I bought a new a 2008 Matrix XR in September 2007. I still have it. It is nearly 18 years old and runs great. I do regular synthetic oil changes every 4500 miles. And have Toyota do routine maintenance as per owners manual. It is a 4 speed Automatic with all safety features that are important. I plan on keeping another 18 years if it keeps going.

My 2010 Prius with the solar panel package has been the best car I’ve ever owned. At 180k miles it drives like a dream and I’ve never had to replace anything besides the brakes. If I drive right I actually get 60-85 mpg. It’s a really wonderful car. I expect another 50 to 100k more miles out of it.

I absolutely recommend this car if you need a workhorse to drive you back and forth and not to die on you. A couple things about this car --- 200k miles with multiple total-loss level accidents because my jobs at the time had me on the road most days. Still running strong. I just took it on an interstate road trip and it doesn't miss a beat. This car is hard to kill. I don't know how this thing was built by Toyota but it is seriously impressive value for the money. Worth literally every penny for what I've squeezed out of it so far. Cons: the disrespect you get is insane. I've driven other cars and the hate that this car receives in particular is laughable. Also the performance is ridiculously bad, which everyone knows. One way to sum this up, I had a friend of mine once say, "It's hard to look another man in the eye while getting out of a Prius."

This car is very economical. Great gas mileage and very easy to maintain. Be certain to change the oil and filter. Rotate tires and check the brakes every 10K miles. Realize what this car is all about - it is not a high performance car but for transportation inexpensive cost per mile it is SUPER.

I own the most bear bones version and it works like a charm, with the manual 30mpg is easily achievable. Steering at low speeds feels like you are the car. Pedals are responsive and the suspension can handle just about anything. Highly recommended for a cheap daily.

This is the best car I have ever owned. Very reliable and easy to repair. Mechanics will alsways take advantage because there are no many Suzuki around. I purchased my 2010 versa sedan automatic used with 132,000 miles for $4,000 tax, title and tags. It now has 201,000 miles and going. Yes I have had strut, breaks and motor mount issues along the way totaling around $2,000 separately and some warning lights stay on at all times but this has been the most reliable car for the least money I have ever spent. Gas mileage around 25 mpg enough comfort for an easy 250 mile trip the cruise control no longer works nor the horn but everything else still in working order. Some clear coat issues on the paint but maybe not for showing it’s definitely for going most importantly no transmission issues which have been reported less invasive in this model year.

I traded in a Acura to Dot auto sales 2 years ago, they treated me well during the process and never no stress ion doing the deal. I would buy from them again if the right car became available.
