Consumers need to understand that there is a bit of research and document preparation, that takes place on the dealer's end as well: release of liability, proof of insurance, and other compliance regulations required -by the state- from the dealer, to remain in business! Coming from out of state (Reno, NV), I knew what I wanted before making the trek to University Honda. I found the car through cars.com, and researched the lineage (go carfax!). I knew the Kelly Blue Book value of both the pending purchase AND my trade in, and contacted the dealer to arrange for a test drive. Upon arrival, Fred Walker had the car ready and waiting for us. He and the rest of the University Honda team were professional, pleasant , and accommodating. What more could we want? I love the fact that it is self-charging. That was a huge factor in my decision. The car if comfortable for me but my taller husband finds it a bit small and confining. It has great pickup and I have saved a lot of time and money by not having to fill up with gas so often. The one thing I am worried about it the quality of the tires. They are low-profile tires, filled with nitrogen and the vehicle does not come with a spare. This put us in a hazardous situation when one tire blew out on I-95. Without a spare, we had to get towed to the nearest dealership in Virginia. I wish I could replace all the tires with regular ones, but that is not possible with this make and model.

When we buy our next Honda, we will make sure we look up Fred and University Honda, even though we live nearly two hundred miles from Davis.

After looking online for a couple of weeks, and searching within 2 hours of the Bay Area, we decided to head for University Honda. A DETAILED personalized walkthrough of the entire vehicle before we left the lot. EXTRA BONUS - we left the car at the dealership while we went to lunch and took a brief tour of Davis.

The car is almost perfect except for: The build quality isn’t what I remember from prior Hondas. Exterior fit and finish leave much to be desired. The extensive use of piano black inside and out. Scratches and swirls galore.

I bought a Honda 2023 EX-L Accord Hybrid. Love the car, but furious there was no Sirius-XM software installed on the model. You now only get that on the Touring (Most expensive)Trim model. I had to have it installed by an independent company into the car for an additional $650. Why not offer it at least as an extra that a Honda Mechanic can execute a software upgrade in the radio system which installs it? You put the Sirius/XM software in all your cars when it first became available, and now you only put it in the Touring Trims! Ripoff!! Also, the phone system; Often the bluetooth gets set up to link your cellphones in the new car and then a few hundred miles down the road it fails and you have to do a complete reboot of the cellphone bluetooth system and then re-link your cell phones all over again to get it to work. This has happened twice to me and I have only got 6000 miles on the new car!

I bought my hybrid accord brand new. I got 100K miles now and not a single problem and I'm getting 47mpg. I work for a dealership and out of every sedan it's size nothing feels better to drive.

Traded in my 2018 Honda Ridgeline for a 2023 Accord EX-L hybrid in April, 2023. Shopped the Toyota Camry but it felt "dated" in comparison to the Accord. I was primarily interested in gas mileage and have averaged 51 mpg so far over 10,800 miles of driving. The car is comfortable, solid and enjoyable to drive. I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend the Accord hybrid.

Experience with the hybrid touring. A bit low on power but the electric motor + ecvt makes up for it well by delivering punchy acceleration. Great interior features. Honda provides all the convenience, comfort and tech in the cabin but leaves out luxury only aesthetic features e.g. footwell lights, puddle lights. 3 months in, I'm getting 48mpg in downtown driving and around 50 mpg in highway on econ mode.

I have owned many cars in my lifetime including 3 Toyota Prius’. The Accord Hybrid far exceeded them in every aspect including fuel consumption. It continues to be stylish and attractive as well as comfortable and pleasant to drive.
