Used Mercury Sable for sale near Springfield, MO

I'm from Pittsburgh PA. I wanted to buy a Dodge Dakota and did a Google search. There are not many 1999 Dodge Dakota's in my region that are still road worthy or worth the price that people are asking. I saw one come up at Instant Equity Auto on cars. com. Every single person i dealt with was excellent at answering any questions I had. I flew out and was there Black Friday 2024 they helped me with taking back my rental car, and off I went 2100 miles home with a used 1999 Dakota. Was I a little stressed? xxxx yes! But, the truck was cleaner then anything I've seen. And it didn't skip a beat! 80mph or 65mph, she just kept going! I was home by Monday and she is still going strong 💪. After I got back, I had some questions about the title and everything, again everyone was extremely helpful. As with any used car, I will say do your own research, anything can happen at any time. I got a 2001 Mercury Sable GS that just turned to 320,000 miles on it, only thing I ever had to replace was the alternator bout 7 years back, starter 3 years back and radiator a year ago but thats because a Turkey vulture smashed into it. Other than that it putters along amazingly, very controllable and useful. It doesn't give up and I'm hoping it will take me farther, my goal for it is to get to 400,000. I bout it for 600 from a friend, best 600 dollars of my life, that was years ago.

This is a great car!!! We are very happy with car, we have taken this on a few road trips to PA and back from IN and to VA and back. We like the comfort on this, the only draw back was the back seat is not very roomy for tall teenagers, but we've had this a long time and if fit two car seats very comfortably. I call this my old lady car, because when I am too old to get up into my Jeep, I am going to have this car for putting around.

My 2004 Mercury Sable gs was bought by my grandma back in 2004 and was passed down to me once I got my license. I will say that it is a very stereotypical grandma car but other than that it’s amazing. It handles great and gets great gas mileage, except for when driving at highway speed the wind does blow the car around the lane. The leather seats are very comfy and the heater heats up fast in the winter and the stereo good quality. For having 139,000+ miles on it, it keeps chugging on. There is no rust at all and it has really taken a beating in the past 7 years that the car has been in my parents possession. Overall the car is amazing and will drive it till it dies, and I don’t think it’ll die any time soon.

The car was great for everyday use. I've owned quiet a few, and I like how she ran smooth, quiet and reliably. Frankly, I'm not too into cars for their features or the bells/whistles, but I enjoyed the convenience this fully-loaded sable had. I'd like another for my child in a few years.

I bought a used 01 Sable and had it more than 1.5 years. It was a good reliable car to me with excellent smooth riding. I had to change some parts during this time but all of those were regular maintenance every car goes through such as oil change, engine tune up at 100k miles, rear brake. I did not have any major issue with using it and I feel it was worth of what I paid for this.
