles on it and it has 141,000 on it now. I has a few nuisance failures like high beams won't come on (the lights have been bench tested to work) and the window/mirror switches on the driver's door are failing. mechanically though, its bullet-proof.

Went for oil change for my 2019 ram 1500. As usual went flawlessly and quickly. The lounge is comfortable and covid compliant. The manager of this dealer always greats me when I walk in and takes care of me in a friendly professional and consistent manner. I would recommend this dealership for service without question. I bought this truck used in 2016. I would still own it to day (January 2021) if not for the rust in the rear wheel wells. That seems to be a problem with many GM pick up trucks. It was the SE version and I really enjoyed owning and driving it. It never let me down and was trouble free for the 65K miles that I owned it. It was the most comfortable pick up truck I've owned. The 5.3L engine had all the acceleration a sane person needed and if you drove it sensibly on the highway, you could expect to get 21-23 mpg. Not bad for a 6K pound + truck. If GM ever addresses the rear wheel rust issue on these trucks, I might own another one some day.

Am I the only one that has had the instrument panel completely fail? Mine did YEARS ago. So why is my reliability rating 5? The computer still works, I know how fast I'm going, the Miles remaining on the fuel economy is accurate, and it runs. Everyday. Replaced one hub and bearing, water pump, starter, ignition. A/C doesn't work, but I've got windows (which work if you know exactly where to push the button.) Oh, and the Engine light is always on, because the throttle body really needs a thorough cleaning or replacing. Motor and transmission have been crazy reliable for 20 years on truck bought new October '0 3. Nothing a few hundred dollars wouldn't fix. Though there are several of those, they don't keep me from getting from A to B.

Bought truck brand new with 9 miles on it other than two water pumps and one fuel pump which were my fault for running on fuel. I haven’t had any complaints other than the guy on the dash peeled off minimal 53 runs great at 200,000 miles reprogrammed truck at 500 miles gets 20 to 22 miles a gallon down the highway as long as you’re on supreme runs great never left me stranded best truck I’ve ever owned I’m in search of another one similar same body style, but a three-quarter ton now but plan on keeping this is long as I can just purchased a brand new 5.3 to put in it when this one wears out it’ll keep going had minor issues with the dash gauges, light one out and a couple of gauges. No big deal, I also have an 03 Chevy Tahoe but it had all of the problems in the Insta rebel had panel replaced $600. No other issues. Great track Holly

excelent work horse this truck has served me well with minimum issues 13 years and still going strong, Also it has only 2 wheel drive in mud sand and 9 inches of water never stalled or hesitated

Bought used in 06 with 64k. Now has 150k on it. Very good offroad capabilities. On the 3rd waterpump but they're easy to.replace. Mine has bad paint. The clearcoat on the roof of the cab peeled off & the paint around the windows began to peel & I repainted that myself. Transmission still works as it should but it feels like there's some slop going on with the output shaft. I've replaced the power window regulators 3 times on the driver side & twice on the pass side. Overall has been a good truck & still runs well. Not afraid to drive it anywhere.
