Used INFINITI QX80 for sale near Franklin Park, NJ under $99,954

I came across this dealership, Automotive Avenues, by chance and I am so glad that I did! I was looking at different cars on their website, but it honestly looked like it was "too good to be true" price wise for the cars that they were offering. I started the process with Anthony, who is in the online sales. He was so responsive and right to the point. He was communicating with me even on a Sunday when the store was closed! I was still not convinced and I thought there had to be more to it. He was very clear about the "No haggle" policy, which I love, and told me specifically what fees they charge. I decided to drive from Harrisburg, PA (3.5 hour drive) based on all the information that I had. I was looking at FOUR different cars that they had. They were kind enough to offer to hold one of them for me. It is not what they normally do, but they gave me an exception till I got there, since I had a long drive. Once I got there, I was amazed by how busy the place was on a Monday afternoon and how many beautiful cars they actually had on their lots! I was greeted by Charlie Jackson, one of their 22 sales people. He introduced himself, asked me if I was working with anyone. I told him that I've only spoken to the online sales, but I had an appointment for 5:30. He took me inside to check in, asked me if I wanted water or coffee then took me to his desk where we sat and discussed each one of the 4 cars in details including their Carfax and any other information that the dealership had to share with me. He was very patient and knowledgeable! After that, he brought the cars to the front for me to look at and test drive (except for one because I was looking at all electric cars, and the battery was not charged in that one) so we walked to it just so I can see it in person. Once I saw all of them and test drove the 3 that I could, I decided on one ( which was so hard because I wanted to take the 4 of them home). The one that I bought was a 2022 Mercedes EQS 450+. It was like brand new with just over 1100 miles on it! It was the car that I really wanted from the beginning and I ended up getting at the end. After that, we worked out the numbers on my trade, which I was NOT very excited about because it was about $1500 less than what I got from others! I agreed to it and they started to process the transaction. They stayed with me till about 9:30 pm, way after they were supposed to close, just to accommodate me so I would not have to drive again the next day. I must say that I change cars every 6-12 months because I love cars, and (other than the trade) I've NEVER felt as good purchasing as I did this time. IVE HAD MINE FOR 6 YEARS AND THOUGH MY REAR SHOCKS HAVE WENT OUT THE CAN BE REPLACED WITH NON AIR SHOCKES TO GET THE FEEL BACK.. IVE HAD TO CHANGE MY TIRES 2 TIMES THOUGH .. I HAVE 140000 IN ODOMETER AND IT SHOWS NO SIGNS OF WEAKENING.. IVE BABIED THE MOTOR OIL CHANGES, GOOD GAS BUT THAT ABOUT IT.

I came to this car from a 2016 Yukon which was a rolling dumpster fire. At 102k miles, I haven’t had a single failure with this car. It tows extremely well, the seat comfort is by far the best I’ve ever owned, I don’t love the exterior styling, but its such a great owner experience that it doesn’t matter. Maintenance is like owning a Camry, cheap and infrequent. AWD system makes driving in all conditions a breeze. Great vehicle.

Over all great experience with buying a car. I first contacted them about a car on Cars.com on a Sunday. I received a reply that day and was put in contact with Nick. I spoke with Nick about the car and discussed purchasing it. I was from out of state and when I was able to drive in and see that car I was impressed. The car was in fantastic shape and I ended purchasing the car with Mike’s (I did not realize I was working a different salesman until later as my husband was the first person to great a salesman). Anyway, Mike quickly looked into my online profile and knew exactly which car I was there for. He quickly helped us get the paperwork rolling. I have to admit I’m not used to the car buying process, it felt like it took from ever. But the entire sales team was so helpful, they found me a great for financing, worked to add my car to my insurance policy, got me all fixed up with the proper tags and plates for the state I live in, and cleaned up and gased up my new car for the drive home. Strengths **Styling**: The QX80 features elegant exterior and interior design that outshines most competitors. The Navigator's redesign was disappointing, while the Wagoneer lacks refinement. Only the Escalade matches its presence, though with a more aggressive look. **Value**: Infiniti's current market position creates pricing advantages. Feature-for-feature, the QX80 is thousands less than competitors across all trims. **Powertrain**: The twin-turbo 3.5L V6 delivers smooth power through a 9-speed transmission. I'm averaging 20-21 mpg in mixed driving (better than EPA estimates), though it requires premium fuel. **Comfort**: Ride quality and noise isolation are excellent for a body-on-frame vehicle. The air suspension mitigates most harshness from the 22" wheels. **Handling**: It drives more like a midsize SUV, handling mountain roads with unexpected confidence. Only the pricier Escalade V offers better dynamics. **Space**: Dimensions match standard Navigator and Escalade while exceeding the Lexus LX. The third row comfortably fits adults with easy access, and cargo space is generous, especially with seats folded. **Towing**: All models can tow 8,500 pounds, above segment average. Only Wagoneer models with Hemi V8s offer more. Weaknesses **No Homelink**: Inexplicably lacks the standard garage door opener system. Instead uses "myQ," requiring compatible equipment and Wi-Fi. It works roughly 20% of the time for closing, 50% for opening. **Missing Trailer Brake Controller**: Despite strong towing capacity and pre-wiring, it lacks this essential safety feature that the cheaper Nissan Armada includes standard. **No Rear Sunshades**: A premium family vehicle should include this feature, common in less expensive SUVs. **Limited Storage**: Few interior storage options beyond a modest console and small pass-through. The Autograph trim's "cool box" reduces console space by half while offering minimal functionality. **Software Issues**: I've experienced two significant electronic failures already. Once, the infotainment rebooted while driving. More concerning, at 1,200 miles, the dashboard, HVAC, and air suspension failed simultaneously—a potentially dangerous situation. Uncertain Factors **Reliability**: Infiniti typically outperforms Nissan, and Japanese production suggests quality. The VR-series engine appears promising, but competitors have documented issues too. Air suspension systems generally develop problems after several years. **Resale**: Likely below Lexus but competitive with Navigator and slightly below Escalade. Verdict I'm satisfied with my purchase, especially given local dealership availability and favorable pricing. The electronic issues create some concern for long-term ownership. For shoppers prioritizing style, value, and driving dynamics who can accept some feature omissions, the QX80 deserves consideration in this competitive segment.
