I always drove American cars. Father worked for GM. But this time I went for price/reliability/style. The interior could use some redesigning. Some of the switches should not be where they are. That's my only negative. I am glad I purchased this make /model. I glad I moved from American to Asian made. I am writing this with only 1 month driving the CX5. I am starting to like the car more and more. What would have been a better option...have heated side mirrors instead of heated seats. Your butt will eventually warm the seat. But the heated mirrors would benefit the driver more in the cold months. Good car.

The audio on the Carbon edition is outstanding. I purchased this SUV due to its value and reliability. I would highly recommend the Mazda CX 5.

Had the pleasure of having Bill Edwards as my sales consultant and I could not have been happier. I had no intention of buying a vehicle I strictly wanted to get some info and maybe take a test drive. Bill was phenomenal in his knowledge of every aspect of the Mazda SUV's. He told us all about the exterior, engine, interior, the Whitten guarantee and what makes Mazda more satisfactory than other brands. He offered the ability to test drive but was in no way pushy and you can tell his agenda is to educate the buyer as opposed to the annoying sell sell sell mentality. I really appreciated this and would advise anyone to ask for Bill.

Again! I have always had a great buying experience at Jenkins Mazda in Ocala Florida with Scott being my sales person. I mean face it, it's a psychological war as well. I say that cause this is the 7th new mazda vehicle I have purchased at Jenkins Mazda in Ocala. The thing is that I arm myself because I know there is going to be negotiations back and forth with other members of the Mazda team ( remember there is no I in team) but I must say the team at Jenkins Mazda is a well-oiled machine (Steven, Mr. Joe and the responsibilities of the finance staff) believe me I observe. Meaning each staff person doing their job well. I trust Scott and that's why I'm a repeat customer of his. I could buy my vehicles in Gainesville and save time and gas. However, I choose to come to a business where you are not just another number, and they know there is a very good chance that I will purchase a vehicle if negotiations goes well, it's a win win situation for all parties involved. Let's be real, they make money and I'm happy with the purchase of my vehicle (the last thing I know they do what to hear is I'll sleep on it) This is my review again, more detailed. Great new car buying experience. Purchased a new Jetta through the Costco buying program and Berge VW was able to beat Tucson dealerships by at least $2,000. One salesman from Tucson said, to quote his manager: "He has NO idea how [Berge VW] could come up with another $2k off that price, but, obviously, it's a better deal for you." Bob, my salesman at Berge VW made the experience VERY easy. He didn't even need to see my trade-in to give me a fair appraisal. He even offered to meet me halfway between Tucson and Phoenix (I declined because I wanted to see all the colors in person and test drive a few). I kept expecting there to be a catch, but it was the easiest and quickest car purchase I've ever made (I believe I am at over a dozen cars). I was in and out in less than 3 hours! I remember reading somewhere that people normally spend over 12 hours at a dealership when car shopping. A lot of the Tucson dealerships play old-school games, but I didn't see any of those tactics at Berge. The finance representative did not try pushing any extended warranties/service packages/etc and was very pleasant to work with. Bob made sure I was completely satisfied with the experience. At no point did I feel pressured into making a purchase or have to play the back-and-forth negotiating game.
