I have had my 2013 Hyundai Accent since it was new. I change my oil regularly and I've had to get new tires once. It has only 168,000 miles but I drive it daily. Never any issues The only problem I have with it is some rust on the paint from living in the Florida heat. I absolutely love this car. It is my third Hyundai Accent and never had any issues with any of them.

Have loved this car! Only negative has been with towing my boat. Amy trailer causes the back to ride too low and thus lifts the front tires up so there's not enough traction to pull boat out at the ramp.

the 2012 Hyundai Sonata is a smooth comfortable car with a potential flaw that Hyundai has, in my opinion, addressed adequately. First the Pros: It is stylish in both the interior as well as exterior design. It is comfortable, even for me at 6'3" and is not tiring for extended periods on the highway. The fuel economy is good averaging for me about 32 MPG with mostly highway driving. The engine has reasonable power when needed and is generally smooth. The cons are that the 4-cylinder Theta-II engine that the Sonata Uses, (as well as the Santa Fe and Kia Optima and Sorento) has a known flaw that causes the #4 cylinder connecting rod bearing to wear out prematurely causing engine failure. Hyundai has recently extended the Engine Warranty to a lifetime warranty on these engines and that includes if you bought the car used. I think this is a reasonable response. My Sonata suffered this exact failure 5 months ago at 164,000 miles and the engine was replaced with no pushback. The car carried an original 100K mile warranty which is still considered industry leading so, legally, any car over 100K miles Hyundai and Kia could have stuck to their original warranty agreement and taken no action. But that is not what they are doing. One of the reasons I gave Korean cars a try several years ago was the lack of response I got on a Japanese brand known for their high quality that also had a known failure point but took no action after the warranty expired. Because of Hyundai's ultimate response I still highly recommend the car. if you have a higher mileage Sonata, my advice would be sure you have some sort of roadside assistance, so in case you experience this same failure, you will not be left stranded. The good news is that in the rare instance you experience this issue, you should receive a new engine.

Everything worked out well. I had a car that I dropped off at the mechanic they share space with. Realized that it wasn’t worth fixing the car. They were willing to take it off my hands and give me a little something. It was quick and painless. Josh set me up pretty quickly and we were able to complete the transaction.

Glad we had the V 6 engine. Great acceleration and still 26+ MPG on HWY. In six years never one complaint. Regular maintenance was all and no problems. Family of four fit well on long trips. Sorry we traded it in, should have kept it for daughters to use when they started driving.

I've owned a Sonata 2.0T Limited since 2011. Only major issue was metal shavings in the engine block. Hyundai installed a new engine and everything us been perfect for the next 47K miles. I'm also 6'5" and over 300Lbs but I'm always comfortable when driving or being a passenger in the front seat. I would buy another one but my wife wants something higher to stay above the traffic.

I purchased my 2010 Hyundai Sonata used in 2012, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase. I feel like my Sonata is still aesthetically pleasing to look at when I'm walking up to after a long night at work. I have replaced the headlights and purchased new wheels, but nothing flashy, and it remains relatively the same as originally purchased. My only cosmetic complaints are the interior and exterior door handles, in which I've had replaced as well. They (front driver interior, and front passenger exterior) created an inconvenience when they randomly failed and broke off, but those are minor details in my overall view of the vehicle. The vehicle's performance has been nothing short of extraordinary, in my opinion. My Sonata currently has over 200,000 miles, and I haven't had to have any major work done on it as of yet. I still feel like it's reliable enough to drive anywhere and get me back home safely. I love my Sonata!

We retired and sold our cars, cashing out the equity. We then bought a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe with 190,000 miles. We did some deferred maintenance on it - and a new timing belt. Well a year later, this thing is flawless. It's got 205,000 miles on it now, everything works. It's comfortable, the V6 has good power. Would definitely buy this car all over again. It is an interference engine. Do NOT break the timing belt.

I love my hyundai elantra gls, got her at 113k , its at 187k currently and always reliable , fun to drive and I do all my own maintenance work! The only thing I can't stand is the cloth beige seats stain with rain or water only! Hard to get the perfect clean seats It's annoying so seat covers fixed that! I love this car I may buy another same year with lower miles!!

Hey, after 12 years with a Kia Spectra, this car is FANCY! I've never had leather seats, let alone heated leather seats! I've never been able to make a phone call by telling the car to call someone! I cant really think of anything about this vehicle that disappoints me at all. I'm just grateful to Gustman Honda in Appleton and my salesman Jon Devet for being so great and helping me keep to my budget while still getting SO much car! I have had my 2010 Hyundai Sonata 2010 since 2010. The previous owners turned it in the same year they purchased the vehicle. My primary reasons for purchasing were reliability, fuel consumption, and maintenance. In the past 12 years, this car has proven to be a worthy investment. The only hiccup has been the issue with filling it up with gas without it spewing it out. I had the problem fixed once before but it has started again. The durability of this car is awesome. I have driven it through various terrains and have never been disappointed. I prefer the sporty look of the models made after 2010, but the reliability of this vehicle has been a blessing to me and my family. Lastly, although this isn't recommended, my check engine light has been on for over 5 yrs. Although finances have prevented me from getting the issue fixed, my car has yet to falter. That is just a testimony of how good the car can be.

I bought mine in 2017, V6 FWD with 67,000 miles on it for $1200, was repainted 3 years prior as my guitar player sold it to me, he bought it new and paints cars for a living. Best get around car ever!! I drove miles and miles in this car never had to think, will it make it? NO, this car was the most reliable car I have ever owned, never left me stranded, I will surely miss it, I bought it because I also own a twin turbo V8 BMW X5, you HAVE to have another car if you own a BMW, lol, But IT has been down for the count for 6 months now , JUNK! So, I just traded it in on new car, a 2019 Toyota C-HR, I had the Hyundai for almost 5 years, I WOULD buy another if the price were right just to know that I have another reliable ride if needed. bought the 09 sonata used, w/39k miles, in 2010. have 280k on it now, and it still does everything well. can go anywhere. has been the most reliable, trouble free car i have ever owned. no leaks, uses no oil. body is still pretty tight and the silver paint, other than road debris dings, still looks good. with me, reliability and economy are primary concerns. still trouble free and still delivers 30+ on the highway, so we will be together for a while longer.
