Took my daughter to Marketplace in Stonewall to purchase her first new car. Our salesman, Mike Lafitte, treated her (and me) wonderfully. Took his time, showed her cars, and made this experience so special for her. She was thrilled to drive away in her brand new 2017 Spark. This is the 2nd vehicle we have purchased here, they treat you like family, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking to make a purchase.

Easy easy EASY way to buy a car!
by janders5511 from DealerRater.com
December 3, 2018

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. Mechanic said to me, "This car is perfect, like new." Just what I wanted to hear. Thanks Carvana! I am telling everyone I know about you guys. Good to work with you! Janet - 2017 Nissan Pathfinder

Vroom has a very streamlined process
by Berk757 from DealerRater.com

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5-series, and the Vroom price compared to a similar make/model/mileage vehicle from CarMax was $3,000+ cheaper. I selected my vehicle over a few weeks of looking at photos. I filled out a credit application online, and they immediately called me to finalize the app, discuss rates and payments, and to get my $500 deposit. I received a loan package via FedEx 2 days later, signed all the paperwork, and sent it back in the pre-paid FedEx envelope they provided. About 3 days later, I started getting emails to schedule delivery. The process only took 9 business days from the moment I made the deposit to the moment I got my vehicle. The vehicle was clean, just as described, and runs great. Now I just need to get a state inspection and add this to my insurance policy, and the tags will be mailed to me in a few weeks. Thankfully, Vroom gives me a 60-day temp tag so there is ample time to receive the plates. This is the future of car-buying, and the 7-day money back guarantee makes it the perfect way to purchase a used vehicle.

I purchased this car over a year ago as a certified dealer demo. I had been driving Subarus and other SUV's. The Subarus have uncomfortable seats. The CX-9 has very comfortable seats, great driving dynamics. Plenty of power with the turbo and the most quiet car I have owned. It is also a beautiful design especially in Soul red.

ABOVE expectations! There for the customer!

We just purchased our new Signature CX-9 last week and we are in love! From the very first day we walked in, to the moment we got our new keys, the experience with Rochester Mazda has been above any other car shopping experience. Zach was very helpful and kept communication very open, which was so appreciated because that is hard to find nowadays. We also had the pleasure of doing part of our business with Peter who seemed to really take the time to ensure things were always ready/correct for us when we walked through the door. Zach was very pleasant to work with as we feel he is genuine and cares to take the time to answer our questions/go over EVERY little thing in detail. He always made sure all questions were answered before we left. We weren't expecting our CX-9 to arrive for another month or so, but Peter and Zach made it happened and called us just a mere couple days later to say it had arrived! We are very pleased with Rochester Mazda and the people there. HIGHLY recommend if SERVICE is important to you and if you want straight shooters who don't do the typical 'car dealership dance/game', but will actually work FOR YOU.

Bought a nice low-mileage Escape Hybrid from Jeff
by George from Weston, OH

I was looking for an economical replacement for the 2002 Jeep I'd had for 10 years. I found several Ford Escape Hybrid on-line and read many reviews. Found one with low miles not far from home and decided to at least test drive one. When I got to Wagner Ford I found a nice home town dealership that not only serves the local area but maintains a thriving business reaching out in the internet to increase its customer base. Jeff was, if you will excuse the oxymoron, an honest used car salesman and took very good care of me. It’s been the best car buying experience I’ve had in a long time.

BEST car buying experience EVER!!!!

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Enjoying my Mazda3 upgrade
by ZoomFan from Louisville KY
May 15, 2019

I have been a Mazda owner since 2005, starting with the now-discontinued Tribute. It was a workhorse, hauling kid, sports equipment, dog, furniture, etc. It was closing in on 90,000 miles and finally starting to show some wear; there never was major work needed. After my teenager left the nest, I downsized in 2012 to a Mazda3. Another reliable Mazda, more fun to drive that the Tribute, great Bose sound system, a little tight in interior space but all the efficiency savings in space, low profile, smaller engine resulted in really good gas mileage. After 50,000 miles and a lot of distracted driving on my part, it was dinged and dented, and I clearly needed some of the newer safety features. The wear and tear again wasn't Mazda breakdowns; the car never needed anything other than regular maintenance and tires. I debated about getting a hybrid but decided to stick with what's been working for me. The 2018 Mazda3 version I bought has a $1,600 safety package that's well worth it. At first I didn't like the design of Mazda's dashboard navigation/ music/ communications display center, but it's growing on me. And the 2018 model has a dorky screen that pops up on the steering column to display speed, signage, lane info, etc. I'd recently driven a 2019 Mazda CX-5 on a 500-mile trip and appreciated the same type of display projected onto the windshield. But despite the lower-tech look of the 2018 iteration of this feature, I actually like it better. The darker grey screen pops out the letters and numbers much more clearly and is consistent whether night or day. It's now my favorite feature on the car. This Mazda3 rides better than my 2012, perhaps because of the wider tires. Handles really well. And I confess to liking the bit more Zoom I'm getting with the 2.5 engine versus the previous 2.0 one. My mileage likely will go down a bit, but I drive less (now retired), so it's not as critical. Love the leather seats and the classy, subtle dark brown accents on the black interior. It's a bit of a snug fit and is not such as great ride for rear passengers. But that's not the car's primary use so I'll live with that.

A delight to drive! Striking exterior and beautifully finished interior. Reliable with all the luxuries you’ll find on much pricier brands. 2019 models have Apple CarPlay...I had to have it added to my 2018 model (I believe this should be standard on all models to be competitive). Fits 7 pax in comfort, and easy operation of seats in back to manipulate your interior space. Fun to drive and great sound system built in. Very happy!

In the age of information transparency, anyone who tries to sell you something based on a knowledge inequality puts you, the buyer, at a disadvantage. Unlike new vehicles, where a new car from Dealer A is going to be identical to a new car from Dealer B and there???s not much dealers can do to differentiate themselves, finding a used car that fits your criteria, being treated well by the dealership, and paying a fair price for it is not always an easy feat. After an exhausting several week long search for a lightly used midsize SUV, having driven over half a dozen different makes and models and visiting as many dealerships in the greater Rochester area, we ended up by chance at Ontario Mazda to look at a used CX-9. By dumb luck, we found the exact car we wanted, with the color, trim, mileage, fit and finish, and for a price we were willing to pay. What sealed the deal for us were two things. The first was simple. The car was not being advertised as a Mazda CPO vehicle, but when we got in the car for our test drive, our salesman casually mentioned that it was, in fact, a CPO vehicle. As soon as he said that, I congratulated my wife on her new vehicle, as I knew we were getting it. But the other part ??? unexpectedly ??? was our salesman, Chris Jay. After dealing with numerous salesmen at other dealerships, who were as if out of central casting, Chris stood out as the most courteous, professional, knowledgeable yet not arrogant or pushy, consistent and dedicated in his communication and methods from the moment my wife and I stepped foot in the dealership to the moment we drove away in our car 2 days later. After seeing other people???s comments about their experience with Chris, I see that ours was not unique, but I felt it necessary to add my recommendation to the list and leave my note of thanks. Chris spoke with Joe and agreed to drop the price a little bit upon asking. Even though I could sense there was more room to negotiate (and you never agree to the first offer you???re given), all my calculations, the fact that this car met all our wants, plus Chris???s great attitude weakened my resolve and I did not negotiate any further. Out of all the other places and salesmen we???ve dealt with, I felt that if anyone deserved our hard earned money it would certainly be Chris. It???ll be our first Mazda purchase, so we can only hope this story plays out well throughout our ownership of this vehicle, but kudos to Chris and team on the buying experience. Keep doing what you're doing!

Nice Vehicle, But not the best for short people

Love the Exterior - Super sharp! Reliability is very good from what I've read. I only kept it 3 months, though, and traded it in for a Subaru Forester. I'm 5'0" tall, and could never get the seat/pedals/steering combo to fit me correctly. Also, visibility is poor, like so many SUVs are these days, due to wide roof pillars, windows are not tall enough or wide enough, & the 4 headrests are in the way of viewing out the side and back as well. Try to get Blind Spot Monitoring & Rear Cross Traffic Alert to help with the visibility issue. My interior was Black, and I felt like I was driving around in a dark cave. The SUBARU FORESTER, however has tall, wide windows, smaller headrests, a standard moonroof on the 2nd trim level (the Premium), so there is visibility and light galore!! They also are much more proactive about offering light-colored seats, which also helps it to not be so dark inside. I don't have blind spot monitoring in it, but I don't need it because the visibility is so good! The LCD screen & features are much more pleasant and user friendly than the Mazda's. The Mazda's will not let you select a certain Radio Station, you have to scroll through all of your stations to find it. Also, it will not let you touch your LCD screen while you're driving, but they force you to look down at the console area & use controls down there to operate the screen while driving, which is super unsafe!! The Mazda has a lot going for it, but I because of the above, I wouldn't really recommend it. But some of it is due to personal preference, as well as my short height. The Subaru Forester is well worth the extra money I paid for it! I LOVE it every single day I'm driving it. I traded a 2016Mazda CX-5 Touring for a 2016 Subaru Forester Premium 2.5i. Best decision I've made in a long time!!

Honda Allegiance No More

I started any ordinary day by planning to test drive some vehicles that I had been considering to replace my 10 year-old Honda Civic. These planned test drives included Subaru, Honda, and Mazda. I began the day by test driving a Subaru Cross Trek, which was #1 on my list, as well as a Subaru Forester. I left Subaru feeling confident that I would return another day to purchase a vehicle. After that, I decided to head over to Ramsey Mazda because the CX-5 had really caught my eye. My plans that day were to conclude at a Honda dealership to drive a new CR-V (#2 on my list). I never made it to Honda, or any dealership after visiting Ramsey Mazda. Immediately upon walking in, I was greeted by a young man named Eric Taylor. Right away, he and I clicked. His personality is a great fit for me. Professional, friendly, VERY knowledgable, yet laid back with a mellow confidence in himself. I mentioned to Eric that I was interested in the CX-5 Touring. I was very pleased to find out that Mazda was offering zero percent financing up to 60 months. In the showroom was a CX-5 Grand Touring. "Beautiful vehicle," in the words of my wife. I mentioned to Eric that with zero percent financing, I might even be able to get into the Grand Touring, but it would be a stretch. What impressed me about Eric is that he didn't try to push me into the Grand Touring, which was do-able, but would have made things a little uncomfortable. Eric arranged for me to drive a Touring model. The test drive was fantastic. This is where Eric showed his mettle. He is very knowledgable and took every opportunity, when appropriate, to show off the many great features of the vehicle, without giving off a pressure vibe. When we returned to the dealership, Eric asked what colors I would be interested in and if I would be interested in getting the upgrade package on the Touring edition. We then took a walk through the inventory and Eric sort of let my wife and I explore while following us. When I saw the machine gray metallic version, I knew that was the vehicle for me. We then proceeded back to the showroom. I sat down at his desk. Without asking me first, I told Eric that I would like to explore some numbers. Again, I never felt pressured. Eric worked through some numbers, including a trade-in of my Honda, and we came to a good deal for both of us. Since I wasn't really planning on buying a car that day, I had to return home to clear out the car and grab my Honda title and spare keys. When we returned, the sale was finalized with Eric, and Donovan Lau in the Finance Department. The day ended with Eric giving my an in-depth tour of my new CX-5, and a meeting with Donovan, another great guy to work with. Donovan was very professional, explained everything I needed to know, while scaling back on the things I really didn't need to know. Of course he had to go over some additional protection plans. He really did a nice job with these. I never felt pressured, but his expertise guided me toward purchasing additional coverage, at a quite reasonable price, that covered the wheels, tires, small dents, and windshield, to name a few. A great plan; after all, this is New Jersey, which is cosmetically xxxx on a vehicle. Donovan very efficiently and warmly took us through the rest of the process and we were off, feeling very good about the purchase. Needless to say, I never made it to Honda to purchase my 4th Honda vehicle, or back to Subaru, which had been #1 on my list this time around. It's been a week and I'm very fond of and satisfied with my CX-5 Touring. I'm greatly looking forward to working with the consummate professionals at Ramsey Mazda down the road for routine maintenance!

This is my first lease with Bomnin West Kendall, very grateful and impressed with the professionalism and speed of the service of this dealer's work team. I have visited other places and this is definitely the best, I found here the best prices in South Florida. The seller Luisley Lage and Manager Ariel, worked together to find me the car I wanted. I chose an Equinox 2017 because it is a big and safe car with great comfort. Luisley was very patient and he explain me the details of the car in the simplest way for me. Thanks Bomnin West Kendall for the opportunity to start my new year in the most perfect way.

Most fun car I've ever owned.
by Matt J from Fort Myers, FL

This car is so fun I almost can't describe it in words. You have to test drive one with the top down to see what I mean. The steering is perfect, the handling, braking, etc is absolutely top notch. The acceleration is good enough for such a small car, but it's not meant to be a dragster. Cornering is it's forte. Negatives - there's hardly any storage space. The cup holders barely fit a small drink and the trunk will almost fit your groceries. I added a luggage rack to the trunk to carry our golf clubs. Also it's fairly noisy inside with the top up. I live in Florida and always drive with the top down if I can. If you want to carry lots of stuff around get something else. If you want to have fun, get a miata.

pd off my car 30 days ago-still don't have title

I paid off the car free and clear but I can't seem to get a free and clear title. I have been waiting over a month for it. When I did get it, it was not notarized or signed and it still had a lean on it. I am very disappointed. It was like he just pulled it out of a drawer and mailed it just to pacify. This is the owner! no less, first he was at an auction, then out for 2 weeks, then he was at the hospital, and now he is going to be gone for a week So I took the title back to Wheels in Motion and still waiting. I don't know what to think at this point. I trust the Tim to do the right thing, but to do business with him again at this point is questionable. Maybe it is just me, so I would recommend this dealer to a friend, because I love the people who work there, but be on the part of caution. I don't think he expected me to pay off the car, I really think he thought I was going to trade it in. I never paid off a car before so maybe this is what is supposed to happen. So I am stumped as to how to get a free and clear title. The title is still not right. It was signed or notarized or signed nothing. I may be wrong but I thought it was up to the company to remove all liens and sign off on it. At least that was what I was told so now I don't know what the truth is. I was told I couldn't take the lien off the company has to do that. So at this point I am confused. I just want a free and clear title from the DMV which shows a lien still in place after a month. So it seems nothing got done in 30 days. So my questions are: Who is supposed to remove the lien? How long does it normally take to get a free and clear title from a dealership? Now that I paid off the car why can't I get a proper free and clear title from Tim Zarbock? Why would he send me a non-notarized title with a lien still on it and call it good? I don't understand. What am I missing? Then be gone for a week? Why are his employees making excuses for him? Why do my emails and phone calls go unanswered? When I called they said he was at an auction, then he was gone 2 weeks, then he was at the hospital, and last week or he will be out of the office for a week. It seems to me a runaround just to get a free and clear title. Then when I finally did get it was not notarized, or signed and still had the lien on it. So I gave it back. This is what I have been dealing with for the past month. Why? Is it supposed to be this hard to get a free and clear title? What is wrong with this picture? Does this make since to anybody?

Let me start by saying I'm a first-time car buyer, and I had researched for the last two weeks through varying car sites. I wondered over buying used vs. new, and what was important to me in a car. I went to several dealerships in the Reno area until finally my family and I made our way to Dolan. We wanted to look at a 2018 Kia Forte. Ben rushed over when we first pulled up. He's incredible, bordering on godlike. You know, like those people that you're friends tell you'll get along with right away, yeah Ben fits every checkbox of being a remarkable human being. He immediately grabbed the car so that I could test drive it. Let me say this about Dolan; they have an excellent course for test driving. It felt like I was in a commercial. Ben killed it. He answered all my questions (which were weird), and I fell in love with the car almost immediately. Ben has a great balance in between being a car salesperson and someone who also knows which cars would fit the consumer. He supplied us with information based on what he looked for in a car and didn't look too scared when I took a turn too hard. Overall the difference between him and everyone else we had seen earlier that day was he was genuine. My family decided to think about it and left. I wanted to pick up my sister to get her in my final two cars. We decided to go back to Dolan. First, Ben once again rushed over, he got everything ready so that we could take another drive with my sister. It was another fantastic test drive, and I was prepared to talk about taking my Kia home with me. Ben made the process easy. Who knew filling out files could be fun, overall it was a painless process since Ben is very engaging. At closing time we got to see Baylee for financing, he is just as passionate about the consumer as Ben is. Baylee wrapped us up letting us look at possible add-ons, and we got some additional insurance on our electronics which lowered our interest 3 percent, he's wicked good. I can't praise them enough, nothing was more satisfying than seeing my mom wrestle with insurance and crunching numbers to finally going outside and seeing that ridiculously large bow on my car. Ben finished us off making sure I could use my keys correctly. Buying a car for the first time is a milestone, and I'm sure as xxxx glad that Ben sold me mine.

Mazda is moving on up

I traded a Mercedes GLC300 for the 2019 CX-5 and, honestly, this feels like an upgrade, although the Mazda is priced almost $20K below the Benz. The interior is better, sound system just as good, and technology is superior. Also much more entertaining to drive (I have the GTR, which has the turbo engine, although I drove the GT and it was pretty well powered). Thrilled with the Mazda and really happy with the upscale direction they are taking with he product.
