This car replaced my 1993 Civic when the corrosion of the midwest did in the suspension, which was not worth repairing on on a car with 279,000 miles. Now my current Civic was approaching this benchmark fast befor Covid. It had some big shows to fill and easily did so. No problems, and it has been beat to crap. This is city driving, so the engine hours are through the roof. Average maybe 20mph thoughtour it’s life. Did need it’s starter replaced once, although this was less expensive than the old timing belt tuneup on the 93. There was an issue with thinning paint on trunk and the car has been hit with enough rocks and when parked that she is far from pristine. I vouch for the safety as this is the insurance replacement of one that got totaled with 60 miles on it back in 09, a roll over. Run off road by semi whose brakes failed. I find the car quite comfortable for commuting purposes and the AC still works. It’s a DX-VP, so she’s awfully spartan by modern standards. Now that I work from home, the miles are coming slower. I assume a better conditioned one with low miles would hold its resale value pretty well. I’d like to justify getting a new car to scoot around town but it’s impossible to justify.

Provided useful information and Brick City Motors staff was not pushy - like most auto sale staff are. I am still deciding on which car I wait to buy and they are showing me what's currently available

We purchased this 2013 Honda Civic new , it now has roughly 135,000 miles now in January 2025 and has only received regular service maintenance. It has not needed any repairs , with the exception of tires, two battery replacements , and proactively replaced brake pads and rotors.

It's a small but not tiny. It sort of roomier in the front but tighter in the rear seats. My model is the 2 doors coupe ex, with stick shift, it came well equipped with all the bells and whistles. Is good on gas and fun to drive. It's not incredible peppy but is fast and strong, and there's a lot of ways you can customize it with. Hondas have always been known for reliability, and this car won't disappoint you, it has 140k miles on it and stills runs like it was new. I got a really good deal from the dealer I bought it from, and they're pretty good overall. I would definitely buy from this place again!

Reliable car I'm 6ft 3 inches tall and fit decently in the car. This little thing handled the snow okay and the car has good gas mileage paid 8k for it with 48 thousand miles on it. Takes long trips good only thing I've noticed is the vibration due to the motor mounts that's about it over very reliable

Bought my 2012 brand new and 12 years later it still runs great! I have put o er 304,000 miles on it and have had no problems. I have done regular maintenance on the car and it keeps on ticking. The paint is poor condition and weather stripping has deteriorated. The interior has held well! The only thing after 12 years and lots of miles is the CD player is making noises and wearing out. I am going to keep driving until it dies which at this point seems like it might be another 100-200k miles.

Bought 2008 with 94k miles on it and have owned it for 2 years (115k on it now). Great value car, great Dave Ramsey car(read the Total Money Makeover), great car value to avoid debt(buy one off a “grandma” (=low miles and not driven hard(it only went to church and the grocery store🤣😂)). I will drive it to 200k or more and my investment accounts will keep on growing!

Honestly, for as cheap as you can get them, the value you get is amazing. I make consistent 300mi commutes on weekends (600 total) and this car has given me 0 issues. I make it each way with a 1/4 tank of gas left, insane gas mileage for a 21 year old car. Original owner took good car of it, owner they sold it to tried to run it into the ground, I fixed the issues they gave it. 170k original miles and still going strong, any problems are cheap to fix (SO easy to fix yourself). Excellent for modding (if that’s your thing), perfect for learning to work on cars (cheap parts, easy access), and a stellar beater. Still gets as good if not better mpg than modern cars. Only gripes are as follows: Steering wheel doesn’t come forward, so if you’re a taller person it’s gonna be a little less than ideal comfort. Road noise is a bit loud, especially for highways, but then again.. that’s what the volume knob on the stereo is for. Though I eventually will purchase something more modern, I find the idea of letting go of my 02 very hard to comprehend.

In response to mikes review from yesterday , I just want to make it clear that this person wrote the review out of the for the simple reason that they did not get the answer they wanted. No one was rude or condescending. They were told about the companies policy, which is not to give out the door pricing over the phone because although we may agree in pricing , the customer may find something wrong or may simply not like the vehicle in person . This leaves both the salesperson and customer disappointed . Hence why they were told that once they come in , visually inspect the car, test drive and see if it’s to their liking then we can sit down and discuss numbers. For some was so ready to buy two cars and have a check ready they were awfully concerned with numbers beforehand . Mind you, the price is always negotiable within reason. What was rude was the fact that when they were told about the policy they said “ Well you’re not getting any business from me !” And hung up … that part was conveniently omitted from the review. I bought mine as a pre owned. 32k miles. I've been hard on it too. I've gotten mine to hit 136mph on the interstate WITH the cvt. Most people don't know how to drive even an automatic. Let off and get right back on and get on hard. Car will downshift to a lower "gear" and hold the rpms in the higher range. Car has been amazing to me. I've only replaced tires, and oil/oil filter since I bought it. 0 problems and that's even after I rear ended a mustang! It wasn't even out of alignment after! 16.2k for a pre owned car with a nice HUD and blind spot camera. Definitely buying a Honda next

Great car for those who look for a vehicle which is low cost to buy, fuel, and maintain; all while being comfortable, spacious and fast enough for most people's needs. Owning one for several years, it's not indestructible, but problems can be caught well in advance if you know something feels off.

Civic LX sedan.Small car that is extremely reliable and handles like a sports car. Stereo is average. Seats are a little stiff. Low to the ground makes it a little hard to get in and out. Rides great, handles even better. 118,000 miles without an issue. 36 mpg combined every day. Dont care for CVT transmission, feels slightly sluggish but will get the job done.
