Used Hyundai cars for sale near Wheatley Heights, NY under $8,000

Bought a 2008 Sonata used for my teenage daughter. Paid $5000. It had about 100K miles on it when we got it in about 2016. She is still driving it 6 years later, it has about 150K miles on it, and it has never had a mechanical problem. We've done tires, brakes, oil changes, a radiator flush and not much else to it. Still 100% working order. If it dropped dead tomorrow we would have gotten our money out of it, but who knows - might go another 5 years/50K with no issues. Great car. Great quality. Great reliability.

I've owned a Sonata 2.0T Limited since 2011. Only major issue was metal shavings in the engine block. Hyundai installed a new engine and everything us been perfect for the next 47K miles. I'm also 6'5" and over 300Lbs but I'm always comfortable when driving or being a passenger in the front seat. I would buy another one but my wife wants something higher to stay above the traffic.

This car might appear blend but it is fun to drive. Parts are cheap. Very easy to fix. Just a very reliable car. In february 2021 my elantra has 424 k kilometers. I love my elantra.

I've had this car for 25 years and the only reason I gave it away because my brother needed a vehicle and I could afford a newer vehicle for myself. All in all, great, safe, reliable, great on gas and will last a lifetime!

I've had this car for 11 years and aside from having the engine replaced (thanks to Hyundai's extended engine warranty it cost me nothing) and a couple of minor recalls (at Hyundai's expense), I've had zero problems with this car. Just do regular maintenance, get with a good mechanic (my car is Firestone'd), take care of your car and it will take care of you. The dealership I bought it from keeps sending me "We want your car" letters even after all these years, but unless they want to trade my used fully paid for car for one of their new fully paid for cars, they can't have it. At the rate I drive, I intend to keep this car for at least another 10 years.

Everything works on the car, no issues or check engine lights, this car drives like a new one and I sell it to my grandma.

Over a year ago I purchased a Nissan Altima from capital motors and still enjoy driving it every day. Because of the nature of my job It is necessary to have a back up vehicle. First of all I want to say I have no affiliation with Hyundai. My husband and I have owned Hyundai’s since 1978, Usually upgrading every three years or so. At my age of 69 I have never owned a more reliable car. My current Hyundai is the 2013 Tucson. I absolutely love hi Hyundai and they never drive anything but a Hyundai. Had car since 2015 and im guy washes wax every day. Got car at 100,00ish ive put 85,000 on it myself Heres what been done since owned ball joints 3 sets made cheaply... Exhaust work 2 times from rot . 1 ignition coil replaced High pressure power steering Line pipe replaced lasted about 170000 ish.. lower ball joints 2 times. brakes all around 3 times . at 185,000 and all 4 shocks have to be replaced timing belt at 160,000 replaced. 1 starter replaced Over all just regular stuff that wears out. Cant complain cars real easy to work on your self..all belts replaced twice. Never made me walk home So overall Cheap running Good in snow also never get stuck no matter what i try. Water pump and alternator water pump never been touched still work as intended

2007 Limited, new August, 2007. Almost 180K, never been in shop. Sure-footed as a mountain goat in snow/ice here in Maryland. Fast, holds its own on highway. VERY comfortable interior. VERY quiet - a key purchasing point for us. Styling still ahead of its time - looks much better than competitors. Plenty of cargo room. She’ll be with us forever!

It's a good first car for teenagers, suspension is a bit quirky but nothing to dangerous just makes for a less than smooth ride nothing too bad.

We have a 2013 and it has 230k on it and runs like new, body is in excellent condition, been normal wear and tear things but we have gotten our money’s worth out of it and would buy another, we have the turbo model so it’s fun to drive and has the power on the high way.

I bought my Elantra new. Never had to take it in for mechanical problems just front end due to pot holes. The car gave me an average mileage of 5.3/100km. I finally traded up to a newer Elantra. My old car had 483000km, no warning lights or repairs to the engine or transmission. Keep up with your maintenance

I got a 2013 Toyota Prius from this dealership, I was hesitant at first since they have no reviews but car ran and drove good, they do not finance so it is all cash, prices are good and paperwork was fast and easy as well, just got my plates today, would recommend it

The only problems I've had with my 2012 Hyundai Elantra touring, has been the recalls. It's very comfortable and very economical and I love the way it looks. I get a lot of compliments on my Elantra touring.
