I had a truly wonderful car buying experience—ten stars!
I had a truly wonderful car buying experience—ten stars! Sheehy Nissan of Manassas was fantastic. Every step of the process was clearly and pleasantly explained. I received exactly what was agreed upon over the phone, and all the paperwork was completed smoothly. I highly recommend Mr. Ash (salesperson), Mr. AJ (manager), and Mr. Wally (business manager), as well as this dealership, to anyone looking to buy a car. Thank you!
A refined tank
A simply amazing, reliable, durable, and well-designed vehicle. My 1997 Grand Marquis was gifted to me from a lovely friend who is no longer able to drive because of her advancing years and some various health issues. Her and her husband bought it new, and they used it as their daily driver as well as for their annual trips from Vancouver, British Columbia to Arizona. Her husband used to be a chief aircraft mechanic in the USAF, responsible for maintaining the huge B-36 bombers that were in service at the time, and was a very careful and meticulous man. Every single service and maintenance record, every fuel receipt, every minor part that was purchased or repair that was performed was documented and kept in a special file. The car came with not only those important papers, but also with maps showing their trips and destinations, as well as several notepads filled with EVERY single gas stop, gas mileage numbers, weather and road conditions, and personal remarks of their voyages written down. After the husband passed away, the car was really only used once per year for the annual Arizona road trip. Being a serious car lover and backyard mechanic, I was thrilled to be offered this sweet ride, and she was so happy to see it go to someone who would appreciate the car and it's history. At just over 212,000 kilometres (approx 132,000 miles), this car handles like a dream. Not a rattle, not a squeak to be heard, amazingly quiet on the freeway even at 110 kms/hour (70 mph), it floats along like a massive 2 ton cloud. Straight and true without a wobble or a vibration, it handles, steers, brakes and accelerates like it just came off the production line. While I may already be a little biased towards the big Merc (I also own a 1976 Monarch), I can honestly say that this is one of, if not THE most reliable cars I have ever owned. Ice cold A/C, great stereo, a beautiful and spacious interior (I'm 6 foot 3), massive 3 body trunk, and great body styling that still holds up after 21 years, coupled with a smooth and powerful V8 that will easily last many more years, this car is one that I never plan on getting rid of. Go ahead, make fun of how I look like an old age pensioner while I'm driving it. Snicker at the simple, clean lines and (still) bright white paint scheme. Shake your head and wonder why anybody would want to drive a large, boring, full-size, rear-wheel drive, North American sedan that never changed much during it's entire production run. I love my new (to me) Grand Marquis for all the right reasons - dependable, reliable, a quality build, power, and handling. And knowing that it will keep going for years and years without costing a fortune to maintain makes me give FoMoCo a big "thumbs up", cuz you guys definitely got it right with this one.

Great vehicle
Large, comfortable, rides smooth, and isn’t terrible on gas for a V8. Only had it for a year but it was a great vehicle. Bought with 84k and sold at 92k without any major issues.

Kudos to Ron Tate Auto Sales
We looked at photos on Auto Trader and then talked with Ron Tate on the phone. That motivated us to drive 400 miles to Ron Tate Auto Sales. We felt Ron was very open and honest, and we traded for a Ford Explorer. Completely happy with transaction and would buy from Ron again. Highly recommend this seller.
Mine is a 06 LS ultimate with the Handling performance
Mine is a 06 LS ultimate with the Handling performance package. Its a very reliable tank. Drives through the snow just fine. I hit a deer at 70mph and all it needed was a headlight assembly and a header panel. Also getting a go rhino front bumper with wrap around headlight protectors makes hitting black bears a non-issue, believe me I've hit one. Still think the car would benefit if it had 300hp

Stan is the MAN!
To begin this review, you should know that I rated the facilities a 4-star because, in this time of COVID, I was unable to enter the main building. The lot is cramped with gorgeous, fairly-priced vehicles, plus a small building in the center. There was no room for me to park my own vehicle when visiting, so I parked in the cul-de-sac. Now, about Stan. From the Ukraine, Stan is a compassionate, thoughtful salesman who spent our time together masked (because of COVID) and LISTENING to me as I fumbled with what I was looking for. He asked pertinent questions, took the time to understand what I was seeking, and was as transparent with me about the quality of the vehicle I had come to test-drive as is possible. I pointed out scratches. He admitted that they were problematic. I asked him about the timing belt: had it been changed? He didn't know, and didn't invent a story. He didn't say "yes" or "no," he said the most honest thing a car salesman can say: "I don't know. But I will find out for you." And, sure enough, he did! We talked about the timing belt replacement (which HAD happened, and this saves me $1,000 right off the bat). We talked about the provenance of the vehicle, a wreck it had been in eight years ago, how clean and immaculate the car was, both inside and out. I thought that the car was overpriced a bit, and I asked Stan what he thought. He agreed that it could be a bit lower, and on my first visit to the lot, he informed me that his boss had lowered the price of the car by $500. Which was music to my ears. I test drove the car. It handled beautifully. Ice-cold A/C, no pulling to the left or right. This car had been in a wreck before, but other than the CARFAX report mentioning it, I would never have known. Stan gave me the keys and said "Take this to your mechanic," so I did. I sat at my own personal mechanic's office and waited for an hour while they went through the car, front to back, paying close attention to the mechanical aspects of the vehicle. They found a leaking power steering rack and pump. That's IT. "Lou," said the owner of the shop. "This is the best vehicle you've brought us, and I am of the strong opinion you should BUY THIS CAR IMMEDIATELY." I wasn't sure, given the cost of replacing the power steering rack and pump. I went back to Stan. He wasn't sure, he said, but he'd check with the boss. I offered $500 less than the vehicle was priced at, even AFTER a $500 drop! Stan stood up for me with his boss, got the boss to agree, and sold me the car. In conclusion, I have a fantastic vehicle, low miles for its age, mechanically sound (except for the rack and pump, which I will get fixed on my own dime), and Stan has a customer for life in me. I've been in sales for forty years, and Stan did everything right. He shared what he could do, told me honestly what he couldn't do and, not once, not EVER, did he give me a hard-sell. He listened to me, he met my needs and then exceeded them. Kudos to Stan and to Denver Auto Company for the best car-buying experience I have ever had. Thank you.
Still going strong. Best of the best
My 2006 Grand Marquis has 242,000 miles. I have never had a better all around car. It's my third, and I'm about to buy my 4th while I can still get one. On trips I've averaged over 25mpg. The only repairs are the normal wear items. It's comfortable, drives well, has ample room in the interior and has a large trunk. The 4.6 liter engine runs flawlessly and never uses oil. You can't beat these cars!

This vehicle is super comfortable, powerful, has room for six and all their luggage, and still Gets 20MPG average. Rides like you are on air, but still gives good feedback of road. If it had a rear seat pass-through my planes wing would fit in and I would keep it.

First off, I really like this dealership. Tim Goss was my salesman who sold me my car. (Which he's amazing) I have had my car serviced there twice now. I have noticed that this time my car is a little rough when starting it cold. And I always let it warm up until it shifts down, it seems to be idling a little faster then when I first purchased my car and my first service. But all in all it's a great dealership. Thank you Tim for all of your expertise.
Most reliable car I ever owned

I reached out to Rob from this location on a Wednesday. I walked away with my car on a Wednesday. It was that straightforward and simple. Rob was extremely patient and just a joy to talk to. Also, they’re very flexible with pricing and other fees. I highly recommend Sam’s Motor Group for your next used card purchase.
Awesome boat
If you're looking for a big comfy boat that you never have to work on, this is it. The interior could've used some better plastics, but the dash is straight out of the 90's, in a good way, same as a Vic. The interior holds up well, the 2.73 rear end gives you good highway milage (Got 27 once going from STL to Baltimore, usually 25), plenty of get up and go, and if you want a bit better handling, ADTR has a bunch of quality suspension parts that makes this boat ride flat. The 4.6 2V is one of the best motors Ford built in regards to reliability, especially with the PI heads that pretty much fix the spark plug issue, the variable rack makes steering much more "sporty", if you can call it that, than the previous reciprocating ball, the 4R75E trans is good if you actually service it on time, and if you do have to fix anything, parts are plentiful, cheap, and east to get at, and since every part is the same as a vic besides the the front end and trunk lid you can find them at any junk yard. Bought mine for 7,500 witj 50k miles. 10/10 would recommend.

Owned a dozen... never had a major problem
I am 6'6". 12 years ago I saw a list of best cars based on money to spend. I was broke at the time, so I focused on cars under 6k. The Grand Marquis and Crown Victoria were the only on the list I could fit in. They made major improvements in 2003; don't buy one older. Since then, I have owned about a dozen of these, including P71s (cop cars) and a Crown Victoria Sport and the rare Marquis LSE--both are basically top trim cop cars with center console shifter. I bought and sold from individuals and "drove for free" and pocketed money for a decade without any major problems... but watch out for cop cars that had lights and all--electrical problems. After 4 or 5 years without one, I just bought a 2008 Marquis LS from an elderly couple... 44k miles for 4k. I realize now how much I missed these! Can't beat it for highway cruising and comfort. And they get up and go! You either like the exterior styling or not. It has definitely grown on me. Best cars for the money, maintenance and reliability.

Good service
It was a good experience, I worked with Demarcus and Heather. They’re both really great people and are knowledgeable about their stuff. Whatever you need help with they will help you. They are very kind people and willing to go above and beyond for you!!
One of the best of two worlds.
I found this car able to get great MPG IE: 30MPG at 65MPH, and at other times to be a fairly fast hot rod. IT still blows my mind how much power there little 4.6 Ford motors can do, after all it is smaller that the classic 289s both Ford and Studebaker I have owned. Yet it is faster. Feels more like a Chevy 350 like a Camaro I once had. Sadly it has gotten a motor problem, but I love the cars so I now am fixing up a 2003 Ex-Cop P71 Ford Crown Vic, and plan on moving a lot of the interior and exterior of the Mercury over to the Crown Vic. I gain the better handling of a Police Interceptor and will have all the features of my old car.
