It has very good acceleration when you need it on either electric motors or the gasoline engine. Frankly, this plug in electric hybrid is 95% electric in a large metro area with 36 electric miles each day after a plug in overnight. The plug in recharging draws 12 amps at 120 volts, so make sure not to overload the circuit the wall plug is on. I have used a quarter of a tank so far for 550 miles. The hybrid feature reduces the electric and gasoline usage. The ventilated leather seats, the heated steering wheel when needed, and the large dashboard display are part of the luxuries that that you would expect from Lexus. It has great safety features, but is less of a nanny than some earlier RX 350/500 models. It even automatically breaks, only as needed, much like you would yourself. The car has a little less room in the trunk and inside the car, but even as a larger person, I don’t miss it. The only issue I have is that Lexus eliminated the audible blind spot warning when signaling to turn and change lanes from all 2025 models.

When we first came our sales rep was not the best; luckily we got a new sales rep Brandon who was great and did an amazing job with a speedy process while still being kind and respectful to us. This dealership ended up working with us and giving us a great day; Rudy in the finance department was very knowledgeable and great with his process for us too! He was able to get us a few more discounts as well they really took the time to prioritize us so even though we had a rocky start with the first guy the rest of the crew was there to pick up slack and make it happen to us.
