New and used 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid for sale near Beverly Hills, CA

Bought in Dec 2024 with a great deal. We needed a new car to support 3 car seats. The two choices in the category are mainly between the Sienna and the Carnival. Why we chose the Carnival: Availability: You had to pre-order a Sienna or wait 6-9 months to get one. Pricing: The Sienna was on average $10k higher with comparable features and no ability to negotiate down the pricing. Driving: The Carnival is quite speedy off the line given it is a hybrid. We live in a very hilly area (Colorado). The Sienna really struggled and was very loud going up normal hills. Looks: The Carnival looks like an SUV (Chevy Traverse). The Sienna looks like your typical minivan. The Pearl white color is especially beautiful up close. Tech: Large entertainment screen makes reading text / maps very easy. Rear seat camera is nice to see what the kids are doing. Wireless charger, bluetooth CarPlay work great. Expanded rear view camera. Things we wish the Carnival had: AWD: The Sienna is available with AWD (although no models on the lot had it). Instead of AWD we spent $1700 on snow tires, which typically perform better than AWD and all-seasons tires. Auto-dimming mirror / Homelink in the EX trim. I purchased an OEM and installed it myself for ~$275. The dealer price was around $800. Sure wish a $40k car came with an auto dimming mirror when it comes with a rear seat camera! Concerns: Kia has that nice 10 year warranty, but I'm not sure how well the interior will hold up to 3 kids under 5. The Kia connect app also did not work upon purchase and it requires a factory reset at the dealer Overall: Happy with our purchase. It looks like an SUV but has the space and maneuverability of a minivan. It's fast off the line for a car that gets 36 MPG. It's got the tech of more expensive car. Given Toyota's significant number of recalls, I wouldn't default to Toyota as being the safer / nicer option. I don't think it is worth the extra $.

Fantastic car-buying experience at Kia Santa Monica, all thanks to Jason who is the most non-salesy salesperson (thank you!). Appreciated that he was authentic, timely, and genuinely cared about helping us find the right fit without any pressure or awkward drama. He made the process smooth and stress-free, and we got a great deal on the car we were looking for. Honestly wish we could buy all our cars from him and then go out for a beer afterward. If you are looking into buying a Kia, look no further than Kia Van Nuys. The sales consultant who helped me is Russell, and when I say he is the best of the best, I mean it. Well i been back to the service department 3 times already after I left for a year because the service i was getting it was horrible with lock of knowledge. But after Erick the new manager did listing to our concern and change all the bad employees with superb knowledgeable employees who really cares about our needs and they do listing to our concerns specially i am very please with Maykel Avanecian a new Representative who is super knowledgeable and help you with all your needs and peoplekke him is what Kia downtown Service Department wa missing. We have been shopping for a specific pre-owned Kia for about a month now. Have visited two dealers prior to Van Nuys Kia and interacted with about 8 other dealers via text, phone or email. Hands down, Umer Farooq at Van Nuys Kia is the absolute best. We had a price in mind that we were willing to pay, asked him to let us know if he had any cars that fit our criteria and send a written breakdown of the total out-the-door price. And he did! I’m sure the dealership made money on our deal, as they should, yet their offer was $5k less than a very similar car we had seen two days earlier. Not only that, he was professional, and very pleasant to deal with. Anyone who has spent time car shopping knows how tiresome it can be. I can not say enough good things about our experience with Umer. No surprises and no headaches. a superior experience all around, with special touches like the big red bow on the car for pics and a gong inside the dealership my son could hit to celebrate his very first car.
