So far car is great. AWD will be nice in the snow. It has plenty of interer room and adaquate power. Color is nice and tires are new.

This vehicle was originally rated at 15 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. I get 16 mpg in the city and 22 to 23 mpg on the highway in the summer and 20 to 21 in the winter. I have 243,000 miles on this vehicle. Drawback at this time is probable short in the wiring in which the drivers power seat will sometimes go back unexpectedly. Also excessive rust below door entry points. Tows very well(22’ camper)

The Hybrid system is great I use the car for work it has gone though many snow storms and rain storms even an ice storm. It's always worked very well

Recently purchased a used car from this dealership. No pressure at all to buy a car, but obviously they only sell cars and don't know much about what they are selling. I asked if I could take the vehicle to my mechanic before I purchase and they told me "No, the owner doesn't allow it because of issues they have had." These cars came with 0 warranties unless you buy a separate one which doesn't cover a lot of the issues you might find. I feel that certain shortcuts are taken when these cars are sold just to pass inspection and then issues pop up shortly after driving off the lot with no help because you bought the car without a warranty. My car does have a few issues and now I"m left dealing with those, so be cautious and bring someone with you who is very familiar with the car you are wanting to purchase. An OBD2 reader is helpful also....

I purchased my 2008 Marina new off the lot in 2008. It currently has 256,223 miles without any need of major repairs. I had to change the ignition switch a year ago and just now began to have transmission issues. I love this vehicle and it has given me great service.

I got my used 2006 Mercury Premier Mountaineer V8 that had 262,410 miles on it, I'm at 336,710 now, years later, bought her I 2020, I'm in 2025 now, she's still going as strong as any mustang it feels, with minor repair needed in the near future, like a fuel pressure sensor and new struts. Amazing vehicle! I've gone places only jeeps would go, pulled double axles trailers, even drove for 20 hours to the Pacific Northwest, definitely a vehicle I would recommend, if you want something reliable for years to come!

Brandon was great! I was buying a car for my oldest son, Inlive in AZ, my son lives in IN, and the car was in Michigan. Brandon was ultra helpful, I requested that he Facetime time me so I could inspect the vehicle inside and out. Then, Inasked that he start the car & drive it for me as well! He didn’t even hesitate at my requests, just service with a smile. Thus all occurred in the late evening just before the dealership closed and Incalled to purchase the vehicle the next morning! So I just bought a used 2010 Mercury Mountaineer, with a restored salvage title. Typically I do not buy vehicles that don’t have a clean title. Obviously this vehicle was in an accident, and restored. I test drove the vehicle twice before deciding to buy it. I have to say there are a few quirks I have to work out of the system, but the engine and transmission is solid! With just over 100k miles this vehicle is by far one of the cleanest vehicles I have ever bought used, inside and out. I upgraded from an 03 Ford Ranger that had the 2.3L engine 5 speed manual. I wanted something automatic and with more HP. The Mountaineer doesn’t disappoint. For $4,500 I feel this vehicle was a smart purchase even if I have to put some time and money into fixing the weird quirks. I wish there was a way to submit pictures in this review to show just how clean this vehicle is. I would not hesitate on buying another one.

This was my first car and it was great. It had plenty on cargo space and leg room in the front and back seats for passengers. This car is a great midsize SUV and is not too big or too little and feels safe while driving. The 4WD was also a great feature to have in the winters.

Owned two 2000 Mountaineer V-8 2wheel drives. 1st owned 15 years, purchased used with 39,999. Vacation use only towing 3100# travel trailer totaled by drunk driver at 129,000 miles never a major issue just regular maintenance. 05/2022 purchased another V-8 2wheel drive Mountaineer, one owner with 70,686 miles, done a 3000 mile trip no issues. Both vehicles required replacement of front end at 70,000 miles due to pulling travel trailers.

I had the some problem with Labadie Buick Cadillac in Bay City - made all arrangements and drive 36 miles got there and a couple grabbed it out ..after all the promises from sales the night before that they would be waiting for me. bad bad bad policy

Due to a catastrophic engine failure on the mid-sized 4DR Sedan/hatchback I was driving, I made a crisi$ purchase of a 2008 Mariner in Jan 2019. The price was low, as it would soon need all new tires, new front brake pads & rotors, as well as both front steering control arms w/ball joints replaced, and, an alignment, of course, AND it had 239,ooo miles on that CD4E transmission. But inside was clean, and I was on a limited budget, and this car left me with some cash in hand for parts, and it would carry the stuff I need for work. So, I spent a weekend rolling around on the garage floor, replacing all the hard parts, got some good rubber on it, and paid for an alignment to get it driving straight: 25 months/25,ooo miles later, that V-6 is still going pretty strong, starts well in subzero (F) cold, and the transmission is still hanging in there, too! Runs pretty quiet: have to watch my speed! Just wish the upper display worked: if I bump the radio channel button, it takes a while to get back to my station!

I've owned my mountaineer since 2013 and I never had any problems with my car and I would definitely recommend this vehicle to other people who is looking for a good reliable used car. The mountaineer drives well in the snow and it never skidded in the bad weather, I have the 4.0 V6 engine and it has great gas mileage and I would never get rid of it.

I’ve had my 2008 Mercury Mariner VOGA Edition for 5 years and it still runs fantastic! It has 167,000 miles on it and is the best-looking vehicle I’ve ever owned. I love it so much that I had the opportunity to trade it in for something newer but I just can’t part with it. Great small SUV and great gas mileage.

The car was perfect for all of our needs. Excellent looks and styling. Interior is roomy and more than adequate for our needs. Being a used car there were some imperfections but overlooked because of the great value and minor aesthetic issues.
