Used Kia Niro EV for sale near Saginaw, MI

I had a 2018 all black challenger, and decided the color just wasn't for me. Nick Barbera gave me a smoking great deal on my trade in for a beautiful 2020 Challenger in indigo blue. It has a cinnamon red leather interior, and I am very happy with this car. Hats off to all the good people at Auto Web Expo in Plano Texas!!! I would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade from the car they have, to the car of their dreams.

My wife picked up the top of the line version used a year after it was released for under 40K. We have a level 2 charging system in place at home as we anticipated getting one EV. We immediately did a road trip from Denver, Colorado to upper state New York. I knew enough about EVs to know we'd be taking our time and learning as we went. We had some close calls as new EV owners, but always made it to our next level 3 charging station. We made it through some flooding roads in Chicago and our return trip was even faster as we'd learned much from the drive out. I loved the car so much I found the exact make and model (different color) and bought it six months later for under 30K. I wouldn't recommend anyone else road trip unless you've got time to stop frequently, but I use this daily to and from work as well as local excursions. I've had many vehicles over the last 30+ years and this is the nicest, most intuitive & fast (never leaving Eco Mode). I think the reason many are currently hitting the market and substantially lower prices than that initial $48K is most likely a leasing situation, so take advantage of the prices dropping on these very rewarding EVs.

Overall an amazing car. 36,000 miles in just over 1 1/2 years (about 2,000 miles per month). Handles wonderfully, zero repairs so far. Gets 3.5 miles/kW on average in the NYC area - worst in winter, best when using no heat or AC in stop and go driving, but 3.5 is the average. Points taken off for reflective surfaces in the cabin that can blind you when sunlight hits them at the "right" angle. Some stupid head-unit and HVAC quicks (which car doesn't have them?), including settings that -should- stick when re-starting, but do not, and poor control of instrument lighting, which is not consistent across the dashboard. Lots of cargo space with rear seats folded down, and ample legroom in front AND back for passengers. So, I do love the car and love driving it. Would easily consider another Kia EV in the future.

Under pressure having many consecutive sales that afternoon to get excited customer's into their new car. His efficiency and thoroughness as I left, had NOT one after thought of any questions. We've had our Niro for just over a year. That's when we got the notice that Kia Connect "Ultimate" the tech package was being disconnected. We no longer have remote door locks, remote starting and other features unless we're willing to pay $150 -200 per year after dropping $40,000+ for these features. This must be their definition of "service after the sale."

Picked up in February 2022. Great commuter car, 200 + miles per charge, but lack of level 3 charge stations restricts long distance trips. Even in Economy mode car can be QUICK off the line! Driving / handling is good. Quick start in a turn, front wheel torquing can be an issue but this is with any front wheel drive car. No inside release for charge door. Have to get out, open charge door then go back to drivers door to lock the car doors. Charge door on front of car so it can get snow packed in winter. Not tow or bike receiver rated. Bottom line: Fun & economical car to drive. Enough head & shoulder room. Comfortable drivers seat. Gauges/ dials / buttons EASY to figure out. Regen brakes and paddle shifters take a bit to adjust to. If Kia gives the Niro a tow rating, I would buy it again.

Amazing performance. No need for shifting with electric vehicles so acceleration is immediate. The weight of the battery keeps it grounded so you don’t miss the unneeded equipment of a gasoline engine. Just need to install a power source at home and charge up overnight. Once you do the math and deduct the expense of gas from the price…it becomes the obvious choice for you and the planet. Fab features like Smart Cruise and Auto Hold make driving FUN. Don’t overlook this one!

Francisco was very helpful and show the van we bought even while it was being detailed. Also made the buying process simple by getting the all the financing before the van was done. Overall a good buy experience and follow through with getting one of the door locks fixed after the sale,

so much going for it that it is sad that the dashboard panel was not thought out. The air conditioning and the media controls are inexplicably linked. Every time you want to turn the radio on, you will turn on the air conditioning. It is bonkers and it's not useful. If you want to install a phone holder you will not find a good place as all useful information is on a panel that would hold the phone. Who designed this? Fire them.

Going electric is a fascinating experience, You drive by gas stations and realize, they are a thing of your past. This car get every good mileage. I have seen 300 miles after a charge. The drive is so quiet and the interior feels rather luxurious in some ways and quite baffling. in others. The complex electrical system has an air conditioner/radio switch that is completely annoying.Every time you turn the radio on, if you're not in the right place, the air conditioning goes on. This happens perpetually. The entire system requires two ro three reads of the manual—it is not intuitive. Another dislike is (it can be turned off) is the steering wheel switch that shudders anytime you make a lane change—there have been times when the sense of control is lost—not a good thing! The entire right side is given to some Las Vegas type light fixture that can change colors. It's a wasted space, though passengers comment and seem to love it. All in all, a good car, pricey compared to similar cars, but a timely choice.

Great car for trips around the city. A blast to drive. Good range. Maneuvers really well in tight spaces. I’m 6’ 2” and there’s plenty of room in front and back seats. Easy to charge. Inexpensive to maintain. However, the bench seats are extremely uncomfortable. Back up beep is way too loud and annoying. Not worth the price unless there are substantial state and federal incentives.

We chose the entry level trim model. This vehicle has amazing fuel mileage and drives much better than you would expect at the price. Many of the features for this trim level are not offered on equivalent vehicles from other manufacturers.

Had a smooth, efficient process of making a trade for a new Telluride with Andy Peck. He was well-prepared to start the process on a Mon. morning after my phone call with him Sat. night before dealership closed. Andy was/ is a kind, patient, knowledgeable guy who won't pressure you or try to upsell a vehicle. He went above and beyond making me comfortable with the new car, and even made a walk-thru video of the car's many tech features that I could watch at home whenever I needed to. (I'm in the Boomer generation that has some trouble with all the "bells and whistles" in these new vehicles). He did all the settings for me like driver's seat, phone connection, radio, and Kia Connect. Encouraged me to call or come by with any more concerns or questions. Performs flawlessly but charging technology is badly designed and takes too long. If Kia had their own chargers like Tesla, that would be better. But they don't.
