After changing jobs and having to drive 100 miles round trip, I decided to buy the 2023 Honda Civic, I think it was the best decision of my life, not only does it save me a lot of gas but it looks spectacular on the outside and not to mention The interior is simply perfect with a lot of space, like any criticism there are negative points such as the sound system which in my opinion lacks power to be able to listen to your favorite songs at full volume, another point that I would like to highlight is that it lacks entry to the car without having to use your remote control even my 2011 grand cherokee has it, in a general perspective it seems like a good car for price, safety and appearance, it has been my first honda and I think I will continue with the tradition of continuing to buy this model for a long time

We had a great experience at Cransh! Found the first car for our new teenage driver. Love their policy of preventative maintenance and getting those cars that already have some miles on them ready for more! The best part, a small problem popped up with the car after we took it home, and like a boss, they were on it and made it right! Great overall little commuter hatchback. We got ours a few years old with low mileage due to the options we wanted. The other reviews are kind of silly on here, complaining about a car due to lack of options selected by the buyer. Yes it wont have heated seats if you dont get the heated seat models lol. Our model is the EX, it has a sunroof, blind mirror indicator, heated seats, and a manual 6 speed transmission. Basically all features any high end model could use, I dont like leather seats due to the degradation long term. Just make sure you avoid the CVT transmission. Our area would not offer manual 6 speed on the high end trim so we had to travel out of state to get ours. Few mods added to the car to make it even better: - bi-led projector retrofit on headlights - led bulbs all around, plates, interior. - auto dim rear view mirror (easy wire in) - front facing dash cam - sirius satellite radio - winter aluminum rims (instead of steelies), summer has factory 17" aluminum black/silver combo - towing hitch (bike carrier) -- vehicle rated at 2000 lbs Overall its been very reliable, super practical with the folding seats. It gets excellent fuel efficiency and fits everywhere. Power wise, its very snappy given with a manual transmission you can control it a lot better than the sloppy CVT. The manual does 0-60mph in 8 seconds or less, which is very fast for a little car. Its not a tesla or a GTR with 130hp but its plenty for its 36-40 mpg. One issue ours had was the starter went out really early, but it was an easy change out, its a known issue. The seats are not very comfortable for long trips but thats because they are so small and its a commuter car. The cam gear also can get noisy on these at start up, so they will rattle but has no impact to performance. We have just over 100k miles on ours and its a very strong little car, will be getting another one of the final production year as this one gets higher in mileage. Again get the manual 6, you will not regret it, honda manual cars are semi automatic, the clutch is like a feather vs. a subaru for example. Totally worth it.

It is now 2024, my Fit is a bought new 2013. Still drives like new. It's a little light, keeps you attentive to the road, the back seats are a little firm, but this car holds everything. All the ways you can configure the interior is amazing. If anyone thinks this car is weak, remember the peak horsepower is 6800 RPM. Run it out and feel the Vtec boost. Heat, A/C, ell that works well. Stereo has good sound, and you can connect iPhone through USB and track and volume is controlled by radio head. Body design still looks modern.

Car is surprisingly compliant, I’ve had a few big Audis and vws with low profile tires and this car is really comfortable in comfort mode, took it immediately to a private event at Palmer a few weeks back and the car in stock form did fabulously, definitely lives up to the hype.... and then some. Only downside so far is the lack of options for tires since this car has odd-sized tires, non oem wheels are out of the question, the car has zero torque steer, aftermarket wheels would make all the magic go away. Also, 30mpg is a big plus. I traded my 2011 Range Rover sport for this and honestly the Honda rides better. Leaving the car stock will be the main goal, the car to my eyes is absolutely perfect and livable for daily duties. One thing I’ve noticed lately is that the car has not stopped from appreciating. Future classic is an understatement.

No haggling over the price is good and bad - good because you know the price - bad because they are a little high on prices, but the cars have all been serviced as opposed to most used car lots which just clean them and sell them.

the vehicle is all around amazing i am a tuner and a honda guy thru and thru this little car I bought used stock and have modified the suspension and odd and ends but abused it daily now 30000 miles later she is still right their reliable as the day I bought her

I absolutely love this car, I am so glad i went with this car instead of the other option i was looking at. The only things i don’t like, are the limited storage space, and the engine start stop feature. There should be an option to turn it off and keep it off instead of having to turn it off every time i start the car. Other than that, this car is amazing. It has great leg room in the back, which is what i was looking for the most besides the remote start. I upgraded from a 2003 elantra.

I have enjoyed my 2022 Honda Civic. The ride is great, it has enough performance to get around traffic when needed. The only draw back is there have been several recalls for different issues but over all it has been a great call

Nearly perfect car for me. High mpg. I am single. Keep the back seats down all the time. Holds more than enough for a 4 month camping trip for one person. Great around town. As others have said, a little noisy, a little bumpy. The noise does not bother me. A little less bumpy would help.

Bought my Fit Sport new in 2013 (Ge8). Milano Red with 5 speed auto and paddle shifters. Almost never use paddles but use Sport mode for on ramps and merges sometimes. New it got 28 mpg in City and 45 mph long trips. Now 27-31 mpg in city and 40 mpg long trips Built at Hiroshima plant. It has not been babied but has been well-maintained for 142000 miles. Visibility is great and I tinted the glass when car is new. Interior is well designed, attractive and functional...the only thing I would change would be a bit more color, "lounge mode" on back seats, and a front passenger seat that would fold forward completely flat....I have hauled everything in this car...Gone through 4 sets of front brakes, 2 batteries, put in new spark plugs (1 original plug had lost its electrode!) at 110000 miles and a valve adjustment. Filters, oil, bulbs, transmission fluid refresh, etc...Also then installed Koni SRT orange struts and shocks. At 110k miles rear drum brakes were still at 90% so if anybody is thinking of doing jdm rear disc swap its not necessary. About 7 years ago tpms sensors started to fail but I never bothered to replace them....Total maintenance and repair costs have been .027 cents per mile! It's still tight, no rattles. Its been parked outside most of its life. Clear coat is starting show some wear in small areas. Hit a small deer once. Had headlights polished about 3 years ago. I am a big guy and have taken many long trips in it and no problems with front seat comfort. I have 6 wheels so I run snow tires on the front in winter. I use 205/55/16 tires as it seems to handle and ride a bit better with these slightly bigger tires. I wish Honda still sold them here. I am biased but I feel the 2nd gen Ge8s are the best looking and funnest to drive

We bought our 2010 new and sold it today. 13 years and 171000 miles of reliability and great driving. The strengths are the utility and gas mileage and reliability. The weaknesses are the small battery (New England winters!) the AC is weak on a 95 degree day, and the rear hatch latch is always rusting up. An extremely well engineering and constructed machine. We sold it to my sister and I am sure it will give her several more years of good service.

This car is on the slow side, but can be peppy if the buyer is willing to consider a manual transmission. Having a second Cam, and weighing less than the previous generation is a boon to it’s performance. While the Car is certainly comfortable, it’s lacking heated seats is a tad unfortunate. The handling is great with maybe a lighter steering feel, but on wider tires that goes away. The Fit feels equally at home carving mountain passes as it does on city streets. As for the styling, there are fake vents on the rear of the car that are somewhat distracting to me, but those have been slimmed down with models more recent than the 2015 I bought. The magic seats are an awesome space saving solution and the rear seats have much more space than the car is given credit for. All in all, it is an excellent car with good feel, and great value.

Bought one with 200k on it..drives smooth solid trNs , suspension and acceleration ..nice 1.5 liter engine no oil leaks ..just needed tune up ..spark plugs and o,e cylinder coil ...glad to have it for my gas buster budget. 40 mpg on highway ..seems like it'll go another 100k. Good in snow fwd helps alot
