Love this vehicle. It is on a frame so it will not ride like a plush luxury vehicle but it rides and handles very well. Lexus detuned the motor bit. A little more power might have been nice but it not designed, nor do I want, a rocket. In fact, when I learned that Lexus was going to also retire this very reliable 8 cyclinder and offer twin turbo v-6s, we bought a second one. We get 18-22 miles per gallon from a reliable motor which will should last hundreds of thousands of dollars. This turbo stuff, just like the ev stuff represents false economies and will result in the death of such vehicles way before they need to be junked.

Service has always been good, reliable, and discussed before work starts (no surprises). Advisory staff has always been friendly and helpful no matter what the situation is. Facility is clean and organized. Work has always been satisfactory.

Bought a 1 owner GX460 after owning an RX350 for 14 years and 245,000 miles. I LOVED that car. The GX is perfect for my growing family and a little bigger for all of the excess a toddler has in baggage. Will always buy Lexus. Reliability beyond compare!!

We love the truck. It drives incredibly smooth, almost too smooth to feel capable off roads.... Yet it is. Gas mileage is poor as expected. Tech is a little behind the times however I'd buy it again in a second. It is so reliable and nice to drive.

I really like this GX 460, I was considering a GX 470 instead I went with a GX 460 premium and I really like the color it not being a common color, it seems since the little I've owned it I'm always getting complements on it.

I have purchased a number of vehicles and this was by far one of the easiest, stress-free vehicle purchases I have ever made. Auto Land, Inc had the vehicle I was looking for. When I called to inquire about it I was transferred to Amaury (Audy) Mora. He was straightforward, pleasant, knowledgeable and answered any and all questions I had. He even discussed all maintenance records they had on the vehicle. During our conversation I informed him that I would be buying this vehicle sight unseen as I am out of state. Now, the website had a ton of pictures online regarding this vehicle, which is amazing because I hate when there aren't enough pictures, but Audy took it upon himself to send me even more pictures he took personally AND even took a video of the vehicle and sent it to me. Again, I am in VA and this dealership is in IL so thus I am buying this vehicle out of state. Audy informed me of everything I needed to do to hold the vehicle and exactly what he need for the sale. Paperwork was easy to fill out. He answered all my calls, texts, and email. I felt confident that I was making a good purchase. I could not have asked for an easier buying experience. And to top it all off, since I have to have the vehicle shipped to me he is willing to come in on his off day to take even more pictures for me as the truck is loaded on the tractor trailer. This is a very comfortable car and is great for trips. It has a tremendous amount of room for luggage. The V8 also makes it great for driving around town.

I was very pleased with my experience. I started at CarMax to "try on" several cars from several manufacturers. The salesman (Jack) was happy to oblige, despite it being cold and rainy. We walked the lot and I sat in ~20 cars. I went home and researched them some more, scheduled a few to test drive and came back on Jack's day off. This time, I worked with Brandon for a few test drives and discussed other vehicles at nearby CarMax locations. They found a vehicle that fit my requirements and transported it in for me to test drive. A few days later, I was back for the final test drive, loved the car and purchased it. Jack and Brandon kept good communication, weren't pushy and were a pleasure to work with. The business office was quick and explained the paperwork and processes effectively. This is my 4th Lexus 460 GX. It seems smaller and there no point using the 3rd row no leg room. What I don't like especially is that you can view everything in your cargo area between the Captain seats. There's no cargo or tonneau cover to hide the cargo. I bought a piece of carpet to hide what could be seen and it continues to fall down.

Had my 2016 gx for a year and a half now got it wit 50,000 miles 2 previous owners drove it across the country twice has a 113,000 miles now and hasnt given me one problem just regular service and maintenance. I traded my 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLE450 4Matic for a brand new 2023 Lexus GX460 and could not be happier! I love how solid and substantial the GX feels and even thought it is not at quick as the MB with its turbo inline 6, I love how the V8 engine in my GX sounds and performs with its perfectly matched power train. The truck looks nice, rides nice and it a great place to spend time. I’m looking forward to many years of enjoyment since these vehicles are known for their legendary reliability.

Fantastic SUV. Swiss Army Knife of SUVs. Snow, towing, hauling, groceries, and going to a nice dinner, this SUV does it all. Mine is 2017 Luxury with Driver Assist package fully loaded with tow package and captain's chairs. It is my 8th Lexus (my wife has her 3rd RX 350, my daughter has IS 250, and I have had an LS 460L ($104K car!) and two GX 350s, all loaded. All perfect and zero issues. I live in Ohio and I run Blizzak snow tires in winter. The traction is amazing. The sound system is better than in my LS and it is quieter than the LS. I hated my LS due to tiny trunk and is the only Lexus that did not suit my needs and taste, FWIW. I am 59 and retired aerospace engineer, and will drive my GX until it no longer runs, I no longer run, or there is no more gas to buy. I have been a Toyota/Lexus fanboy for 20+ years. The GX does everything that I want it to do and it does it very well. I enjoy it that much.

Very comfortable ride and seats, reliable, and great visibility. Love the Mark Levinson sound system, it is excellent! We bought it 10 months ago with 53,000 miles on it and still looks and drives like brand new. I love how whisper quiet it is, no road noise, and there is not a squeak or rattle anywhere in the vehicle. Lexus is definitely in a class of it's own. It is so easy to keep it showroom clean, which makes it still look brand new. When seeing it, no one believes it is 9yrs old.

I purchased a new 2023 GX460 two weeks ago, and it is a fabulous SUV. I did get two Key Fobs, so it depends on when you get the car. I traded a 2020 RX350, and believe it or not, the GX is super quiet, and more so than the RX350. I have the Premium Plus with Sport package, and it is super good looking, and I get compliments on it all the time. I do recommend the sport package, it has nice exterior upgrades . The Mark Levinson stereo is fabulous. The tried and true v8 with the 4 speed automatic trans is wonderful, smooth sailing. The MPG is really not far off from the RX350 with the v6. I'm average about two miles to the gallon different, around 16 in town , with 22 on the highway. Not bad for a heavy vehicle. While some reviews tend to knock the rear tail gate opening that opens to the side, I love it, and a big plus is that you can raise the back window ! Not many SUV's do that ! The GX460 is built in one of the best factories in Japan, the Tahara plant. The fit and finish is perfect. Everything lines up, the paint is beautiful ! This is one of the best cars I have ever owned, if not the best ! I highly recommend the GX460 !
