Best dealership in town. There’s no other dealer in Illinois that compares to this one. I’m a passionate automobile enthusiast with no patience for xx and THIS dealer has NONE of that. I walked in and I was greeted softly and warmly by the front desk discussing the reason for my visit and understanding if I was browsing or looking for something specific. When I spoke about a specific vehicle I wanted I was referred to Tiffany the sales manager. She was as warm and welcoming as the front desk people were. Tiffany paid careful attention to what I wanted and what I was looking for. I never felt rushed or pressured. I felt MY time and what I wanted is what mattered to her, which it did! She introduced me to her product specialist Roland ( With a cool Cowboy hat and a great sense of humor to accompany it). While Roland knew full well I wasn’t in the market to buy a car in the near future he still spent almost 2 hours with me discussing my options, my needs, and how to get those needs taken care of. By the end of my visit, Roland helped me place an order for the exact vehicle I want. Despite not making a sale that day, they invested those nearly 2 hours in MY NEEDS and they showed me how much MY time meant to them. I’m almost 40 years old and I’ve never purchased a brand new car before in my life, and you know what? This is the place that’s going to happen and I couldn’t be happier. Excellent vehicle except the standard headlights are terrible. They are not bright at all. Even on high beams they do not light up the road adequately. I am looking into adding additional led light sources to supplement the head lights. Unfortunately they dealer tell me they cannot swap out the halogen bulbs for led ones.

After changing jobs and having to drive 100 miles round trip, I decided to buy the 2023 Honda Civic, I think it was the best decision of my life, not only does it save me a lot of gas but it looks spectacular on the outside and not to mention The interior is simply perfect with a lot of space, like any criticism there are negative points such as the sound system which in my opinion lacks power to be able to listen to your favorite songs at full volume, another point that I would like to highlight is that it lacks entry to the car without having to use your remote control even my 2011 grand cherokee has it, in a general perspective it seems like a good car for price, safety and appearance, it has been my first honda and I think I will continue with the tradition of continuing to buy this model for a long time

I was initially looking for a used Golf, but the more I looked at the Beetle the more I liked it. When I found the one I ended up buying, it was love at first drive. This little car packs a punch with the 2.0T, and will throw you back in your seat. It’s an absolute blast to drive. Handles well around town and on the interstate, where it could easily get one in trouble since it wants to GO. The same engine as is found in the GTI, so this should be unsurprising. Easily gets 30+mpg on the highway when cruising along, typically around 20-25 city. These cars handle city driving just fine, but they are meant for the freeway in my opinion. I find the interior to be quite luxurious. Heated leather seats (not available in the Golf) with plenty of storage compartments. Not many frills, just a sleek and mostly practical dash. The trunk is big enough for grocery runs, and the rear seats fold forward for larger loads. It’s not going to haul large appliances or furniture, although it could possibly carry some bigger stuff on a roof rack. The Fender audio system is impressive, wouldn’t change a thing about it except it could benefit from an updated head unit with CarPlay. This hasn’t been an issue for me. I think the car is a real looker, it turns heads and has drawn the occasional compliment. My used model had some imperfections, but it’s still a great looking car that I want to look after and keep for as long as I can. It feels well built, the doors close with the satisfying weighty thud of a premium vehicle. Overall, I am very happy with my 2013 beetle. It’s not only fun, but it seems to be reliable with a couple caveats that some owners might not be aware of. The 2.0T engine is designed for premium fuel, using regular will eventually damage it. The 2.5 can run regular, but I believe the 1.8T will also want premium. The reason for this is lower octane fuel will cause detonation in these high compression engines. If you don’t know what detonation is, just know it’s bad. The oil needs changed more regularly than the manufacturer recommended 10k miles. 5k to be safe, 7k at a stretch. This is especially true for higher mileage vehicles. Speaking of stretch, there is a known issue with some 2.0T engines where the timing chain stretches over time and many miles, so if buying used that’s something I’d have a mechanic check out. This is an expensive maintenance item, but IF it’s needed, getting it done along with the tensioner and a new water pump for good measure will ensure that the new to you Beetle is reliable for many years and miles to come. The other issue is carbon build up. Getting it cleaned out is not as spendy as the timing chain but it’s also not a cheap fix. I believe this can largely be avoided by using top tier fuel (it contains detergents that help with this) as well as regular oil changes and some regular spirited driving. Would not recommend this car to someone who mainly does town or city driving, the 2.5 engine might be better suited for that. According to my research, the 2.5 is quite bulletproof BUT it’s not good for any engine to be driven at low RPM all the time.

I bought my golf new at the end of 2016 and would have kept it much longer if it had not been totaled in an accident. The few little issues I had were covered under the initial warranty (coolant leak, trunk leak). Nothing else other than normal maintenance things like brakes and tires up to 81,000 - that's as far as I can speak to. I took good care of it, did the VW service things for the most part and I have no doubt it would have lasted to 200K or beyond. It looked cool and was fun to drive. I had the S manual. I enjoy driving and had a tiny regret about not getting the Wolfsburg edition (faster engine, slightly better options like heated seats and sun/moon roof).

I have owned my convertible bug for 10 years. I bought it brand new and have 98k miles on it. I have taken this car for its yearly inspection and oil changes at the dealership and completed all factory recommended service. Believe it or not I have not had to do anything besides buy tires...its on the second set...This car is still on all its original parts breaks, rotors etc...Its insane!!! I love my bug and it has been the best little car I have owned.

I'm 78 years old and this car is a ball to drive! I love the 6 speed std transmission and the clutch action. My wife's GTI 6 peed manual(2016) clutch is very fussy and is to stall out if you're to weak on throttle! The handling is a blast! Love taking off ramps then merging onto the hwy and accelerating! If you like driving then this is the car for you! I love this car!

I am a 30 year automotive professional and a Porsche owner since 1985. The Panamera GTS v8 is a BEAST. I love this car. I mean I love this car. If I ever sell it, I would want it to go to a family member or a close friend without hesitation. Having driven and owned multiple marque brands including Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, BMW I can say that Porsche never disappoints. My GTS is a daily driver and one of the most comfortable and reliable cars I have ever driven. The interior is laid out extremely well and the exterior design is still jaw dropping. The performance from the 440 HP engine and multiple performance setting make this a true driver's car. P.S. Since 1984, All I have to do is hold the Porsche key in my hand to put a smile on my face, and I'm still smiling.

purchased used with 2,200 miles. At first, I hated it, I've never had an all-electric car and the batter was dead. Luckily they sent someone to jump it. I was still thinking it was a mistake, until I actually drove it and got to know it and learn it. Drives totally different than my corvette. Now I like the Tesla better than my 650hp corvette. It hugs the road like nothing, takes off like a bat out of xxxx. I felt safe and comfortable hitting the pedal to the floor and feeling the rush of this thing taking off and just hanging on to that jet style steering wheel.

I recently purchased A 2018 Alpina B7 from Ray at Motor Cars Of Chicago. When I purchased the car I made it clear to Ray that I was going to be in need of the title in ASAP fashion – Ray said I’d have the title within two weeks and boy did I just like he said he fulfilled the promise he made no questions asked. Also on the way home after taking delivery, I had a very minor problem that turned out to be a bad battery. Ray was unaware of when we took delivery of the car – Ray didn’t hesitate he reimbursed me for the batteries I had to have installed at the BMW dealer by the BMW dealer. He said the car was flawless and he stood behind that statement. Ray is very straightforward and no xx perhaps not full of warm fuzzies for everyone but a great way to do business, especially in the luxury and highline car business. I find Ray to be honorable direct and stand up and we’ll do business with him again if I had any reservations about doing business with them before this transaction, they are all completely gone and yours should be too. I own a 2014 Hyundai Veloster R-Spec. This car worked great for me in college, I maintained the car regularly and never had any engine issues. The car carried everything I needed for groceries and provided a great amount of space in the hatchback for such a small car. The car is fun and has great acceleration. I own the manual version of this car and I have never had any issues with the gears slipping or thumping. The best part of this car is the unique 3 door design that started a lot of cool conversations in college with my friends. It's the best of both worlds allowing people to get in the back without folding the seat down and not compromising in weight or style of this zippy little sports coupe.

I use to only own Hondas- I had Accords and Civics and they were very good cars. However while in college, I needed a new car and was on a shoestring budget. That landed me my first Ford- a Crown Victoria. Now that was an amazing car- very cheap to maintain, easy to work on, etc. It was so amazing, my next car was another Crown Victoria! It too was just as reliable, but unfortunately at over 200k miles and rusting out considerabily, it was time to upgrade. Unforuntately Ford doesn't make the Crown Victoria anymore, but being loyal to the brand, I started looking around. After researching for approximately a year, I felt comfortable enough to pull the trigger on the 2017 Ford C-Max Titanium Energi, and it was a very good decision! It's incredibly comfortable, the heated seats are amazing, and the visibility is awesome as well. The fuel economy is pretty amazing as well- I've averaged about 46 MPG since I got the car in November of 2024. There are a few things I would change if Ford were to ask me- first, there is no map light. The dome light is adequate but its over my head and behind me whereas a map light would be ideal because sometimes you need light directly above you. Second, on a cold day, when you set the heater on 90, the blower will blow cold air on you immediately before the engine is warmed up. Even my old 2005 Crown Victoria did not do this- the blower would not blow any air until the engine had warmed up. Beyond those two complaints, it's an amazing car and perfect for bopping around town.

Ok when I tell you my salesperson Ronnie Robles is the best he literally was very patient and helpful with me he pulled my up 3 cars when it was literally time for him to get off and leave he didn’t put me out he didn’t get angry he was just patient until I finally picked the car I wanted mind you this was Saturday and today i finally picked my new baby up and I’m in love with it thanks Ronnie and the whole Hoffman Estates family everyone was so helpful and nice no mean attitudes I got from anyone also to my girl Claudia she was the bomb she help me register my car to my phone and she also went over ever feature I needed to know about my car with me she took my pictures and she knew how a girl loves her pictures lol thanks Claudia everyone was just so patient you guys rock

The one weak point is that there is a design defect. The exhaust manifold leading to cylinders tends to get clogged up. Must be cleaned every 60 k miles (200 dollar job) to avoid head gasket replacement. Otherwise should run forever. 250 k miles and doesn't use drop of oil. 2014 is known to be vintage year, with all kinks worked out of generation 3 - except for aforementioned. Besides being ultra reliable, the car is simply the best use of space and readily available fuel possible. Enormous cargo space with back seats down. Up, passengers have room almost equivalent to full-size sedan. Simply best car ever made. Just look out for traction battery expense. But even that can be mitigated using rebuilt batteries and independent shops.

The Prius is the last cat you will have to buy. The reason being is that this vehicle is extremely reliable. It gets over 50 MPG & it doesn’t have any issues or problems whatsoever. I was skeptical upon purchasing this vehicle, being 6 ft. 1 & 235 lbs, but it actually is quite comfortable inside. Overall this is a rock solid vehicle, it will not disappoint you in any way. Highly recommended!
