Visited Grieco Honda, Johnston,RI, on Fri. Mar.28, just to begin looking for a new vehicle. Didn’t plan to drive off the lot that day with a new vehicle, because “just looking “. Then we were introduced to Jacob Hammen. He put me right at ease by asking me what I was looking for in a vehicle, not what he wanted for me. He gave me the time to make a decision, narrowing it down to two cars of interest, which he then allowed us to test drive. Fell in love with a Honda Accord. From there, Jacob went above and beyond to present a deal that we were very comfortable with. While he was putting everything in motion for us, he also took the time to make sure we were comfortable in our wait for all the proper paperwork to be completed….asking if we wanted, or needed, a beverage, or snack. Had the pleasure of having Bill Edwards as my sales consultant and I could not have been happier. I had no intention of buying a vehicle I strictly wanted to get some info and maybe take a test drive. Bill was phenomenal in his knowledge of every aspect of the Mazda SUV's. He told us all about the exterior, engine, interior, the Whitten guarantee and what makes Mazda more satisfactory than other brands. He offered the ability to test drive but was in no way pushy and you can tell his agenda is to educate the buyer as opposed to the annoying sell sell sell mentality. I really appreciated this and would advise anyone to ask for Bill.

Update: After a bumpy start, Mike Smith, the General Sales Manager went above and beyond to fix some problems I encountered. I'm very grateful to him for how he handled the situation. He made it very clear that he would take care of the issues that happened and make necessary changes. I have to give credit where credit is due. All issues have been resolved and Route 9 Mazda even went a little further to insure customer support.

The car salesman Samuel Rizzo was a great help. He was respectful really helped me out with the car, I will definitely be going back to get into another car. One of the best dealerships I’ve went to!!

I went in to look at a used car I was interested in, and took it for a test drive. The car was clean, ran well, and I ended up driving it home. The salesman Josh had only been there a couple of weeks but the process was easy and went smoothly. I was happy with it and the car.

I shopped here for a used Mazda3. The person I scheduled the appointment with was not available when I arrived. I was given a new sales associate. We test drove the car together. We discussed pricing. I was fully expecting them to tack on a bunch of useless add-ons that were non-negotiable. Instead, he added a few optional add-ons and a small fee for reconditioning the car. I thought the fee was reasonable. It was simple to remove the optional add-ons. I was shocked by the experience. It went really well. The manager was really nice. Unfortunately we were still a bit apart on the price so I left to sleep on it. I was pleasantly surprised by their behavior. Maybe there is hope that dealerships can be straightforward and professional. I recommend these guys even though I didn't buy from them in the end.

My husband and I picked up our new 2022 Mazda 3 yesterday. We live in Green Valley but could not find the car we wanted closer than Scottsdale. We dealt with Austin Mougel by email and texts to trade our vehicle and buy the Mazda we wanted. I will start by saying Jordyn Friel is an out standing sales person, she cared about what we wanted in a car and there was no pressure. This alone makes shopping for a car at Scherer Mazda an experience rarely found in a car dealership. Everyone we had contact with in the dealership while purchasing a Mazda made us feel like we were becoming part family. We highly recommend Jordyn and this dealership when you are thinking of purchasing your next vehicle.

Corey and team went above and beyond to help me and my twin 16 yr old daughters. We had just spent 2 hrs at a competitors dealership getting belittled and chastised. So after leaving that dealership we stopped at Cardinaleway just to look at their used cars. We couldnt have been greeted by a nicer salesman than JP. He went out of his way to show us everything they had within our price range. It was also 115 outside and that didnt stop him from providing great customer service. But what was the best customer service was Corey providing me a suggestion of leasing 2 new mazda 3 versus buying 2 used cars. The outcome was better than expected. I ended up with 2 new 2018 cars for less out of pocket money and a lower monthly payment that I currently had with one car. There was no pressure at all! I have never felt so comfortable in buying a new car than I did at this dealership. The entire process was awesome. Everyone was so friendly and kind. It truly felt like family. I highly recommend this dealership who doesnt want to play the high pressure car buying game. THANKS COREY AND TEAM!! YOU ROCK!!!
