THE LITTLE 1.2 DOHC ENGINE IS STRONG BUT MITUSBISHI SHOULD HAVE PUT A STANDARD TURBO ON THIS ENGINE,, THATS WHY MITSUBISHI MADE THE 3A92 MIVEC ENGINE.. HIGHLY DURABLE & STRONG .. NO PROBLEM ON THE HIGHWAY OR THE TAKE OFF FROM A STREET LIGHT. THE TRANSMISSION IS ALSO GOOD.. CVT.. NEVER CRAZY ABOUT CVT ... BUT THIS TRANSMISSION IS OK.. CAR HANDLES IN SNOW.. RAIN,, RUNS WELL.. PERFORMANCE IS THE BEST OF THE SUB COMPACT CARS AND EVEN LARGER 4 D SEDANS,, THE MIRAGE IS ROOMY INSIDE ALSO. IVE HAD 6 FOOT 4 FREINDS IN THE CAR . THEY WERE SHOCKED .. LOL... IVE BEEN OFFERED BY KIA. TO TRADE MINE IN TO THEM.. .. BUT I REALLY LIKE THIS LITTLE CAR.. "" NEBULA"" IS HER NAME. 100K MILE POWERTRAIN WARRANTY.. IVE HIT THE 100K MARK.. JUS HAD A TUNE UP AND NEW TIRES.ITS BEEN PAID OFF SINCE 22..SO IM STUCK RIGHT NOW .. IN WINTER. I JUS WISH THE MIRAGE CAME WITH A STOCK TURBO,, IT WOULD REALLY BE FUN.. IDK IF I WANT A NEWER CAR .. This vehicle far exceeded my expectation, I'm a 4 year trade in person but I believe this one I'll keep for as long as I can. The reviews says it's as reliable as the most expensive one's compared to on the market.

I just bought his car in June. Unfortunately for me someone hit my right front fender and it was in the body shop for 3 weeks. I love the comfort and how intuitive the interior is. Things are just in the right place. For me the 2020 is the perfect size. I had a DodgeJourney that just didn’t fit int my carport. I can pull this int the parking spot and have plenty of room. I do believe this is the favorite car I have ever bought and it looks sweet.

Bought new in 2017, then learned Mitsu as a company was not doing well, thought I made a mistake, now, 5 years later have had zero problems, (I kept up on all maintenance), it is THE best value car I have ever owned. (Hondas, Nissans, Subi, Chevy's). 110k and engine is like new. Roomy, simple, enough clearance for dirt roads here, good on gas, and smooth on hwy. I laugh at the bad reviews. They are flat wrong.

It's got a unique look, to be sure. It may not have a ton of horsepower but it can GO from a dead stop faster than almost any car around you. It's small size makes it a perfect city car, and if you need something reliable and inexpensive for commuting you really can't beat it: I spent at or under $20 a month to charge this car at home. For maintenance: no oil changes, just routine tire pressure checks. Even inspections are cheaper without any emissions to check! Bottom line, this is a fantastic budget vehicle and definitely eye-catching.

I bought the car with 90,000 on the odometer. The car, when got on it hard, would start hesitating, and struggle to accelerate. The CVT transmission is defiantly a critter to get used to. The biggest negative thing I found about the car is that it noisy on the interstate. A lot of road noise in the cab to the point I have to turn the radio way up! After repairing the hesitation issue, and ignoring the CVT quirks, the car is very reliable.

What can I say about my Mitsubitchy. I love my car. I love everything about her, even when she decides to cost me a few thousand in parts. I own a 2009 2.0 L automatic and all fairness she is high up there in her miles. She’s currently in the shop for new control arms, and new lateral links, new gas tank (along with straps and hardware), new fuel pump (only because they are already changing the tank and it’s wise to do while the tanks off) and 1 of 2 O2 sensors (hopefully the right one or I’m going to have to pay the 290.00 some for the rest one). I have been informed from many lancer owners that this is a common issue with the Lancers.. a check engine light from the O2. I own two lancers and both I have the same issue, corner rusting on the hood, good thing I bought a new one of those too. Also rusting on the very top of the car. Other then that I haven’t really had any issues with her other then basic maintenance and she’s never left me stuck on the side of the road so that’s a huge bonus. Oh and the only finally issue is the heat shield for the Cadillac converter always likes to rust off of them even despite consistent undercoatings and now, they don’t make them anymore for the car. Big sad face on that one as I’m trying to completely restore all the parts on my car to brand new. But honestly, cars cost to maintain, it’s pretty simple, some parts are super cheap, some are more expensive. That goes the same for any vehicle. She’s sexy and sporty, handles like an absolute dream, takes corners like a boss at high speeds… shhh I didn’t say that, and is all around the most amazing car I have ever seen and owned. But don’t just take my word for it, I’m biased, I have loved these cars since I was a child! Take the advice of all these lovely people also saying they rock!
