I love my Ioniq!
The Hyundai Ioniq Plug-In is by far the best automotive purchase I've ever made. I was looking for economy first. Nothing touches the Ioniq. I'm averaging over 70 mpg in my total driving experience since I bought the care 3 weeks ago. We bought the base model and love the way it looks and the features that are included.

Last fall, I brought my 2012 Mazda 6 to have some work
Last fall, I brought my 2012 Mazda 6 to have some work done. I first want to add, this car over the years has been almost trouble free for me. In addition to the work, they did with my approval a video inspection. During the inspection they found several cooling fins missing on the air conditioning condenser. Seeing how the a/c was still working and I'm on fixed income and the current work was going to cost over $1,000, I decided a new condenser could wait til the spring. Well I noticed the a/c quit in April so I brought it in to have the condenser replaced and to fix whatever else was wrong with the a/c in May. They didn't have the condenser in stock and said there was only one in the country. So I came back 2 weeks later. They replaced the condenser, then found out the reason it had quit was there a hole in one of the coolant lines. That too they didn't have in stock. They gave me a loaner, a Mazda CX50, a very nice car I might add. They searched high and low and couldn't find a replacement. Finally they went to an outside shop and had one fabricated. Then I got my car back in good working order. Last year, they had quoted me roughly $1,300 for the condenser replacement. They said it was within a year, so they'd pretty much stick to that quote. Still I was very worried about what the bill would be. I was fairly certain there'd be no standard cost for the loaner, but I was afraid there might be other fees or charges associated with it. I had the car for over 2 weeks. Then there was the labor and parts charge for the coolant line and its replacement. I also figured they must've spent a lot olf time tracking down these parts and I have to mention they kept me well informed of what was going on. This too, I felt there wouldn't be a charge for but still I was a little nervous anticipating the bill. Well to my surprise, the bill was less than the original quote for just the condenser replacement. I couldn't believe it. The bill reflected a $350 VIP discount. Well that's not because I'm a VIP, I'm sure that it's just because I've always brought my car to Mazda, first in Norwood, now in Weston. I'm a retired aircraft mechanic and I know good work when I see it. I also wanted to point out the service advisor who kept me well informed was John Sullivan.
Love the mpg!
I have had the 2020 Hyundai Ioniq Plugin for 3 weeks now and just filled up yesterday. I drove 720 miles on first tank of gas and the car only holds 11 gallons. I'm impressed, and the mpg will only get better as I learn the tricks to better mpg. The car still has get up and go in sport mode when needed, but that's not what you buy the car for. I'm a real estate appraiser and do a lot of stop and go driving, so it's the perfect car for me. I have the limited trim package and the interior is comfortable and stylish. The new infotainment system is easy to use and comes with Android Auto and Apple Car Play. (Toyota Prius Prime please take note). The car comes with a $4,500 federal tax credit for Plugin Electric, and because I was patient and waited to buy the 2020 model in early 2021 I received about $7,000 off MSRP as well from Marik Hyundia in the Boston area. I had to buy the car out of state because they do not sale the plugin version in GA. I did have to pay a transport fee, but the overall savings more than made up for the transport cost. Over all I'm super satisfied with my purchase.

Fuel economy and quality
This is a great choice for entry level EV. Combined I'm getting about 85 MPG. No hybrid car can touch this. Also the price can't be beat. Similar models are about $10K more (looking at you Prius Prime) Also many little extras included in price compared to Toyota.

Great car so far
I've only owned the car for a week but I am very happy with it. My commute is only 2 miles so the 29 all electric miles is more than enough for commute and various errands. When I drove it home it was in hybrid mode and that works great too. The 2020 SE model had all the features I really wanted and the price is great and even better considering I will get the $4,500 Federal tax credit. As long as you can get the credit the hybrid only model really doesn't make sense to purchase. I didn't even take the Blue link features into consideration but it actually does offer a lot. Add in the included maintenance for 36k miles and Hyundai's 60k mile warranty and you really can't beat them.

The only complaints I have are: the seats, too small and too hard. The ride, too hard on little bumps and very noisy ride. Besides that, the car exceeds my expectations. Great purchase.

They are pretty great, really. The car I went to look at didn't work out, but it was still a good experience. I kinda felt bad that I couldn't buy something from them. If you're looking for something, particularly on a budget, it's worth stopping in.
Best PHEV
I have had my Ioniq PHEV for 4 months, and I absolutely love it. I've only had to fill up twice. Most of my 3,052 miles have been around town, so no gas needed.

Wonderful Experience
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a car. Our Salesman was super helpful and was knowledgeable about the cars we test drove. The cars were from two different brands on two different platforms and he offered sound reviews and advice on both. It was super convenient to be able to sit in any car on the lot. The financing process was easy as well. Overall very happy with my car and experience.

It was worth the drive!
My husband and I picked up our new 2022 Mazda 3 yesterday. We live in Green Valley but could not find the car we wanted closer than Scottsdale. We dealt with Austin Mougel by email and texts to trade our vehicle and buy the Mazda we wanted. We could not be more pleased with the pleasant, careful and thorough process completed by Austin and the rest of the Mark Mazda team.

Easy, easy, easy!
I purchased a Nissan Xterra through this dealer, and I was completely impressed with the entire process. No hassles. Will do business with them again!
Best Deal EVER
For the $0 down, $131/month, 15,000/miles/year 3 yr lease, and 50 MPG, it's rockstar like. Only thing is that in City traffic it underperforms the Prius Prime's mileage, as I used to have the predecessor Prius Plug in. But still, 30+ MPG no matter what is still stellar. Highly recommend over Elantra, etc.

Great place to sell your car!
This was our first visit to Cactus Auto. We were selling our car. We got a quote online. When we arrived for the appraisal, they checked out our car, confirmed the info we’d given them online and issued a check. All in 30 minutes. It was the best auto experience we’ve ever had. Thank you Vander and Cactus Auto for being so easy to work with. We’ll tell all our friends about our great experience.
Amazing Ride!
Ive owned the PHEV Ioniq for a little more than two weeks now. I've driven over 1100 miles and just put gas in the tank (only 9 gals since I was at a 1/4 tank). I'm getting about 135MPG which is crazy. Some days I'm getting over 400 mpgs. I get about 30 miles on a full electric charge, so that just about covers my commute, then I plug in at work and am usually charged for the ride home (7 hr 30 mins to fully charge on the level 1 charger). It's comfortable. I love the styling. The interior is intuitive and normal (unlike other hybrids that are more space ship like). I find I get good pick up on the highway, but it could use a bit more zip off the start line. I love getting rebates Federal, State and from electric company. When I get the plates I will be applying for carpool lane stickers--another bonus. These were hard to find. No dealer in SD had more than 3 vehicles on the lot. I think there were less than 10 in all of San Diego county.
