Used Honda HR-V LX for sale near Forest View, IL

Overall, it's great! It's a Honda and it is reliable and holds up well over time! It can be parked anywhere! However, the heater is terrible - takes over 20 minutes to warm up the car inside (my 1996 Civic and 2002 CR-V had fantastic heaters, I don't know what Honda's done to ruin their heaters). It is also bad for road noise, it is difficult to hear passengers because of all the road noise on a highway!

Had an oil change and tire rotation. I also purchased an oil change bundle for the future. The facility was clean, the employees were kind and professional.

Didn't know much about this car until i got it. Car is good, economical , looks good. Didn't see much of them on the roads a year ago, but there are many of them now. This shows its gaining popularity.

I was searching for a used vehicle, and was pleasantly surprised to find out about at the Auto Nation dealership. It was like a one-stop shop for used cars in Westmont. They were able to pull cars from a number of different dealerships in the area for me to test drive. I also like the no haggle sales approach.

What a great car! I was originally going to get a CR-V but realized I did not really need that much room so I decided to drop down to an HR-V but then get the highest trim level with all the bells and whistles. So now I have all the great comfort and sensors and top infotainment and still paying less than the CR-V. The drive is very smooth and easy to handle. The only "issue" is that it does not accelerate from a stop very quickly but then again I did not buy this to have a race car. And I just need to get used to this being a bigger car than my previous Fit so the gas mileage is not that great. Anyway, If you are looking for the small end of an SUV, this is definitely a car you should focus on.

I have owned my HR-V for about a month. Did have to tint my windows was no big deal. I think it had great power has alot on get up and go. Just the right size for me. Still learning what all the buttons do. Overall I am very pleased. First Honda owned.

I own a 2017 Honda HRV 1.5 Petrol FW CVT (European model). I’m the first owner and I just reached 220k Kilometers. No issues so far except for a start/stop button replacement and a scheduled suspension replacement (200k). All the services and oil changes were made on time according to the manual. I also started doing the oil/fluid changes (engine & cvt transmission) in less kilometers than the proposed schedule once the car reached 180k kilometers. The European edition 1.5 petrol motor responds well but I believe that a bigger motor would be more suitable for the specific model. I’ve traveled a lot on asphalt, gravel and snow (with a good pair of snow tires) and in temperatures varying between 14 to 113 Fehrenheit.

After a test drive and some negotiation, I drove away in a new Accord. This is the second car I've purchased here and I would do business again.

Very happy with my HR-V sport model. Exterior design of the car is very nice Interior is a little small with not much room for storing things. Would not recommend this car to avery large person but for a smaller individual it is perfect, Runs well, has more pick up than I thought it would have. Based on only been driving it for 3 weeks I do recommend it.

This small SUV gives a lot of bang for the buck. For my driving this car has plenty of power. I don't know whether the others who say it is under powered are trying to run in the Indy 500 or what, but for every day driving as well as on the interstate it has more than enough power. The only negative for me is I got the LX model and it is not satellite radio compatible. This is for one purpose and that is to get the customer to spend more to get the more expensive model. If I were Sirius I would tell auto makers that they either offer satellite radio in all models or they don't get it for any of their models. The HR-V gets great gas milage and has a ton of safety features. I love the HR-V!

I absolutely love my 2017 HRV. No problems with it at all. Im regular on my oil changes. Did have to get a new battery last winter . First new set of tires this year (2023). I would highly reccomend the HRV. Best car Ive ever had

John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. Use this to commute to work everyday. Pleased with the comfort and the gas mileage of the car. Since it is a Honda hopefully I will get a car that will last me for a few years with trouble-free motoring.

The 2023 Honda HR-V is a premier choice for an entry level SUV. While the market has these going, on average, for above MSRP, these still are well worth the price. MPGs are stellar, currently at above 27MPGs in my 2023 Honda HR-V LX AWD. The AWD system is phenomenal, especially in Snow mode during poor weather conditions. Exterior styling is easily the best in its class. Downsides for the LX are the lack of BSW (which should be standard at this point), no heated seats, and no backseat amenities (across all trims). The sound system is subpar at best, albeit the Apple CarPlay system is incredibly smooth to operate. No wireless Apple CarPlay in the base model (EX-L only). Storage is made easy with the fold-down seats at the push of a button. My favorite functionality part about the interior is the spacious storage compartment located underneath the trunk mat. Handling on the roads overall is great and road noise is quiet, but hard accelerations (highway merging) will lightly shake the car with a loud roar. I recommend from my findings to shift to Sport mode when making high leverage merging for a more reliable acceleration. 4,000 miles in, I can say with confidence that I recommend the 2023 Honda HR-V for your next vehicle purchase!

So slow it’s almost unsafe! Front seats are not comfortable. Blind spot in side mirrors. Everything else is good. Base engine needs 40 more horses. Sport trim should have a turbo engine.

Amazing is all I can say. Bought a 2019 Range Rover. Two other dealerships wouldn’t even look at me, but they welcomed me and made me feel comfortable. I will definitely be back when I’m ready for another vehicle.

The HR-V is a great vehicle, however, the option of heated seat is enemic. Have taken back to dealer 3 times for testing and they say there is nothing wrong and meets specs. I changed dealers and got the same resuts. Well my bottom tells another story and have tested both driver and passenger for heat in the dead of winter of winter. There is absolutely no heat from either seat. Tested from current dealer with the same results. Maybe we are jinxs as my wife and other passengers can confirm lack of heat, or, no heat at all.

Love how car handles. The HRV is wonderful on traveling bc I have arthritis and it was a pleasure to drive on long trips. It’s smooth riding and an attractive car. It is easier to get into than the CRV bc I am short (5’2) so I had to climb up into CRV but not HRV.

I chose the HR-V because it was small enough to fit down my driveway but was still an suv. The car is great but it doesn't have the features of my RAV-4. However, the new car, in the Sport model, has the updated features I wanted including navigation/Apple Car Play/Android Auto. The add ons by the dealer were not worth it and were ridiculously expensive.

Keeping this short and sweet. I call Adam Auto to On Saturday 11/11/2023 I called Adam Auto Group of Crestwood, Il to inquire about a vehicle. The salesman James answered all of my questions. It's hard to get a salesman to answer questions over the phone they all usually want you to come in right away. He did not pressure me in any way to come in. After a few minutes he called me back and gave me more details about the car, it was close to closing but he convinced me to come in to see the vehicle for myself. When I arrived he took me out to see the car and it was everything he said it was and had every amenity I was looking for my new car to have. He was very polite, professional and knowledgeable about the vehicle. His professionalism and patience with me was what I enjoyed most. Before I left I put down a deposit to hold the vehicle. Smart looking. Very roomy for a car in such a small class. Handles very well and rides nice on most roads. Its a little bouncy on very bumpy roads which is to be expected for a small vehicle. We love it.
