I was initially looking for a used Golf, but the more I looked at the Beetle the more I liked it. When I found the one I ended up buying, it was love at first drive. This little car packs a punch with the 2.0T, and will throw you back in your seat. It’s an absolute blast to drive. Handles well around town and on the interstate, where it could easily get one in trouble since it wants to GO. The same engine as is found in the GTI, so this should be unsurprising. Easily gets 30+mpg on the highway when cruising along, typically around 20-25 city. These cars handle city driving just fine, but they are meant for the freeway in my opinion. I find the interior to be quite luxurious. Heated leather seats (not available in the Golf) with plenty of storage compartments. Not many frills, just a sleek and mostly practical dash. The trunk is big enough for grocery runs, and the rear seats fold forward for larger loads. It’s not going to haul large appliances or furniture, although it could possibly carry some bigger stuff on a roof rack. The Fender audio system is impressive, wouldn’t change a thing about it except it could benefit from an updated head unit with CarPlay. This hasn’t been an issue for me. I think the car is a real looker, it turns heads and has drawn the occasional compliment. My used model had some imperfections, but it’s still a great looking car that I want to look after and keep for as long as I can. It feels well built, the doors close with the satisfying weighty thud of a premium vehicle. Overall, I am very happy with my 2013 beetle. It’s not only fun, but it seems to be reliable with a couple caveats that some owners might not be aware of. The 2.0T engine is designed for premium fuel, using regular will eventually damage it. The 2.5 can run regular, but I believe the 1.8T will also want premium. The reason for this is lower octane fuel will cause detonation in these high compression engines. If you don’t know what detonation is, just know it’s bad. The oil needs changed more regularly than the manufacturer recommended 10k miles. 5k to be safe, 7k at a stretch. This is especially true for higher mileage vehicles. Speaking of stretch, there is a known issue with some 2.0T engines where the timing chain stretches over time and many miles, so if buying used that’s something I’d have a mechanic check out. This is an expensive maintenance item, but IF it’s needed, getting it done along with the tensioner and a new water pump for good measure will ensure that the new to you Beetle is reliable for many years and miles to come. The other issue is carbon build up. Getting it cleaned out is not as spendy as the timing chain but it’s also not a cheap fix. I believe this can largely be avoided by using top tier fuel (it contains detergents that help with this) as well as regular oil changes and some regular spirited driving. Would not recommend this car to someone who mainly does town or city driving, the 2.5 engine might be better suited for that. According to my research, the 2.5 is quite bulletproof BUT it’s not good for any engine to be driven at low RPM all the time.

Purchased this vehicle used in mid-2024 with 42K miles. Third owner. There is virtually no learning curve when switching from an ICE vehicle to the Fiat 500e. Despite its tiny, ultra compact exterior, it provides substantial interior room for two fairly large people (6’5”/290 lb and 6’2”/230 lb). Headroom is excellent - better than the majority of ICE vehicles. Legroom is good given that I have a 35” inseam. Shoulder room is adequate for two large males. In summary, the Fiat 500e is amazingly comfortable transportation for two large people. But no one is riding in the backseat unless the driver and front passenger are 5’6” or less. Cargo is, as you would expect, is quite limited, although I have found it to be adequate for daily activities with the rear seats folded. Performance is peppy up through 60-70 mph. The air conditioner has an auto-temperature feature and works well. The factory sound system is excellent. And the braking system is very smooth and predictable and transitions seamlessly between regenerative braking and physical braking at 6 mph and below. I absolutely love the Fiat 500e as a local commuter.

This is no luxury car but if you are looking for a smaller car with great reliabilty and lower maintenance costs this is a great option. I am a petite female and the car is quite comfortable for me. I drive 18 miles one way into Minneapolis and the ride is enjoyable enough. This is my 2nd Mazda 3, ironically same color as my previous only because of availabilty. This model year all wheel drive was available and served me well in our Minnesota winters. Standard safety features are appreciated. I don't need all the bells and whistles but I do like connecting my phone to my car.

We managed to come to an agreement and purchased the car we wanted. There was not much negotiation, but the car was well priced to begin with. We agreed to pay $500 additional in order to drive the car away and have our mechanic inspect it. We got a week to report any issues and could return the car for a full refund if not satisfied by any necessary repairs. Ultimately the car checked out and the only problem was a piece of windshield trim that flew off on the way home. We negotiated a $200 refund and got the repair done by our mechanic so we didn’t have to drive the car back to the dealer. So far, so good.

I feel comfortable in the drivers seat, and love the dashboard. But I don’t like the fact that rain is caught in the door and you can hear it “swoosh” when turning. I first thought I had a gallon of juice in the back. Plus, I can’t find a cargo cover for the hatchback.

I had my Tesla S for about four months now. Its a great car. Have a Nemi 14-50 outlet in the garage for 40 amps. It charges faster than what the appl. says. Autopilot is about 80% self driving and is great in traffic. I don't think the extra $200 for FSD is worth it. It quiet and powerful. I go 150 to 175 miles between charges on a longer trip. Plenty of charge stations around

We picked up a preowned EQS and the transaction was smooth. I'd been in contact with Simon prior to just walking in. I wish they negotiated price, but I guess Autonation dealers stopped doing that...I'm old school, I'd prefer to negotiate. The finance process could have been a bit quicker and smoother. All said, we got there a bit before 1pm and were out around 4pm. We had to stay on top of things during the finance process for a few promised items to ensure we'd get a due bill. Signed a bunch of papers, but when I got to the one that committed my dollars, I to refused to go any further until I got the due bill. Just make sure you know the buying process and advocate for yourself. Every dealer tries to squeeze you, HOI is on the spectrum of one of the better experiences. We didn't experience any high pressure tactics, so we appreciate that. I think Simon and his partner Salem are good sales guys to deal with.

I can write an entire diatribe about this car but I'll keep it simple! If you are looking for a luxury, convertible, look no further than the S5 cabriolet. I looked at the C43, M440i, this car, IMO, is the BEST value for the money! It is an absolute beast in the performance department, the options that come with this car for the price are unmatched and of course every single detail is perfectly executed!

I loved my BMW 430i, I've got so many compliments from random people. After 6-months of purchasing this vehicle my fuel flap would not open and left me stranded at night 50-miles away from home. I was not excepting this happen and I surely did not want my new car getting towed. This was very disappointing but I love my car.

We have been shopping for a specific pre-owned Kia for about a month now. Have visited two dealers prior to Van Nuys Kia and interacted with about 8 other dealers via text, phone or email. My experience with my 2025 Civic Sedan Hybrid has been a mixed one, although it would be only fair to state that I am still getting accustomed to the car. A major shortcoming is that the manual isn't at all helpful. Googling provides a variety of responses which are not necessarily relevant - i.e. my initial search for how to engage rear wiper - instructions found. I struggled until eventually I determined car does not have one, which is a major disappointment to me. Defroster is mediocre and turns itself off. Settings are on/off - no way to increase fan with rear defroster. I had zero visibility out back in heavy rains. Side mirrors good range of visibility. Good warning for potential blind spots. I found it especially helpful to add full view mirror (snaps onto rear view). This enables me to see out back windows as well as through rear of car. After owning the car for a little over 3 months now, there are still many features I do not yet know/understand. My salesman has been as helpful as possible, but not always accessible (which is understandable). Size is larger than anticipated; it's on me that I didn't realize the sedan is so much larger than the hatchback. A bit of buyer's remorse there. Although out here in this area, perhaps a larger car is to my advantage. Most other cars SUVs (which I did not want). Mileage is excellent. Pick-up excellent, even on Eco mode. Interior seating very comfortable, although for such a large car, few places to keep things. Glove compartment very small. Sound system magnificent, especially after tweaking to my personal taste. Interior is very quiet. Turning radius and general steering excellent. Ability to adjust driver's seat excellent. Cruise control setting automatically engages approaching/side collision alert which slows /resumes speed out of driver's control. This can be somewhat adjusted to change distance of warning from default normal to closer so that interference from cars in distance (i.e. on curve) not as strongly affected. Would be helpful to have known about this ahead of time; it was frightening feeling car accelerating/decelerating "out of control". Roomy trunk; easy to engage mechanism to lower back seats right from the trunk. Handy for loading large cargo. Recommend cargo liner at purchase time. Same for shields around windows that enable window to be open without it raining in. VERY difficult to find a windshield sun shade that actually fits. I am still looking. Front display screen good size; easily visible. Good storage memory for saved gps. Would be much better if a tutorial for this were included in paperwork. Pay attention to treatment at service. One should never feel dismissed. ALL questions are valid questions. That said, continued appreciation to my salesman who always took the time to find out rather than giving unreliable information.

The Leaf is a commuter car for me, saves me $4.50 per day. It's comfortable, nice to drive, and very cheap to own and operate.

I would recommend this car to someone who specifically wanted a performance-oriented car. If I had to do over again I may not purchase it. Simply for the road noise and harshness. And the 19-in wheels. The tires are very hard to find and of course the car comes without a spare. I've been stranded twice already.

drives like a sporty spaceship.. feels like levitating on the road. super tight steering, classic bmw feel - sticks to the road, nice turbo feel. if you have the M Sport package, great sporty appearance

I absolutely recommend this car if you need a workhorse to drive you back and forth and not to die on you. A couple things about this car --- 200k miles with multiple total-loss level accidents because my jobs at the time had me on the road most days. Still running strong. I just took it on an interstate road trip and it doesn't miss a beat. This car is hard to kill. I don't know how this thing was built by Toyota but it is seriously impressive value for the money. Worth literally every penny for what I've squeezed out of it so far. Cons: the disrespect you get is insane. I've driven other cars and the hate that this car receives in particular is laughable. Also the performance is ridiculously bad, which everyone knows. One way to sum this up, I had a friend of mine once say, "It's hard to look another man in the eye while getting out of a Prius."
