i have a 2017 wrangler unlimited sport with a 6 speed ..at 18 000 miles they had to drop the tranny ..now at 49 000 they will need to do it again and its pissing me off. Plastic parts in a tranny is stupid . And a reverse gear too pointy and too thin ..Seriously ? You know its an issue and still no recall?

This is the third Jeep Wrangler I've owned. The first was a 2012 and the second a 2021. Jeep has stayed true to the formula but the additional refinement in the 2024 Rubicon X is welcomed since we use it as a commuter vehicle. Looks are total bad-xxx but it's much more refined than previous years. The leather interior is beautiful, it's a little quieter, and the creature comforts like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and heated seats/steering wheel are great to have. I'd recommend the V6 engine. The 2.0L 4 cylinder is underpowered and noisy. I can't speak for the 4xe version. Unfortunately, the price of these Jeeps has skyrocketed in recent years. I'm guessing it's due to the demand. Bottom line: there's nothing not to like about this Jeep. Simple to operate (you don't need a training class for the infotainment system) and so many options to personalize it to make it your own.

I was looking for a specific car that was at this CarMax. Problem was that I live in Minnesota, not Chicago and would have to traveling a great distance for a car I had not seen other than in pics, potentially risking wasting a great deal of time and money. I had to trust Jonathan, my salesman, to tell me the condition of the car where the pics could not. He was completely honest and the car was exactly what he said it was. Between Jonathan and Adam, the sales manager i was able to close the deal and drive back to home within an hour. I am completely pleased with the car and 100% satisfied with the dealership. This is my 4th Jeep and the quality continues to improve. My dealer experience was great despite the UAW strike as the dealer put me on a Jeep Order Tracking site where there were continuous updates on production progress. On the same page was a Jeep Forum that provided additional info as to production. Great experience in total!

"Just Explore Every Path is for Wrangler / Gladiator owners. Hands down a terrific off road vehicle which is slowly gaining on surface road comfort and handling. The interior is getting much better and the large user screen is awesome. Total bluetooth connect helps with the new larger screen. If you're a 1st time wrangler buyer and you hate the ride... give it time, or head off road. Jeeps love dirt, sand, and snow. If your a former or current jeep owner and you hate the ride... suck it up. You knew the ride history. That being said.. our 24 Wrangler is far better than any previous model before it. We've owned at least one new Wrangler every year since 2008. I believe I can talk openly about the millennial generation of the Wrangler. From a Sport to Sahara, Willy's to a Rubicon to the 4xE, to our 392. This 2024 Wrangler is by far Jeeps best effort... Still hate where the window switches are located. Wish Jeep would give a 5.7 L option, or smaller V8. A/C is improved, Lighting is very good at night, adaptive cruise works great. As for powertrain.. the 392 is awesome and sounds menacing, 2.0L turbocharged PHEV 4xe Not so great in real world highway over 40mph. The 2.0L turbocharged I4, the gutty little 4 that has some go power, but gas is still not great. 3.6L V6, a preffered all around option. and then the 6.4L V8... Who cares about fuel mileage, open the gates, then listen and feel the thunder.

Bought a new Tiguan and everything went pretty smoothly. Didn’t have to do a ton of negotiation the sales person was very nice and was knowledgeable about the car. Got some additional perks on the car.

Visibility and size are what I need. 4WD, clearance for snow. Rather tight interior, not suitable for more than two. Auto Park is very confusing. Not auto parallel Park. Car will stop while backing out of parking space, won't move if a somewhat complex procedure is not followed.

I love my jeep Sahara I put a 2in lift in it and 20 in rims with 35 in wide tires , I took it on a 5000 mile road trip it did great on the highway and over the mountains of Colorado I hit a lot of snow and rain on the trip to the west coast and back to Oklahoma I loved the drive it does not drive like a sport car but better then my work truck does , for the whole trip I avg 20 miles to the gal even with the over size tires on it and the off road is just what you think a jeep would be , if you want a good on and off road then I say this is a good jeep for you
