I have had my Countryman S for about 7 months and 2000 miles (I have two other cars). It’s Chili Red with Petrol Blue interior. My favorite points are 1. The interior. If you love interesting fun interiors as I do then you will love it. If you try to avoid black interiors and exteriors you eliminate 90% of the cars other make. With Mini, you can get perhaps the most fun interiors anywhere and the Vescin seems comfortable enough. Just with they had ventilated seats. 2. Power, FINALLY Mini got a full BMW tune given you pay about the same price. It is plenty quick and I get 33-36mpg on the highway all the time. Drops much lower zooming around town. 3. Appearance and layout. I like the unique appearance, low roof line for kayaks and plenty of room for the kind of car it is. Negatives: 1. Electronics. Had several updates since I bought it and it has improved a lot but will take some getting used to. Use the favorites menu. Everything is pretty much forced onto the center screen. Sometimes Mini does things to be cute rather than practical. Rather than a start button it uses a flag toggle key you turn off and on like an old fashioned key. If you have to change cars like I do it’s confusing. 2. Center console. Basically, there is not one. There’s a little clam shaped compartment the size of a clutch purse. The armrest doesn’t open. Wasted potential. You will hate this if you are used to piling layers of stuff in a huge center console. Glove box is minimal, too. Neutral. 1. There’s no screen behind the wheel but there is a heads up display. Frankly, after awhile I don’t miss it at all. The heads up is excellent but it takes a little getting used to. 2. Suspension is a bit stiff like all Mini’s. Makes it sporty but trade off is feeling most road imperfections. It does take the top off bumps well but it’s a trade off. In summary, the reliability has been good AFTER the electronics updates and most things work well. It is just so fun to drive and look at inside and out that really I am not sure what I’d rather drive. You might cross shop the BMW X1 and see which works better for you. You cannot beat Mini interiors though for just pure fun and the driving matches on what is a practical Mini for a family. Oh, I got it to tow a camper but I have yet to do that. That is a great new addition in my book. I will probably get a kayak trailer.

From the jump, Jimi was everything you?d hope for in a car salesman (and frankly, in a human being): polite, kind, incredibly patient, and full of knowledge. He explained every feature, every detail, and somehow made it all make sense ? no jargon, no pressure, just genuine care and top-tier service. I asked a lot of questions (like? a lot), and he answered every single one like it was the first time he?d heard it ? with enthusiasm, clarity, and a smile. He took the time to make sure I found the perfect MINI for me ? right color, right size, right specs. It?s like he read my mind but better. Bonus points: Jimi somehow made paperwork fun. Bought a 2023 Mini Countryman ALL4 John Cooper Works Edition of the car, and received my order last summer. Simply put, the performance is AMAZING. Put it in Sport Mode (a minor inconvenience), and it becomes a force to be reckoned with, especially to those unaware of this car’s capabilities. It’s marketed as a Mini—SUV, and I think that’s a fair categorization. Still have plenty of room for passengers, groceries,!etc, without sacrificing much, if any, performance. My only complaints? Difficult/clumsy control mechanism to get into Sport Mode, no native Android support, and rear windows are awkwardly installed, and have been “properly aligned” with remainder of car, instead of giving the appearance of being aligned with front/rear windows. In summation, this car performs better than its competition (a 2L inline 4cylinder, lightly turbocharged/intercooled, AWD, pretty aesthetics, and lots of opportunities for upgrades, beyond 301HP, 331FT/LBS Torque, and you have a contender for “production car SLEEPER OF THE YEAR!”), like the other “hot hatches”. Everytime my wife or I drive it, we NOW take turns.(she was bitten by the Mini bug) driving it EVERYWHERE, from trips to work, to the grocery store, and vacation driving. You really have to drive a JCW in Sport Mode to appreciate what I’ve said. Anyhow, these are my impressions on this amazing little car. Worth every penny, not getting rid of or replacing it, anytime soon!

Hennessy Cadillac is by far the best experience I have had ever in buying a vehicle. This is actually my second Cadillac I have purchased from them and I have nothing but great things to say! From the sales department to service it has been nothing short of amazing. I am not easily impressed but everyone I ever encounter at this dealership handles me with care and respect. Entering a dealership as a single woman could be intimidating but not here! Terrance and management went above and beyond to make sure I leave happy every time. I pay attention to how others are treated and I will say I haven’t seen anyone actually upset even in the service department. The concierge level service of greeting me opening doors all things I expect from Cadillac are given every single time. It is always neat and clean on the premises. And most importantly my deals are fair and respectful. Desmond is usually my service guy and he is absolutely always honest and makes sure I am kept up to date with any thing my truck needs without feeling pressured to buy or upsale anything to me. Even once sending someone to pick up a key for my truck when the other one didn’t work. I went to another dealer recently and found a truck I really liked and test drove that I could have purchased but didn’t because honestly I didn’t get the same concierge service from that Lexus dealership. Hennessy and Terrance made sure all my experiences were top tier. I have owned a lot of cars in my life and have had good and bad experiences on every level but Hennessy has not disappointed me one time. Check them out ask for Terrance in sales and Desmond in service and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I thought this car would be too small, but the interior is surprisingly roomy. The feel of it is great. The whistles and bells are wonderful and it fits great in my garage! Only had it a few days, but loving it.

My Mini Cooper is the first car I’ve purchased entirely on my own and it is worth every penny. Not only is it a beautiful car on the inside and out, it handles the road like no other. These cars may seem small on the outside, but they are very spacious on the inside. I have had multiple people tell me how comfortable it is! I purchased the 4 door hardtop which has plenty of room in the front and back, along with a nice sized trunk. I test drove many other makes of cars because I wanted to make the right decision, and I am so happy with my choice. I do not think I’ll ever buy another car that is not made by Mini. If you are on the market for a new car, stop by Mini of Dutchess County, you won’t regret it!!!!

All went as expected. Aaron did a great job and was accurate in his estimated cost. This is my 6th new Mini and third from this dealership.

I've not driven it yet, but we investigated everything from the variable valve system to the turbo charger and watched a video of a complete teardown of the engine. We were so impressed that even before finishing the purchase of the one we were already looking for another one. This engine is AMAZING!! Can't WAIT to drive it!! And with a 6 Speed manual? COME ON YOU LITTLE BEAUTY!!!

It has plenty of legroom in the front and back. It has 1 USB port. The car was special ordered. Fun to drive with almost all of the options.

Peter was the first person who helped me and was very helpful, when I had a family emergency he held my Mustang till I could get in to see it. Kern was the individual who I saw when I was able to see the car. He was very helpful and got me quickly through the process. The only problem I had was the rocker stripe was missing on the passenger side is missing and they have not been able to get it replaced. Hopefully it will be resolved soon.

Fun to drive. Handles the road with lots of power and great gas mileage. Trunk space is ok, but you have to be a good packer Good interior room for a small convertible .
