I bought this 2500 3 years ago with the intention of building out a simple RV for regular and stealth camping. It did not work out due to bed height but what a great vehicle. This is designed for heavy use and for a personal owner, should last generations. The power is excellent, especially considering the MPG: 20-25 MPG in real world use. The handling is also surprisingly good, I've actually passed rental cars on windy roads. The view is beautiful and it is built in Germany and very well. It is not a wonderful tow vehicle as it is not body-on-frame but is rated for 5000#. So you could tow some toys or a small trailer quite easily. These are pretty stripped with only original equipment and there are few of these. You really do want the rear camera and some other stuff. Like other German vehicles, it adds up. When it comes to maint, this bus is the bomb, the oil change is easier than a motorcycle. Get the 4 cyl.

After 40 years of driving pick-up trucks,we decided to try one of these and we are stoked. It handles great , gets great gas milege holds alot of cargo and is comfortabe to drive. Our Winnebago View motorhome weighs over 10,000 lbs., but with the Sprinter diesel chassis it drives like a car. Plenty of torque, fuel mileage better than you would expect from a 5 ton vehicle. Comfortable and smooth for a coast to coast vacation.

This van is efficient and comfortable. The four captain chairs up front are very comfortable with great visibility and a smooth ride. The rear sofa bed can be very harsh on bumps but the family enjoys touring in this van. Easy to drive for a 24 foot vehicle. Handles well and gets 18MPG at speed limit cruising

This van is everything we needed and more. Hands down the 4x4 option is the way to go. Huge clearance, great look and fantastic in the winter.
