It's beautiful and after three years, not a single problem. My 2017 XE was the same way. Of course, it's expensive to maintain, but it's a Jaguar, and if you've ever driven one, you'll never want to drive another car again. Mercedes and BMW's are nanny cars. Jaguar treats you like you're an adult.

Absolutely love my 2009 Premium Luxury 3 litre diesel. Looks beautiful in deep red, with cream leather interior. Drives like a dream, whether trundling around the city, or cruising the open motorways. Interior is stunning, one of the nicest I've seen in any car. It's truly the best do-everything car I've owned. Tows my small motorbike trailer, doesn't even know it's there. Gets you to your destination in supreme comfort, you feel like you've just popped to the local shop. Leaves the boy racers trailing in it's wake. With a stage 1 remap, a flick of the gears to 'Sport', and a press of the 'Dynamic' button, it turns into a snarling, charging rocketship. Has NEVER been beaten! The only downside is...... what could I possibly replace it with? For the money, nothing else comes close. Everyone loves 'Ruby', especially me. Had the 2005 S type 2.7 diesel previously, and the 3 litre XF is miles ahead.

I had been searching for a very specific CPO Range Rover Sport (year, options, color, mileage). Finally found it at LR Main Line. I purchased our Big Kitty, Jaguar XJ40 Vanden Plas (XJ6) well over ten years ago...Some might say stole. Being a fairly capable shade tree mechanic, I have been able to fix all the issues the car had when I purchased her, inexpensively. Since she has been sorted the only issue has been a fuel pump needing replacement. Regular service. I have driven her roughly 15-20,000 miles in the last 10 years and she has always been powerful, smooth and a true pleasure to drive. We are part of a local Jaguar club and participate in many events throughout the year with our club.

I have a 2003 xtype manual AWD. One of the best cars I've owned. Had it 8 years now and no mechanical issues. I've replaced the front suspension parts as needed. Mine has 143000 miles on it and will still do 130 mph. Fun car to drive, and very reliable. The parts are fairly inexpensive if you don't buy from Jag. And any repairs or maintenance is pretty simple like any other car. It has gone through tires faster than most cars but still worth owning. The one problem I have with the car is, insurance tends to be really high for some reason. The car does depreciate fairly rapidly. I will have this car many more years.

The Jaguar XE is a sporty sedan with all the latest technology. It is fun to drive. I do wish it had a larger trunk.

If you want a car that feels like flying this is it. In long trips the powerful engine and cruise control make driving much less tiring. I have replaced the air compressor and water pump. I hear this is normal and you should plan on a water pump. I did the timing chain retro fit and now this car is the best car ever. If you love to drive and are willing to pay the maintenance you will love this car. Ask about timing chain retro fit for the 5.0 liter engine.
