I have purchased two Hondas from Ourisman Bethesda over the past twenty years and have been very satisfied with my purchases. A key reason I keep coming back to Ourisman is John Thurston, Assistant Service Manager. John knows Honda cars, inside out. He fully understands when maintenance or repairs need to be done. More than that, he is very cost conscious, only recommending services that are required. Finally, he is friendly and courteous, always remembering his customers and their interests and concerns. I cannot recommend John and his service team more highly.

I had the best buying experience for my new 2025 Honda Odyssey. I have purchased many cars over the years, but the staff at Sport Honda made this the best experience I have ever had. It was very professional and very efficient. They were very responsive to all my questions. What helped is that I had researched what I wanted and had the pricing in mind when I contacted them. So we were able to communicate right away. They provided me with useful advice while having to make some decisions on the purchase, including about the financing for my car. My prior car was a lease that had to be bought out, but they explained the process and patiently waited for me to decide how to approach it. When I went to test drive the car, the sales representative was ready for me and had the car I was interested in brought forward for the drive. He answered all my questions, and followed up on the paperwork needed, including the license plates. I did not know they could actually issue new plates on the spot, which was a pleasant surprise, no need to wait with a temporary tag while the permanent ones were processed. They installed the plates on the new car before I left the lot. The financing was a bit complicated because I was buying out the lease on the old car, but they took care of all of it. I just needed to review and sign the paperwork. The options were explained to me in an easy way to understand. Overall, I was in and out of the dealership with a smile on my face because it was such a pleasure doing business with them. There were many people at Sport Honda involved with my purchase, but I had the most interactions with Robert Fogarty, Natan Gelaye, and Josue Canas. I enjoyed my experience working with each one of them.

Mike assisted me throughout the process and did an outstanding job from start to finish. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure to explain everything clearly. The service was completed on time, and my car is running perfectly. What really impressed me was Mike’s follow-up. He personally called me the next day to check in and make sure everything was working well and that I had no concerns. That level of care and customer service is rare to find and truly appreciated. I enjoyed my test drive experience and the staff was attentive. However, the rep who worked with me and my boyfriend insisted on accompanying us on the test drive. No other rep had joined us at other lots, either private or dealership, so it seemed like more pressure and less privacy. We also had to tell the dealer that we’d meet him inside after talking privately. Again, pressure. That, plus no acknowledgement of the need for cosmetic repairs—duct tape under the seat, a hole worn through the driver’s car mat—made it fairly easy to walk away from a decent car.

Andy Gonzalez is the best. He treats every customer as if they were the most important customer in the world.
