Bought my Forte GT Certified used, never knew until now Kia stepped up their game. I really like the car, with the exception I’ve had already quite a bit of warranty work performed, the original owner didn’t take care of. So far I’m getting any maintenance done that it’s lacked, cosmetically updating the badges, and adding performance improvements here and there. It does have get up and go, once past the little bit of turbo lag. I’m averaging around 22 mpg in the city and have gotten as much as 40mpg on the highway with the cruise control on. Overall, I’m pretty impressed with it and look forward to adding more performance improvements as I can to help it out.

I am a long time owner of a Kia Forte 2019 bought it in 2018. I have almost had it for 5 years now. It has around 80,000 miles of trouble-free driving. I do the necessary maintenance that's it. The pros of this car it's easy on the eyes and easy to pay for. It didn't take me long to double my payments and pay this wonderful machine off. I also like the fact I don't have to go to the gas pumps much. I can go 435 miles on a simple tank of gas. I get about 43.5 miles a gallon highway and average around 34.5 City and mix driving. I love all of the safety features I have lane keep assist frontal crash anti-lock braking and traction control. I even have done some pretty good snow driving with all season radials Continental. It also has a neat feature where it will drive by itself for about a minute. I have the XLS model. So yes I have the Ivt transmission it has worked very well. I don't understand why everybody was so insecure about this Ivt drivetrain it is ran on a chain not a belt. I have nothing but great things to say about Kia engineering. I don't know why but for some reason the 2019 Kia Forte does not have many of the problems associated in the news. I also have the new anti-theft that Kia Motors placed at no charge to me. I think the days are gone when you can complain about Kia recalls. I think we've seen in the news even Honda, Toyota and Nissan have all had recalls also. I feel like Kia turned a big corner in 2013 on making great automobiles. I like them because they're easy on the budget and very reliable and good on gas. I also like the fact there is a lot of room that comes with these vehicles. I also have a Kia Sorento V6 2019 that is also been a good vehicle. Like they say Kia has the power to surprise. Forget keeping up with the Jones get a car that will save you money.

For the price, it's tough to beat. A brand new, great-looking, turbo-charged, 201hp car with (Syntex) leather, power moonroof, Apple CarPlay, heated seats, 18" alloy wheels, all the modern safety features, AND (my favorite) a manual transmission, for around $26,000?! Um, yes, please, I'll take the Gravity Gray one. Of course, it's not a top-of-the-line high-performance luxury car. But, you can't get one of those for anywhere near this price. It's quick, comfortable, and a blast to drive, especially with the 6-speed manual. And, the more I look at it and drive it, the more I like it.

The Kia Forte is a basic and efficient car. It's easy to drive and is an effective daily commuter. The exterior styling is quite elegant but the interior is dark and spartan. The seats could use more padding as long drives are not comfortable. If you want a reliable car without bells and whistles, it's a solid choice.

Everything was great except for the fact that I do not have SXM on the radio, thought I was getting it until in the car, then opps no XM. Cannot dowload it, hard to use a xm player unit, using phone will use up date, no one has an answer for me.
