In June 2021 I got a beautiful new Sonata with all the bells and whistles, including a sunroof. Shortly afterward I became very ill with my physician recommending that I not drive. I just bought it. How would I know how reliable it is? We're used to a car with a V8, but bought this for economy and the warranty. It' slightly underpowered but not a deal breaker. The Auto stop start feature is a royal pain. It's 95+ degrees, We're at a series of long red lights. The engine stops, the A/C is running, the engines heats up, the car starts for the A/C compressor, stops, starts, stops, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, (wasn't that annoying? YES IT IS!) and starts when I release the brakes. This goes on all afternoon. I've worked on cars for 65 years and you will never convince me it won't wear out the battery and starter prematurely. I want that mess disabled. We will put less than 6,000 miles per year on this car. I doubt we saved $,20 in gas compared to a $600 battery/starter replacement bill.

I've only owned it for less than 2 months but so far I love it! It's a lovely car, has every amenity you could think of (heated seats front and back, heated steering wheel, auto tailgate lift, etc., and is loaded with safety features. My only complaint is the "take a break" comes on constantly and you can't disable it.

I bought 15 days ago. Yesterday, my wife asked me to add water to the wipers. When I opened the hood, I saw the the hood insolation falling apart disintegrating. On the center the hood exposed to the engine heat. I have to take to the dealer

I recently traded my 2014 Hyundai Sonata for a 2023 Hyundai Sonata Limited; both were purchased at St. Augustine Hyundai. From day one, in 2014, when I purchased my 2014 Sonata, I have received nothing less than an unparalleled experience. No matter the department, I was always treated the same, with kindness, understanding, respect, and welcoming smiling faces. Allowing any feelings of being uncomfortable or intimidated immediately subsided. Mastering the ability to balance and give one the space necessary to be able to look around, but in no way feeling neglected or ignored. Because of this, I would take my car back to the dealership for any maintenance and upkeep. What makes Hyundai of St. Augustine stand out, is not the interactions or encounters with whoever walks through their door. It’s the ability to create an experience… lasting relationships. We are no-nonsense, straight up kind of people and car shopping is our least favorite thing to do in the world. However, this was a much different experience. They had a good selection of cars and had the trim and color we wanted. We live 3 hours away and working with John in internet sales was very easy. No pushy sales or pressure; and the no haggle pricing was easy to understand and saved us money as compared to the dealers in my city. Estimating our trade in value was also easy despite the long distance. We could not tell from the website some details about the car, but John and Tabitha took photos and emailed them to us- went the extra mile. Once there, our car was ready for pick up; we got the "tour" from John, completed the required paperwork and we were out the door. A very pleasant car buying experience.

This is our 3rd car we bought from Jenkins Hyundai. Always had superior sales people to help us find the car that is just right for us. Each person is very knowledgeable and very friendly. There is a a great variety of cars to choose from. Service area is nice and comfy and a good selection of drinks and goodies to chose from. From the minute we pulled in the lot we were greeted by a friendly sales person who took us around to see what we were looking for, made suggestions and guided us through the buying process. Finance dept. was an easy process and the financial officer was easy to understand. After we bought the car our salesperson sat in the car explaining all the features and had us go through all of them with him. We can call him anytime with questions. They also have classes for new car buyers, which is awesome.

I have been visiting Universal Hyundai for many years with different Hyundai vehicles and have had a handful of service advisors that I have dealt with. I can't say enough about Rhoda Allen and how good she has treated me and my vehicle in the last few years. My last visit was on Nov 4th, and as usual, she got me in and out in an appropriate time and provided me with great customer service. She is one in a million and I can't give her a high enough rating for the experience I have been provided on the many trips for service on my vehicle.
