I purchased my Certified Pre-Owned 2023 Jaguar F-Pace SVR with 11,000 miles just over six months ago, and it has completely transformed how much I drive. I used to average 12,000 miles a year in my non-performance vehicles, but with this Jaguar, I’m now clocking nearly 20,000 miles a year simply because I enjoy driving it so much. Whenever I have a tough day, stepping into my F-Pace SVR and starting the engine instantly lifts my spirits. Everything about this SUV is remarkable—the exhaust note, the drive modes, the interior features—it’s all a joy to experience. I’ve never been a fan of using paddle shifters, but this vehicle changed that for me. Merging onto the highway in Sport mode, paddle-shifting through the gears, and hearing the exhilarating chainsaw-like upshifts from the ZF8 transmission is pure adrenaline—it takes me back to feeling like a kid discovering speed for the first time. Though Jaguar is discontinuing its current lineup, I highly recommend grabbing an F-Pace SVR while you still can. A couple of personal tips: I opted for leather performance seats over Alcantara, and I’m so glad I did. They look fantastic, are easy to clean, and have the bonus of seat cooling—perfect for summer. If I had to nitpick a downside, I’d echo what others have mentioned about the hood shaking slightly at higher speeds. While it’s noticeable, it doesn’t bother me, and I’ve come to think of it as a design choice to enhance airflow during high-performance driving. If you’re on the fence about this SUV, don’t hesitate—it’s an incredible vehicle, and I promise you won’t be disappointed

I have a 2009 XF, before the Ventura Dealership was here, I had to make a longer drive. I had trouble getting an honest answer out of their service Dept. I have two Jaguars. The first a 2001 XK8, I bought in 2015 from the original owner. The 2nd, a 2007 XK, I bought after the original owner traded it in to a dealer in Oregon. I had it shipped to me in Alabama. Both are a similar Pacific Blue, the 07 being Indigo Blue, slightly darker. The 01 has Ivory interior, the 07 has beige. The 01 has quite a bit of recurring maintenance from a host of items that needed redesigning, which was accomplished on the 07. Everything needed was done. The big differences between the two cars is trunk space and cabin space. The 07 Cabin accommodates a taller person where the trunk on the 01 would hold a VW Beetle and easily close. I redesigned the 01 upper shock mounts and rebuilt the mounts with new polyurethane bushings that should outlast me. I have replaced them with OEM 3 times since 2015. That chirping sound you hear is the shock mounts, metal to metal chirping. Anyway, the 01 XK8 is a nice automobile that needs near constant attention. The 07 XK is a Super Luxury GT sports car that is easy to maintain and so far, bulletproof. Nothing that I have driven in it's class compares equally. Everything else has a harsher ride and are regular sports cars. I have owned Corvettes, BMW's, Acura's, Mercedes and Porsche's. None compare. So far, I've had people compliment me on my Miata (the 01) and Corvette (both the 01 & the 07)... Jaguar is a brand of only a few in my location... very rare and no one knows what it is... up close, they just can't read, I guess. The guy was staring at the Jaguar emblem when he called it the best looking Miata he had ever seen. LOL!

The Jaguar XE is a sporty sedan with all the latest technology. It is fun to drive. I do wish it had a larger trunk.

When a certified pre owned F-Pace SVR became available locally last year, I decided to go for it. The car I bought, at 2024 model year, had only 4,000 miles on it at the time of purchase and was basically new. Yet, it was being offered at nearly $25K off of MSRP. This was a contrast when compared to the Audi RS6 Avant I was also considering, which at time were still trading for over-sticker. I’m not saying this depreciation makes the F-pace cheap by any means, but it did make it an intriguing value proposition. I of course do expect long term depreciation to also be on the heavier side, at least when compared to and Audi RS product. This is my first JLR (Jaguar/Land Rover) product. Coming from mainly German and American cars over the last 10 years, wow am I impressed. I’ve always heard complaints about fit, finish, reliability, etc, but I truly believe that this is a sentiment of the JLR past. The F-Pace has been completely ace. I’ve done almost 10,000 miles in the 7 months I’ve owned it and other than a flat battery that was caused by a small electrical drawl (fuse related fix that was covered under warranty), it’s been perfect. This engine is so lovely, truly one of the best V8s left on the market. Without doubt the best sounding OEM exhaust on any car I’ve owned. The motor is beautifully tuned with a glorious note and nice, even power through the range. It loves to be stretched to high RPMS but is just as happy around town with plenty of low down torque. The car has been surprising “good” on fuel all things considered and does the daily driver, comfort and quiet around town thing surprisingly well. In fact, I found the ride to be softer than many of the competitors I drove (BMW and M-Benz specifically). The interior design is great. I am thrilled to still have buttons for climate control, volume, drive modes, and other features. Quality is great through out, especially at this price. I would say it’s on par with BMW and of course Land Rover. It isn’t quite as good as Porsche but it is better than the plastic filled M-Benz products of the same model year. Apple car play works perfectly, screen is quick and nice resolution. My few complainers for the interior are as follows: Center console storage is small. I’d like to see USB-C ports in place of the many cigarette style outlets. Instrument cluster looks a little outdated when compared to the newer infotainment screen in the center. The exterior is beautiful in my opinion, although I do feel it’s starting to look a little dated. I think this SUV will age very well (just as the first gen F-type has). Although all modern cars look very similar to one another, I do feel this stands out over many competitors. The ride quality has been great. 0-60 is nuts, and not needed, but fun. In sport mode the cornering is very sharp. Little body roll without making it BMW x5 comp harsh. 8 speed gear box is quick and hasn't given me any issues. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend the F-type SVR. I have no plans to replace this soon and can’t recommend this enough. Other than MPG concerns and a few personal preferences in interior sizing, I have no complaints or issues.

I've owned 8 Corvettes, an M3, M4, a 528, Porsche 911 C4S, an Audi A4, Audi A5, Mercedes E550, Cadillac ATS4, a Volvo, three VWs, many pick up trucks and SUVs, so I have a lot of varied experience with different types of vehicles. Two weeks ago I bought my first Jaguar, an F Type R convertible. So far I love the car. It looks good, it's really fast, ride is comfortable for what it is and it sounds great. Let me address a couple of the complaints I've seen online. First, that the interior is cramped. Based on my experience it's no more cramped than other sports cars I've owned and driven. In fact it feels more spacious than the 2017 C7 Grand Sport I also own. The Vette has more/better tech. Technology is the one area I think the Jag is lacking. The trunk space is very limited but it's a sports car. I've seen online comments that if your bag is bigger than a loaf of bread it won't fit. Not true. You can fit a couple of overnight bags in the trunk of my convertible. A word about the exhaust sound. It seems everyone loves the extra loud exhaust. I do to...sometimes. The good news is that you can have it both ways. In "normal" mode it just has a nice growl and is actually rather quiet. But put it in dynamic mode and it has a completely different personality. I really like the fact you can have it both ways. Quiet or loud, beauty or beast, at least on the 2018. The only piece of the puzzle missing at this point is reliability. If it proves to be reliable I'll have no regrets. Time will tell.

Beautiful exterior and interior design. Drives like real sport car. Battery is enough for most daily drives, but you may want to use other car for long trips if you don't want spend time on chatting on the road. Very luxury inside, looks like exotic car
