I have visited this Carmax location several times over the years, but I?ve never actually bought from them. I appreciate their selection and no pressure process. If you prefer used cars like I do, it?s great to go to a Carmax and compare several makes and models in one place and get your trade appraised. This time around I worked with Harold Speights, who did a great job of finding the cars I was looking for. This is harder than it sounds - the cars don?t always get parked where they belong after a test drive, especially on a busy day, so he had to do a lot of walking around. We ended up unable to find the exact vehicles listed online, which is the reason this Carmax doesn?t get 5 stars. But Harold got me into the right things to try out. Once I narrowed down my interests after a few drives at a few different places, he texted me some stock numbers of cars at several Carmax locations with free transfers. I ended up preferring a different vehicle from a different dealer, but that?s not a knock on Carmax or Harold. Having the written appraisal in hand helped me get a better deal. If you are shopping for a used car, Carmax is a great place to go. Only thing I?d change is that Carmax could do a better job tracking where the vehicles are on the lot.

I love my Kona, easy to get in and out of, runs great, great on gas. The only problem is the spoiler is plastic and the paint has faded. I think it is a flaw in the paint job. The paint is out of warranty but Hyundai is going to take a look at it and see if they can help in any way.

I have been using my Kona 2020 for five years (almost), I am delighted except few minor problems I had. The rubber around the front left ( Automotive weather stripping) side which is on the body of the car is torn and the wipers were broken in few months. Overall I am happy with car. The driving on ice, snow etc during winter is so easy and stable.

I love mine. I bought it on color Only. Not disappointed other then it could have more pep in its step. It is fun to drive and gets stares from people as it is green/yellow and really pops Green/yellow is best. Gree

I just got a 2022 Kona Limited after having a 2015 Golf for years. I like all safety features and comfort items. The steering wheel is stiffer than I am used to and think that is due to lane assist. I haven't figured out why the nav system doesn't talk, but it must be a setting issue. I used a Garmin unit for nav in past, but Kona's screen is much better. Some people say the space is small, but just fine for me. Overall, i like the Kona

Bought this car January 2024, I got the base model SE with AWD. The only thing I have to say is when the vehicle is in cruise control it has a habit of over revving the engine going uphill. My last vehicle pretty much had the same options (engine specs, bluetooth, AWD) this one had but my last car was 10 years old and falling apart with over 130k miles. Otherwise the Kona is great. I bought it initially because I needed and update rather than an upgrade if that makes sense to anyone. Overall 4.5/5 in my opinion.

They are very professional and cooperative the sales girl name Alicia Charles and especially the finance manager all they are super helpful they take care of your needs and listen you properly I stand your need and they will Make it possible they will keep their promise. Not like other dealers when you are at dealership to finalise the purchanfe and there will be surprises for you but here it?s awesome. I travelled 780 miles to houston to get my car and they acknowledged it and kept their promise. Now I?m waiting for my charger or credit for EV. The Kona is a nice car, has plenty of power for the 2.0L engine, as long its in sport mode. Gas economy is ok at around 28mpg. Sun roof is great. All the auto features are nice, but I wish that the "Turn the motor Off" at a stop was off by default. I don't like the jerk feel it does when it turns itself back on after you release the brake, I tend to manually turn that feature off, if I remember to press the manual override button. Plenty of room for normal size people. if your pushing 6 foot I wouldn't recommend this vehicle, as it would be hard to duck to get in and out of the front seats. I do like the warranty BUT Hyundai hides a few things from you, like the computers are NOT covered by their 5 year, 60k or 10 year 100k warranty only 3 year 36k. I would suggest an extended warranty to cover the 35 computers alone in this vehicle. Also These new cars are all drive by wire. meaning NO cables anymore to throttle, brakes, etc.It is all done by a computer and sensors, keep that in mind. GPS computer is pretty good, map works good. I still like that Hyundai still offers a USB for flash drives with MP3 music, Not everyone wants to use your stupid phone to play music.

I bought the 2023 SEL Kona for my wife. However, she has been traveling for work and I've driven it 4000 miles. I really enjoy the fun little car. Mileage overall 32-40 MPG. Handles/ looks great. Great experience

Great car, very roomy over my 2020 Kona. I bought an N Line and love the sporty look. Lots of features are standard including a Bose audio system. The ride is much better than my previous Kona too. Definitely would recommend this car.

I've been driving my 2020 Kona Turbo for 3 years now and my opinion on this car is ever-changing. Preface: I'm 18 years old and my parents got this Kona for me to earn and now daily drive. I thought the design team was off their rocker when I saw the tail light design, but my expectations were far too high. The whole look of the car grew on me and now I really think its one of the best looking subcompacts you can buy. I ended up with the lime green color w/ the green interior stitching, which also grew on me heavily. The Kona has such an aggressive stance that only gets better when i threw on 25mm wheel spacers (highly recommend if you're going for an aggressive look). I was taken aback at the performance of the green little bugger, it really surprised me how much giddy-up it has stock. Naturally, I was yearning for more performance so I picked up a chip-tune which made it the absolutely perfect vehicle to me. I haven't had any issues with the car other than those that are self-inflicted (meaning no fault of Hyundai), so with nearly 30k on the odometer id say this thing is pretty reliable so far, just don't forget to do your oil changes or the turbo wont be happy. Overall this is a GREAT car for anyone learning to drive. Not too powerful, AWD is a no-brainer, plenty of trunk space (even more with the seats down), and a comfy ride for the price point! Not to mention the Sport Mode adds some extra responsiveness to your driving experience. Overall great value.

Warranty was honored as promised. He is what happened?..llI had the vehicle for only 2 days. Check engine light came on. I let my guy know. I was immediately called and scheduled to bring car in for Monday. Now vehicle is in repair for new transmission?..and they made sure I did have to walk. I am pleased with the customer service from the different departments and over all customer experience!
