It's been 6 years since I bought my Forte 5 LX. There were times I drove it 400 + miles a week on crappy Northern California freeways for field work and the only thing replaced was the battery, tires and plugs. It currently has 120,000 miles. This one has a GDI engine but no sign of engine problems. It's the basic LX version and I'm soon putting 16" wheels on it since the 15" steel wheels have that rust look. Overall, this car has been very good to me and is great for a retired person.

My experience started when I saw the truck listing in cars.com. It was a Saturday night and I left my information via eprice request. Monday morning I received a call from Rich Womack the car advisor. He introduced himself and advised truck was available. After discussing the truck I told Rich that I would call back in a few minutes. I did and in a hour or so I purchased the truck. It was a pleasure buying from Rich as there was never any pressure and I was comfortable. Picked up the truck and another pleasurable experience. I have a 2019 AWD Stinger GT2 Federation Edition. Yeah… it is pumpkin orange. NOT my favorite color for blending in. However, all the Carbon Fiber trim adds just the right touch to pull it off. I was test driving MANY cars in its price range and NOTHING had the “WOW” factor like this car. In sport mode it is, quite frankly, a BEAST! I had another driver messing with me on a highway in Tennessee… each time I sped up, he sped up. Each time I slowed down, he slowed down. At one point he went to cut me off for the second time and I floored it. I went from 80MPH to 118MPH in about 2 seconds. Had a blizzard here in NY and I made it home without issues with the AWD. Hands down, this is the nicest car I have ever had!

Love this car! Have 45,000 miles on vehicle and have only done brakes and tires… Super happy with the way it looks and responds. Most reliable car I have owned. Would happily go to another Kia after this one!
