When you've worked in Sales & Customer Service as long as I have, you become extremely impressed when you come across a sales person that excels in both. Having searched on-line for weeks for a specific vehicle, I found one in Memphis that I was interested in. I called to inquire about it and obtained additional information. I received a follow-up call the next day to ask about the service I received on my inquiry. The day after, I got a call from the owner of Gwatney SAAB of Memphis asking me if I'd be interested in a trade. After coming to a tentative deal over the phone, I traveled to Memphis to drive the vehicle. (3 hours away). While living in AR for about 30 years, I was familiar with the name "Gwatney" regarding auto sales. When I met David Gwatney he immediately put me at ease. Just talking to him for a few minutes, I could tell he was someone that would shoot straight with me. After driving the vehicle and deciding to make the deal that was agreed upon, I was introduced to the financial specialist, Tammy Barclay, who made the signing process quick, efficient, and painless. Another customer was there & interested in the same vehicle I purchased. David told him that he could get another one or any other vehicle he was interested in. After my pleasant, no pressure experience with David Gwatney, my mother said she would even travel from Conway to trade vehicles with him. I HIGHLY recommend David Gwatney for anyone who wants no hassle, no pressure, and a great deal on purchasing a vehicle.
