Dante assisted me in buying my first car, really friendly and helpful gentleman. The shop overall has good vibes, briefly spoke to a few other workers there in passing and everyone seems to also be friendly. thanks again.
Mine is a 06 LS ultimate with the Handling performance
Mine is a 06 LS ultimate with the Handling performance package. Its a very reliable tank. Drives through the snow just fine. I hit a deer at 70mph and all it needed was a headlight assembly and a header panel. Also getting a go rhino front bumper with wrap around headlight protectors makes hitting black bears a non-issue, believe me I've hit one. Still think the car would benefit if it had 300hp

Most reliable car I've ever owned
Bought my used Marquis for 800 $ , 144,000 original miles. Its exceeded my expectations, very easy to work on . Would recommend for long trips. The previous owner had another car and wasn't using my car at all. He basically left it sitting for what seems an eternity. I thought it would need a few things before I drove away , surprisingly not I drove it home the same day . The only thing that bothered me was the leather seats , I switched them out for cloth seats and it feels much better. It does waste a good bit of gas but I'd say its worth it . Ps. Paying homage to one of the last rear wheel drive v8 sedans 👍

I have a 2005 Grand Marquis LS, and this care is awesome! I did modify it slightly with a K&N cold air induction and custom made dual stainless steel exhaust. The car is so great for cruising because it is like sitting in your living room on the couch.

I bought this car at 150,000 miles and have not had a problem yet. This is the best running car I've ever owned. It still gets 22-25 hwy mpg, the A/C blows extremely cold, and is quiet comfortable drive.

Stan is the MAN!
To begin this review, you should know that I rated the facilities a 4-star because, in this time of COVID, I was unable to enter the main building. The lot is cramped with gorgeous, fairly-priced vehicles, plus a small building in the center. There was no room for me to park my own vehicle when visiting, so I parked in the cul-de-sac. Now, about Stan. From the Ukraine, Stan is a compassionate, thoughtful salesman who spent our time together masked (because of COVID) and LISTENING to me as I fumbled with what I was looking for. He asked pertinent questions, took the time to understand what I was seeking, and was as transparent with me about the quality of the vehicle I had come to test-drive as is possible. I pointed out scratches. He admitted that they were problematic. I asked him about the timing belt: had it been changed? He didn't know, and didn't invent a story. He didn't say "yes" or "no," he said the most honest thing a car salesman can say: "I don't know. But I will find out for you." And, sure enough, he did! We talked about the timing belt replacement (which HAD happened, and this saves me $1,000 right off the bat). We talked about the provenance of the vehicle, a wreck it had been in eight years ago, how clean and immaculate the car was, both inside and out. I thought that the car was overpriced a bit, and I asked Stan what he thought. He agreed that it could be a bit lower, and on my first visit to the lot, he informed me that his boss had lowered the price of the car by $500. Which was music to my ears. I test drove the car. It handled beautifully. Ice-cold A/C, no pulling to the left or right. This car had been in a wreck before, but other than the CARFAX report mentioning it, I would never have known. Stan gave me the keys and said "Take this to your mechanic," so I did. I sat at my own personal mechanic's office and waited for an hour while they went through the car, front to back, paying close attention to the mechanical aspects of the vehicle. They found a leaking power steering rack and pump. That's IT. "Lou," said the owner of the shop. "This is the best vehicle you've brought us, and I am of the strong opinion you should BUY THIS CAR IMMEDIATELY." I wasn't sure, given the cost of replacing the power steering rack and pump. I went back to Stan. He wasn't sure, he said, but he'd check with the boss. I offered $500 less than the vehicle was priced at, even AFTER a $500 drop! Stan stood up for me with his boss, got the boss to agree, and sold me the car. In conclusion, I have a fantastic vehicle, low miles for its age, mechanically sound (except for the rack and pump, which I will get fixed on my own dime), and Stan has a customer for life in me. I've been in sales for forty years, and Stan did everything right. He shared what he could do, told me honestly what he couldn't do and, not once, not EVER, did he give me a hard-sell. He listened to me, he met my needs and then exceeded them. Kudos to Stan and to Denver Auto Company for the best car-buying experience I have ever had. Thank you.

Kudos to Ron Tate Auto Sales
We looked at photos on Auto Trader and then talked with Ron Tate on the phone. That motivated us to drive 400 miles to Ron Tate Auto Sales. We felt Ron was very open and honest, and we traded for a Ford Explorer. Completely happy with transaction and would buy from Ron again. Highly recommend this seller.
Awesome boat
If you're looking for a big comfy boat that you never have to work on, this is it. The interior could've used some better plastics, but the dash is straight out of the 90's, in a good way, same as a Vic. The interior holds up well, the 2.73 rear end gives you good highway milage (Got 27 once going from STL to Baltimore, usually 25), plenty of get up and go, and if you want a bit better handling, ADTR has a bunch of quality suspension parts that makes this boat ride flat. The 4.6 2V is one of the best motors Ford built in regards to reliability, especially with the PI heads that pretty much fix the spark plug issue, the variable rack makes steering much more "sporty", if you can call it that, than the previous reciprocating ball, the 4R75E trans is good if you actually service it on time, and if you do have to fix anything, parts are plentiful, cheap, and east to get at, and since every part is the same as a vic besides the the front end and trunk lid you can find them at any junk yard. Bought mine for 7,500 witj 50k miles. 10/10 would recommend.

Excellent Car
Nothing beats the reliability, and the comfort. The V8 and the rear wheel drive is a rare asset to have these days. The MPG's aren't terrible. I'd recommend this car or a Town Car or a Crown Victoria (they share the same platform) to anyone.

Car purchase
I was reluctant to go to small lots because of all the stereotypes but they had the car I wanted and Bo responded quickly to my internet search.During the test drive I made the decision to buy if I could arrive at a satisfactory price.I had it all written out on a notebook the price I was willing to pay and the taxes the only thing I didn’t figure in was the prep fee we basically split the difference and closed the deal.I financed part of the car and got a good rate.Bo was great I told him I didn’t want any pressure and I received none.
Grand Marquis
I have a 06’ with 57k. I went from being a truck guy to this smooth as silk heavyweight. It’s no hot rod but will cruise all day at 90 like it’s nothing. Everything else out there today is cheap plastic rough riding crap.

Comfort, Power, Tons of room, still avrgs 20mpg
This vehicle is super comfortable, powerful, has room for six and all their luggage, and still Gets 20MPG average. Rides like you are on air, but still gives good feedback of road. If it had a rear seat pass-through my planes wing would fit in and I would keep it.

This is the best dealership I have ever worked with.
This is the best dealership I have ever worked with. We had a serious time crunch to locate and purchase a pretty specific vehicle. Even though they didn't have one on the lot, Brad and the team found the exact truck we were looking for; had it delivered to Wapakoneta, prepped it, did the financing AND did it all in the allotted time. Their efforts really got my wife and I out of a very stressful situation. Oh! They even found the color we wanted. We live in northern Michigan, 352 miles away and I will drive down here to purchase my next vehicle - the experience was that refreshing.
Safe, Quiet, Comfortable, IntuitiveVery Good Value
Purchased this 1-owner lightly-used & well-maintained 16 year-old LSE model in 6/2017 with 85k miles on it. I easily replaced myself: stripped-out ejected spark plug (well-documented design problem, easily & permanently repaired by installing steel inserts, very accessible) and the rear air springs which were leaking due to age: normal wear item. At 100,000 miles I will replace brake pads, ATF, coolant and front shocks, all of which are easy DIY items. Very easy to maintain yourself, and very little to maintain = low operating cost. This unusual LSE model has a performance suspension including higher rate springs and shocks and large sway bars, so this car corners very flat and rides stiffly, very noticeable if compared with the standard models: the "floats forever ride" comment does not apply. Seems to have plenty of tire (no chirping and stops fast) even though mine came equipped with Kumho KH30s: A good touring tire but not a sticky performance tire. The standard traction control's performance in snow is a pleasant surprise, BTW. The LSE has every option but a sunroof standard, including a good and very user-friendly Alpine radio. Dash has everything but the digital graphic displays, etc provided on newer cars. Auto-dim rear view mirror with electronic compass and Ford's old dual sunvisors are slick, intuitive and considerate conveniences.User-friendly and intuitive apply to every control you touch: you can reach everything and operate it with your eyes closed. Huge vertical glass area with low beltline provides good vision, which I strongly prefer. Engine and transmission are very smooth and quiet unless pushed.. Almost zero wind noise. MPG is about 17-19 in hilly city stop and go, 21-22 in mixed suburban driving and about 26 on mostly open freeway driving, again with hills and mountains. Nothing flat here. LSE has dual exhaust and 3.27 axle vs. std 2.73, so your mileage may be different. Fun to drive because it is RWD, different from newer designs and fairly responsive. I don't enjoy parking it because of its size, but it makes really great U-turns compared with FWD cars. As others say, very comfortable seats with ZERO lateral support and no dead pedal means this car out-corners me: I will probably have an upholstery shop raise the side bolsters to solve that problem. That was the 1st thing I noticed when I drove the car and it probably slows me down unnecessarily. I assume everything you read about long life and low frequency-of-repair are true, plus this car shares its drivetrain with the F150: How many of those do you see stopped on the side of the road? Other than that, everyone else's comments apply. I think this is a good buy.

Love to get another one
I never would of trade it in, except for the high mileage it finally accrued. The ride and power was terrific and it rarely needed a repair. Upon trade in it sold quickly. The mercury marquis was discontinued in 2010 and is always valued by mechanics and dealerships for reliability and quick sales.

Speed Boat
What can I say that hasn’t been said for the last 17 years? Yes it’s a heavy gigantic boat, but driving it feels like you’re in a lay-z-boy on a cloud. As a mechanic I couldn’t recommend a more reliable and easy to work on vehicle! Cup holders do suck tho, made of cheap plastic and tiny springs. But all around a great car

Oh, yeah.
I am an old guy. I am not right off the turnip truck. I have bought a lot of cars in my lifetime. When buying a car, I immediately tighten my chin strap and revert to Launch Missile readiness. None of that was necessary in my dealings with Salit Auto Sales. My rather rigid expectations were met, and then some. I mean, I am not one of those New Wave Morality dudes; my thing is old fashioned integrity. And I bought my new – and you’d think it was - very low mileage Mercury Grand Marquis at the right place, sight unseen, and then shipped it 3,000 miles. In all my years – and I won’t tell you how many that is – I have never had a car buying experience like this one. Steve, Mike, and Alan took care of everything. With a professional flair. Without excuses. I was, and remain, stunned. Even if you don’t need a car, go buy one from these guys. I hereby confer the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval on Salit Auto Sales.
