This is a great car!!! We are very happy with car, we have taken this on a few road trips to PA and back from IN and to VA and back. We like the comfort on this, the only draw back was the back seat is not very roomy for tall teenagers, but we've had this a long time and if fit two car seats very comfortably. I call this my old lady car, because when I am too old to get up into my Jeep, I am going to have this car for putting around.

I'm from Pittsburgh PA. I wanted to buy a Dodge Dakota and did a Google search. There are not many 1999 Dodge Dakota's in my region that are still road worthy or worth the price that people are asking. I saw one come up at Instant Equity Auto on cars. com. Every single person i dealt with was excellent at answering any questions I had. I flew out and was there Black Friday 2024 they helped me with taking back my rental car, and off I went 2100 miles home with a used 1999 Dakota. Was I a little stressed? xxxx yes! But, the truck was cleaner then anything I've seen. And it didn't skip a beat! 80mph or 65mph, she just kept going! I was home by Monday and she is still going strong 💪. After I got back, I had some questions about the title and everything, again everyone was extremely helpful. As with any used car, I will say do your own research, anything can happen at any time. Bought a 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid over the weekend. Our salesperson, Marvin Cameron, was very good. He understood our requirements and showed us all the cars we were interested in. He did not pressure us into buying a different car, adding unnecessary options, insurance, etc. However their business manager was a jerk and rude. Came across as could not care less whether we bought a car or not. Did not answer questions courteously and pressured us to prepay for maintenance which we promptly declined. There was a little bit of a good guy bad guy act between Marvin (good guy) and the business manager (bad guy). Marvin told us the interest rate was lower than what we finally received and Marvin also told us more free oil changes were included. The business manager blamed Marvin for being misinformed. Not very professional of him either. They did not budge on the price either. We paid $501 less than MSRP. Would recommend the dealership and Marvin but please pay attention to details

This car is awesome with the sync and navigation system! It rides really smooth and us uber quiet. The gas mileage is good too. Plenty of room on the inside and in the trunk. Makes me look forward to my daily commute. If you are in the market for a large, affordable luxurious car, then get one of these!

My 2004 Mercury Sable gs was bought by my grandma back in 2004 and was passed down to me once I got my license. I will say that it is a very stereotypical grandma car but other than that it’s amazing. It handles great and gets great gas mileage, except for when driving at highway speed the wind does blow the car around the lane. The leather seats are very comfy and the heater heats up fast in the winter and the stereo good quality. For having 139,000+ miles on it, it keeps chugging on. There is no rust at all and it has really taken a beating in the past 7 years that the car has been in my parents possession. Overall the car is amazing and will drive it till it dies, and I don’t think it’ll die any time soon.

I got a 2001 Mercury Sable GS that just turned to 320,000 miles on it, only thing I ever had to replace was the alternator bout 7 years back, starter 3 years back and radiator a year ago but thats because a Turkey vulture smashed into it. Other than that it putters along amazingly, very controllable and useful. It doesn't give up and I'm hoping it will take me farther, my goal for it is to get to 400,000. I bout it for 600 from a friend, best 600 dollars of my life, that was years ago.
